In this paper we present the conception of an application in process control. It is shown on an example, how a method using a high level user oriented language leads to this conception. A set of functional tasks is build independently thanks to a separated and external definition of the synchronization and of the data communication. They are described independently of the activation conditions and events, of the hardware used for the implementation. The description is well suited for implementation on proces sors networks.

In this paper an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Microcontroller MC68332 (Motorola) are used to control the armature current of the d-c motor with certain two limits by controlling the ON / OFF time of the D-C / D-C chopper. A simple and reliable method of the closed loop control of motor current is presented. A transient analysis of the motor current and the rotor speed are presented, also the response of the current and motor speed if the changement of the input d-c voltage has been occurred.
