The present study is focused on architect Honorato Carvallo Cordero and his design strategies in four projects carried out in the cities of Cuenca, Loja and Quito between 2004 to 2020; and in his catalog. For this purpose, a qualitative research approach with an analytical-exploratory analysis was used. The information was obtained mainly from secondary sources, added direct interviews with the architect, in addition field visits to the selected case studies. During the study, data was collected on modern and Cuenca architecture, as well as on the architect's trajectory and biography. In addition, the selected projects were documented and analyzed according to aspects considered by Carvallo which are highlighted in each case, which were determined according to the interviews conducted. The work shows much of the labor done by the architect, which had not been shown, being this key to confront the current negative architectural context that has been developing in certain parts of the country. Carvallo emphasizes the importance of place as a primordial aspect, using certain criteria to create projects that fulfill satisfactory with its requests and integrate with their surroundings, which has made him a reference in his field. The results show the criteria used by Honorato, whether based on conditioning factors or formal intensifiers to enhance an architectural project, which could serve as a guide and inspiration for future generations of architects.

En este proyecto, se muestra el proceso llevado a cabo para realizar la rehabilitación de un motor de dos tiempos, más concretamente el modelo wr250 de la marca sueca husqvarna y, posteriormente, compararlo con un motor fueraborda de la empresa yamaha. para ello, fue necesario desmontar gran parte del vehículo, y como para probar el motor después de la rehabilitación era necesario volver a montarlo, se aprovechó la ocasión para restaurar la mayor parte de vehículo como el chasis, los carenados, entre muchos otros que se muestran a lo largo del proyecto. a lo largo del proyecto, se explican los pasos realizados para llevar a cabo dicha rehabilitación a través de los diferentes procesos que han intervenido para llevarla a cabo desde el desmontaje del vehículo, la substitución y reparación de los elementos dañados o en mal estado que no era posible reutilizar, hasta su montaje, y previa puesta en servicio, y comprobación del motor, así como del resto del vehículo, para confirmar que sería apto para ser conducido con seguridad. además, el proyecto se acompaña junto con documentación gráfica en la que se muestran los detalles del proceso de restauración llevado a cabo en los diferentes componentes del vehículo. finalmente, se realiza una comparación de funcionamiento de un motor de estas características, con un motor fueraborda marino de similares características, para conocer en mayor profundidad cuáles son sus similitudes y cuales sus diferencias.
