Optimizing microservice placement to enhance the reliability of services is crucial for improving the service level of microservice architecture-based mobile networks and Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Despite extensive research on service reliability, the impact of network load and routing on service reliability remains understudied, leading to suboptimal models and unsatisfactory performance. To address this issue, we propose a novel network-aware service reliability model that effectively captures the correlation between network state changes and reliability. Based on this model, we formulate the microservice placement problem as an integer nonlinear programming problem, aiming to maximize service reliability. Subsequently, a service reliability-aware placement (SRP) algorithm is proposed to solve the problem efficiently. To reduce bandwidth consumption, we further discuss the microservice placement problem with the shared backup path mechanism and propose a placement algorithm based on the SRP algorithm using shared path reliability calculation, known as the SRP-S algorithm. Extensive simulations demonstrate that the SRP algorithm reduces service failures by up to 29% compared to the benchmark algorithms. By introducing the shared backup path mechanism, the SRP-S algorithm reduces bandwidth consumption by up to 62% compared to the SRP algorithm with the fully protected path mechanism. We explore the axionic dark matter search sensitivity with a narrow-band detection scheme aiming at the axion-photon conversion by the static electric field inside a cylindrical capacitor. An alternating magnetic field signal is induced by effective currents as the axion dark matter flows perpendicularly through the electric field. At low axion masses, like in a KKLT scenario, front-end narrow band filtering is provided by using LC resonance with a high $Q$ factor, which enhances the detectability of the tiny magnetic field signal and also leads to a thermal noise as the major background that can be reduced at cryogenic conditions. We demonstrate that high $g_{a\gamma}$ sensitivity can be achieved by using a strong electric field. The QCD axion theoretical parameter space can be reached with high $E\sim$ GVm$^{-1}$ field strength. The energy measurement uncertainty of circular electron positron collider (CEPC) beam must be less than $10 \mathrm{MeV}$ to accurately measure the mass of the Higgs/W/Z boson. A new microwave-beam Compton backscattering method is proposed to measure the beam energy by detecting the maximum energy of scattered photons. The uncertainty of the beam energy measurement is $6 \mathrm{MeV}$. The detection accuracy of the maximum energy of scattered photons need to reach $10^{-4}$. The high-precision gamma detectors can only be a high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector. It is a semiconductor detector, the effective detection range of the gamma energy is 100$\mathrm{keV}$-10$\mathrm{MeV}$. The maximum energy of the scattered photons is chosen to be the higher the better to reduce the influence of the synchrotron radiation background. Therefore, the maximum energy of the scattered photons is selected to be 9$\mathrm{MeV}$. Therefore, the initial photons should be microwave photons to collide with the electrons with the energy of 120GeV on CEPC. The cylindrical resonant cavity with ${TM_{010}}$ mode is selected to transmit microwaves. After Compton backscattering, the scattered photons emit from the vacuum tube of the synchrotron radiation and the energy is detected by the HPGe detector. The structure of shielding materials with polyethylene and lead is designed to minimize the background noise, such as the synchrotron radiation and the classical radiation from the electron beam in the cavity. The hole radius in the side wall of the cavity is about $1.5\mathrm{mm}$ to allow the electron beam to pass through. The computer simulation technology (CST) software shows that the influence of the hole radius on the cavity field is negligible, and the influence of the hole radius on the resonance frequency can be corrected easily., Comment: 14 pages, 11 figures

The uncertainty of the energy measurement of the electron beam on circular electron positron collider (CEPC) must be smaller than 10$\mathrm{MeV}$ to make sure the accurate measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson. In order to simplify the energy measurement system, a new method is proposed by fitting the Compton edge of the energy distribution of the gamma ray from a microwave-electron Compton scattering. With our method, the uncertainty of the energy measurement is 6$\mathrm{MeV}$ for the electron energy of $120\mathrm{GeV}$ in the Higgs mode. In this system, the energy resolution of the gamma detection needs to reach $10^{-4}$. Therefore, only the high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector can meet the critical requirement. In a head-on collision mode, the initial photons should be microwave photons with the wavelength of 3.04 centimeters. A cylindrical resonant cavity with selected ${TM_{010}}$ mode is used to transmit microwaves. After the microwave-electron Compton backscattering, the scattered photons and the synchrotron-radiation background transmit a shielding structure and then are detected by a HPGe detector at the end of the beam line of the synchrotron-radiation applications. The hole radius in the side wall of the cavity is about $1.5\mathrm{mm}$ to allow the electron beam passing through. The results of the computer simulation technology (CST) software shows that the influence of the hole radius on the cavity field is negligible. The dark photon is a new gauge boson which arises from an extra U'(1) gauge symmetry. In this paper, a novel dark photon production mechanism based on MeV-scale $\gamma$-$\gamma$ collider is considered: $\gamma \gamma \rightarrow \gamma A'$. With the aid of PACKAGE-X, differential cross section of $\gamma \gamma \rightarrow \gamma A'$ is obtained, as a function of the kinetic mixing parameter $\varepsilon$ and dark photon mass $m_{A'}$. Taking the light-by-light scattering as background, the constraints on the dark photon parameter space for different time intervals in a MeV-scale $\gamma$-$\gamma$ collider are also given.

In the current study, the authors aimed to explore the expression of LINC00996 and its clinical significance in CRC based on the data mining of Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) and the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) datasets, as well as to elucidate the functions of its potential target genes. Materials and methods: GEO and TCGA microarray datasets were used to evaluate the LINC00996 expression and its clinical significance in CRC. LINC00996 related genes were identified by Multi Experiment Matrix, RNA-Binding Protein DataBase, and The Atlas of Noncoding RNAs in Cancer. Subsequently, they were sent to gene ontology enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis. Results: LINC00996 is significantly decreased in CRC tissues compared with non-tumor tissues. Low level of LINC00996 is associated with remote metastasis and poor overall survival. However, LINC00996 has a minimal effect on gender, lymphatic invasion, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, and pathological stage. One hundred and forty-two LINC00996 related genes were identified; the results of functional analysis indicated that LINC00996 might repress tumorigenesis and metastasis via modulating the JAK-STAT, NF-κB, HIF-1, TLR, and PI3K-AKT signaling pathways. Conclusion: Our study demonstrates that decreased LINC00996 expression may be involved in colorectal carcinogenesis and metastasis, and the depletion of LINC00996 is associated with a poor outcome in CRC patients. There is great potential for host-based gene expression analysis to impact the early diagnosis of infectious diseases. In particular, the influenza pandemic of 2009 highlighted the challenges and limitations of traditional pathogen-based testing for suspected upper respiratory viral infection. We inoculated human volunteers with either influenza A (A/Brisbane/59/2007 (H1N1) or A/Wisconsin/67/2005 (H3N2)), and assayed the peripheral blood transcriptome every 8 hours for 7 days. Of 41 inoculated volunteers, 18 (44%) developed symptomatic infection. Using unbiased sparse latent factor regression analysis we generated a gene signature (or factor) for symptomatic influenza capable of detecting 94% of infected cases. This gene signature is detectable as early as 29 hours post-exposure and achieves maximal accuracy on average 43 hours (p = 0.003 H1N1) and 38 hours (p-value = 0.005, H3N2) before peak clinical symptoms. In order to test the relevance of these findings in naturally acquired disease, a composite influenza A signature built from these challenge studies was applied to Emergency Department patients where it discriminates between swine-origin influenza A/H1N1 (2009) infected and non-infected individuals with 92% accuracy.
