Diplomová práce pojednává o inovaci Campbellova zrakového stimulátoru a převedení léčebného principu na dotyková zařízení s operačním systémem Android. Léčebný princip je navíc rozšířen o standard Heal & Play., The thesis describe the innovation Campbell visual stimulator and convert therapeutic principle for touch devices with operating system Android. The therapeutic principle is enhanced with standard Heal & Play., Katedra softwarových technologií, Cílem diplomové práce bylo vytvoření zařízení nahrazující současné medicínské přístroje pro léčbu tupozrakosti.

- Abstract
Diplomová práce na téma "Prevence a léčba amblyopie na ortoptickém pracovišti" je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií a fyziologií zraku, vývojem zraku, specifickými znaky zrakově postižených dětí, fyziologií binokulárního vidění, patologií binokulárního vidění, refrakčními vadami, diagnostikou a vyšetřovacími metodami, terapií amblyopie, ortoptickou péčí a prevencí amblyopie. Výzkumná část se zabývá zpracováním dat získaných z výzkumného šetření, které bylo prováděno na ortoptickém pracovišti pomocí dotazníku, a dále statistickým ověřením stanovené hypotézy., "Prevention and medical treatment of amblyopia at the ophthalmoplegic department" is the bachelor's thesis which is divided into a theoretical part and researching part. The theoretical part deals with anatomy and physiology of eyesight, development of eyesight, specific features of children having eyesight malfunction, physiology of binocular vision, ophthalmoplegic pathology of binocular vision, refraction malfunctions, diagnostic and methods of examination, therapy of amblyopia, ophthalmoplegic care and prevention of amblyopia. The researching part deals with processing of data gained from the research which was performed at the ophthalmoplegic department by way of a questionnaire and with statistic verification of the determined hypothesis., Katedra ošetřovatelství, Hodnocení vedoucího: výborně minus Hodnocení oponenta: výborně minus Doplňující otázky k obhajobě: 1. - Abstract
Amblyopia is a developmental disorder of the visual system that leads to reduced vision in one or both eyes. People suffering from amblyopia show different perceptual deficits like reduced contrast sensitivity, reduced or no stereopsis, spatial uncertainty, and spatial and temporal distortions when viewing with the amblyopic eye. In the following thesis, different psychophysical methods are used to investigate anomalous perception of amblyopic participants in detail with the main focus on the perception of temporal instability. In the qualitative experimental paradigms it is shown that temporal instability is mainly perceived by strabismic and strabismic-anisometropic amblyopes. The temporal deficits occur only at spatial frequencies higher than 1.6 c/deg, and are perceived in addition to the spatial distortions. Illusory colours sometimes accompany the temporal distortions. There seems to be a relationship between crossed hand and eye dominance and the perception of temporal instability. In the quantitative experiments it is shown that temporal instability in amblyopic perception has a negative impact on the performance in psychophysical tasks. Amblyopes perceiving temporal instability show enhanced spatial uncertainty and spatial distortions for different types of stimulus presentation (auditive vs. visual) when compared to amblyopes without temporal instability. This might be due to deficits in auditive-visual mapping. These deficits in auditory-to-visual mapping suggest an impairment of the dorsal “where” pathway. Thus, it might be that amblyopes with temporal distortions have deficits in the dorsal pathway that come up in addition to the known deficits of the ventral “what” pathway and are related to the perception of temporal instability. The different results of the experiments found in this thesis seem to confirm this hypothesis. Studies using functional imaging techniques might be appropriate for a further investigation of amblyopic deficits involving the d

- Abstract
Congenital glaucoma is a rare and very polymorphous condition. Recent major advances in the pathogenesis, the genetics, the clinical diagnosis and the treatment of the disease have contributed to radically improve its prognosis. The diagnosis and the monitoring of a child with a congenital glaucoma are part of a multidisciplinary care approach where surgery is predominant and which must aim both to normalize the intraocular pressure in the long term and to attempt to improve the development of the visual function through a careful and lasting treatment of the associated functional amblyopia.

- Abstract
Anisometropia may be responsible for aniseikonia. and anisophoria. In children, aniseikonia may create amblyopia. It is of utmost importance to distinguish axial from refractive anisometropia. When the anisometropia is axial in origin, spectacle lenses constitute the treatment of choice (Knapp's law). On the contrary, when the anisometropia is refractive in origin, contact lenses represent the first choice of treatment.

- Abstract
Fifty non-strabismic children with primary anisometropia were reviewed retrospectively. At entry, patients ranged in age from 1 to 10 years with an average of 4.5 years. The follow-up ranged from 0.5 to 9 years with an average of 3.5 years. Criteria for inclusion were a difference in refractive error between the two eyes of at least 1.00 D of spherical value and/or 0.75 D of cylindrical value. In all cases, anisometropia was totally corrected by prescribing glasses. Anisometropic amblyopia was considered to be present when isoacuity at far was not reached despite the glasses, part-time occlusion therapy of the good eye was prescribed. Amblyopia was present in 86% of the patients and was found with all types of anisometropia. It was more severe in anisohyperopia and/or anisoastigmatism. After adequate treatment, amblyopia was clinically cured or less severe in 78% of the patients.
