2. Antibacterial effect on biofilm formation for bacteria isolated from UTI in Babil province.

Abstract

A total of (100) specimens were collected from patients with urinary tract infections (UTIs), from october 2020 to January 2021. Methodology: Colonial mOrpholpgy, microscopic analysis, biochemical tests and the Vitek-2 system were based on the identification 0f bacterial isolatesTissue Culture Plate Recognition of Biofilm (TCP) and Congo Red Agar (CRA) and Tube Process (TM). Finally, recognition 0f biofilm genes was used such as (ChuA, TspE4C2 and YjaA gene). The outcomes are determined by morphological, environmental, and biochemical characteristics. From the 100 clinical specimen only 70(70%) specimen gave growth bacteria, and the other 30(30%) specimens were not growth and Candida spp growth and mix growth. From the 70 clinical specimen 0nly 31(44.3%) isolates were belonged to Eschrechia.coli, 12(17.1%) isolates were Klebsella pneumonia. out of the 70 specimens, only 6(8.6%) isolates belong to Psudomonas aeruginosa, 10(14.3%), 9 (12.8%) and 2(2.9%) isolates were Proteus marbilis, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus fecalis, respectively.
