Purpose: compare the estimates of individual indicators of motor activity in Ukraine and other countries according to the standards of the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA).Material & Methods: analysis and generalization of scientific literature; methods of the theoretical level of research (analysis and synthesis), a sociological survey, evaluation of data using the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance methodology. The study was conducted in groups of students aged 12–14 (n=1893, of whom 899 were men and 994 girls) and 15–17 years (n=925, of them 449 men and 476 girls). The assessments of the indicators of the motor activity of children of different ages, presented in the AHKGA database and special reports from different countries. Results: results of a survey of pupils of secondary schools in Ukraine, the analysis of reports on the motor activity of children in the AHKG member countries made it possible to compare the estimates of such indicators of locomotor activity as organized sport and physical activity, unorganized active play, and active transportation. Conclusions: according to AHKGA standards, organized sports activities and motor activity of Ukrainian children are rated for "D", unorganized gaming activity – for "C" and active movement – for "B".

1. Streambed drying is becoming more common due to climate change and increasing anthropogenic water resource pressures. Subsurface sediments are a potential refuge for benthic macroinvertebrates during drying events in temporary streams. 2. Sediment characteristics are important controls on the distribution of macroinvertebrates in subsurface habitats, but difficulties making observations impedes quantification of vertical movements. Species traits (e.g. subsurface habitat affinity) also influence vertical movements of macroinvertebrates into the subsurface sediments, but most species‐specific responses remain uncharacterised. 3. Transparent artificial mesocosms were used to directly observe the vertical movements of individuals of three aquatic insect nymphs and two crustaceans. Mixtures of three types of transparent sediment of varying particle size were combined to produce six treatments with differing interstitial pore volumes and, hence, differing subsurface porosity. Macroinvertebrate vertical movements were measured during incremental reductions in water level from 5 cm above to 20 cm below the sediment surface. These species comprised a variety of trait categories including feeding group, species affinity to temporary streams and subsurface habitats. Active and passive vertical movements were determined by conducting experiments with both live individuals and their cadavers. 4. Sediment treatment influenced the vertical movements of individuals as reducing subsurface porosity decreased vertical movements for most species. Vertical movement into subsurface sediments in response to water level reduction was the result of active, not passive, movements for all species. 5. Species identity influenced the vertical movements made by individuals. Nemoura cambrica had the highest affinity for temporary streams and subsurface habitats and its vertical movements were unaffected by sediment treatment, generally reaching depths between 20 and 25 cm. The use of time effectively as well as practice time is an important aspect for learning the contents of physical education. The aim of this study was to analyze and compare the distribution of time in: Compulsary Secondary Education and 1º Bachillerato. The motor activity and non-activity times were analyzed in 4 sessions at each level. The study involved 166 adolescents.The results showed similar time periods of motor and passive involvement, with no significant difference (p> 0.05) between the two: activity range between 45% and 55%. The higher levels of education (4th ESO and 1 Bachillerato) had higher practice time than the lower levels, with no significant differences between groups (F4, 13 = 31,019; p>0,05). Within the passive time, it was observed that the time devoted to the initial general information occupied at least 19.58%. The results allow to conclude that the level of education does not determine the time of motor activity of the physical education session. On the other hand, the low time of motor activity suggests the need to think about the time dedicated to the weekly physical activity and the education classes., La utilización del tiempo de forma eficaz, así como el tiempo de práctica es un aspecto troncal de la Educación Física ya que de ello depende en gran medida el aprendizaje del alumnado. El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo analizar y comparar la distribución del tiempo Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) y 1º Bachillerato. Para ello, se analizaron los tiempos motrices y pasivos de 4 sesiones en cada nivel, donde participaron 72 alumnos y 94 alumnas.Los resultados indicaron tiempos similares de tiempo compromiso motriz y pasivo, sin observarse diferencias significativas (p>0,05) entre ambos y con una oscilación entre el 45% y un 55%. Los niveles superiores de enseñanza (4º ESO y 1º Bachillerato) tuvieron mayores tiempos de práctica que los niveles inferiores, sin diferencias significativas entre grupos (F4, 13 = 31,019; p>0,05). Dentro del tiempo pasivo, se observó que el tiempo dedicado a la información inicial general ocupó al menos un 19,58%. Los resultados permiten concluir que los niveles de enseñanza no determinan el tiempo motriz de la sesión de Educación Física. Por otro lado, el bajo tiempo de compromiso motriz sugiere la necesidad de reflexionar sobre la actividad física semanal y tiempo dedicado a las clases de Educación Física.
