In the stories we publish in this section, Senahih Kahrimanović brings fragments from memory to some striking events and characters from childhood and early youth. Back in the past, the narrator nostalgically remembers childhood in the period of Yugoslavia, at a time marked by the introducion of more modern technologies and conflict with the patriarchal way of life. The focus of storytelling in most stories is the enevts that happend within the immediate family, representing the narrow perspective of the world and the gradual discovery of the importance of collctivity whose significance becomes greater during the process of development and maturation. The stories follow boy's growing up, the realization of social phenomena, and the adoption of certain skills important for the survival of boys whitin the society. Kahrimanović's story is distinguished by the rischnes of the language reflected in the use of archeisms, localisms and toponyms characteristic for surroundings of Gračanica. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
