FJORDS, SALMON fishing, WOLF hunting, BEAR hunting
Abstract
The article features the misty fjords of British Columbia which is known for its stark beauty and savagery. It points out that the real thrill of salmon fishing on this northwest coast lies not in the catching of the fish but in realizing that the salmon is a symbol of that country. It also describes the wildlife of the British Columbian north woods which offer a good hunting ground for wolves and bears.
