Abstract

A report from Nnamdi Azikiwe University discusses research findings on adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and the role of community pharmacists in reporting them. The study conducted interviews with 25 pharmacists in Nigeria and found that ADR reporting was low, particularly among those with less than five years of experience. The main barriers to reporting were lack of awareness and knowledge, absence of motivation, and insufficient feedback from regulatory agencies.
