Abstract
A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Victoria in Canada explored the experiences and perspectives of staff members at an injectable opiate assisted clinic. The study aimed to understand how the clinic staff provided care to clients, their perspectives on the clinic program's impact, and their experiences with the program. The research utilized interpretive description, underpinned by critical social theory, and employed thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and emerging themes. The study found that the relationship between critical social theory and interpretive description enhanced the research.
