Search

Map matching of sparse vehicle trajectories is a fundamental problem in location-based services, such as traffic flow analysis and vehicle routing. Existing literature mainly relies on sequence-to-sequence (Seq2Seq) models to capture the intra-trajectory correlation of an input trajectory and to sequentially predict the matched road segments. Due to the limited expressive capability of sequential models, these methods fall short of extracting inter-trajectory and trajectory-road correlations as well as correlation between road segments. We present GraphMM, a graph-based approach that explicitly utilizes all aforementioned correlations. Our model exploits the graph nature of map matching and incorporates graph neural networks and conditional models to leverage both road and trajectory graph topology, while manages to align road segments and trajectories in latent space. We formally analyze the expressive power of our model in capturing various correlations and propose efficient algorithms for model training and inference. In particular, our optimization techniques dramatically reduce the computational complexity, making our model feasible on datasets with thousands of road segments. Extensive experiments show that our model significantly enhances prediction accuracy, while improving training and inference efficiency by up to an order of magnitude over both the industrial implementation of the hidden Markov model and state-of-the-art Seq2Seq-based methods.

In this paper, fluorosilsesquioxanes (F-SQs) were first synthesized by hydrolysis condensation of (3,3,3-trifluoropropyl) trimethoxysilane. Then, F-SQs were blended with ethyl cyanoacrylate (ECA) to prepare a hybrid matrix material that was coated on the surface of sponge or copper foil to rapidly form hydrophobic coatings by anionic polymerization of ECA, which were environmentally friendly, efficient, and low cost. The resulting low surface energy materials could be used for oil–water separation and metal corrosion protection. The structure composition and properties characterization of the surface of coated polyurethane (PU) sponges and copper foils were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, water contact angle, and electrochemical tests. Coated PU sponges with excellent mechanical and chemical stability exhibit superhydrophobic properties and can efficiently separate oil and water mixtures with an efficiency over 99%. Compared with bare copper foil, the coated copper foil exhibited lower corrosion current (Icorr) and higher impedance modulus (|Z|0.01 Hz) after immersing in a 3.5 wt % NaCl solution for 24 h, offering excellent anticorrosion properties. Moreover, when the exposure time of the coating in salt solution was extended to 21 days, the |Z|0.01 Hzof the coating remained approximately 10 times higher than that of the Cu matrix, demonstrating exceptional long-term corrosion resistance. This simple and environmentally friendly route to fabricate hydrophobic materials makes it possible for large-scale oil–water separation and metal corrosion protection.

Melatonin has recently been detected in fermented beverages and foods, in which microorganism metabolism is highly important. The existing literature knowledge discusses the direction for future studies in this review. Evidence shows that many species of microorganisms could synthesize melatonin. However, the actual concentrations of melatonin in fermented foods and beverages range from picograms per milliliter to nanograms per milliliter. Different types of microorganisms, different raw materials, different culture environments, the presence or absence of precursors, high or low alcohol content, and different detection methods are all possible reasons for the huge difference of melatonin levels. Thus far, there have been relatively few studies on the melatonin synthesis pathway microorganisms. Thus, referring to the synthetic pathway of plants and animals, the putative melatonin biosynthesis pathway of microorganisms is presented. It will be significant to discuss whether all species of microorganisms have the capacity to synthesize melatonin and what the biological functions of melatonin are in microorganisms. Melatonin plays a lot of important roles in microorganisms, particularly in enhancing the tolerance of environment stress. Also, the loss of melatonin concentration in commercially available fermented foods and beverages is a ubiquitous trend, and how to solve this problem is a new field to be further explored.

Background: Sjögren’s syndrome (SjS) is a rare autoimmune disease, and despite our knowledge of SjS, we still lack effective treatments. Chloroquine drugs used to treat autoimmune diseases are still the primary medicine for SjS but increase the risk of chloroquine retinopathy.Objectives: The objective of this study is to use Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) images to monitor the microvascular changes in the fundus of SjS patients after hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) treatment and the feasibility of using them as diagnostic indicators.Design: This is a retrospective observational cohort study.Methods: Twelve healthy controls (HCs group; 24 eyes), 12 SjS patients (SjS group; 24 eyes), and 12 SjS patients treated with HCQ (HCQ group; 24 eyes) were recruited. Three-dimensional OCTA images of the retina were collected, and microvascular density was calculated for each eye. OCTA image segmentation for analysis was conducted using the central wheel division method (C1–C6), hemisphere segmentation method (SR, SL, IL, and IR), and the early treatment of diabetic retinopathy study method (ETDRS) (R, S, L, and I).Results: Retinal microvascular density was significantly lower in the SjS patients compared to the HCs group (p< 0.05) and much lower in the HCQ group compared to the SjS patients (p< 0.05). The SjS and HCQ groups differed in the I, R, SR, IL, and IR regions in the superficial and deep retina and the S region in the superficial retina. The ROC curves of the relationship between the HCs and SjS groups and between the SjS and HCQ groups demonstrated good classification accuracy.Conclusion: HCQ may contribute significantly to the microvascular alteration in SjS. Microvascular alteration is a potential marker with adjunctive diagnostic value. The MIR and the OCTA images of I, IR, and C1 regions showed high accuracy in minoring the alteration.

The 2016 guideline on the work-up of primary aldosteronism recommended that patients with obstructive sleep apnea–hypopnea syndrome (OSAS) be screened. This study aimed to identify the clinical characteristics of snoring patients with primary aldosteronism (PA) complicated by OSAS. Sixty-eight self-reported or witnessed snoring patients and 609 non-snoring patients diagnosed with PA between 2010 and 2015 were recruited in this retrospective study. Compared to non-snoring patients, snoring patients had significantly (P< 0.05) higher body mass index (BMI), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and serum and urinary sodium, as well as lower estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Moreover, snoring patients exhibited significantly (P< 0.01) higher plasma renin activity levels and lower plasma aldosterone levels and aldosterone-to-renin activity ratios (ARRs) than patients with PA alone. When age, sex, duration of hypertension, and BMI were matched between groups, snoring patients still showed significantly (P< 0.05) higher plasma renin activity, serum and urinary sodium, and lower ARR and eGFR than those in the PA-only group. All 68 snoring patients underwent polysomnography, with 7 having mild (apnea–hypopnea index (AHI) ≥ 5 and <15), 21 moderate (AHI ≥ 15 and <30), and 40 severe (AHI ≥ 30) OSAS. The BMI of patients with OSAS was negatively correlated with the lowest SaO2(r= −0.318, P= 0.018) but not with the AHI. In conclusion, snoring patients with PA tend to have increased BMI and DBP, as well as decreased eGFR and ARR. Snoring patients with PA had higher prevalence of moderate-to-severe OSAS.

Visible-light-induced decarboxylative sulfonylation of cinnamic acids with aryl sulfonate phenol esters enabled by the electron donor–acceptor complex is developed. The method offers a mild and green approach for the synthesis of vinyl sulfones with excellent functional group compatibility under photocatalyst and oxidant-free conditions.

Perovskite photovoltaics has achieved rapid development largely due to the spin-coating technique with antisolvent steps at laboratory scale. However, the spin-coating/antisolvent technique limits the device dimension due to film uniformity issues. Up to now, it has been challenging to obtain perovskite devices with high efficiency (e.g., >20%) using scalable methods without antisolvent steps. Herein, an air-blading process is demonstrated to assemble the entire perovskite devices completely free from the spin-coating techniques. This method can coat perovskite precursor on substrates and simultaneously induce nucleation in perovskite intermediate films without any antisolvent steps, leading to highly uniform films. The fully air-bladed perovskite photovoltaics shows the best efficiency (reverse scanning) of >20% for 0.09 cm2illumination-exposure area and the best efficiency of >19% for 1.0 cm2illumination-exposure area with high reproducibility (stabilized efficiencies are 19.3% and 18.2%, respectively). Such an air-blading process offers a wide processing window for versatile high-performance perovskite optoelectronics toward large-scale production.

All-inorganic lead halide perovskites demonstrate improved thermal stability over the organic–inorganic halide perovskites, but the cubic α-CsPbI3with the most appropriate bandgap for light harvesting is not structurally stable at room temperature and spontaneously transforms into the undesired orthorhombic δ-CsPbI3. Here, we present a new member of black-phase thin films of all-inorganic perovskites for high-efficiency photovoltaics, the orthorhombic γ-CsPbI3thin films with intrinsic thermodynamic stability and ideal electronic structure. Exempt from introducing organic ligands or incorporating mixed cations/anions into the crystal lattice, we stabilize the γ-CsPbI3thin films by a simple solution process in which a small amount of H2O manipulates the size-dependent phase formation through a proton transfer reaction. Theoretical calculations coupled with experiments show that γ-CsPbI3with a lower surface free energy becomes thermodynamically preferred over δ-CsPbI3at surface areas greater than 8600 m2/mol and exhibits comparable optoelectronic properties to α-CsPbI3. Consequently, γ-CsPbI3-based solar cells display a highly reproducible efficiency of 11.3%, among the highest records for CsPbI3thin-film solar cells, with robust stability in ambient atmosphere for months and continuous operating conditions for hours. Our study provides a novel and fundamental perspective to overcome the Achilles’ heel of the inorganic lead iodide perovskite and opens it up for high-performance optoelectronic devices.

Despite the recent surge of interest in inorganic lead halide perovskite nanocrystals, there are still significant gaps in their stability disturbance and the understanding of their destabilization, assembly, and growth processes. Here, we discover that polar solvent molecules can induce the lattice distortion of ligand-stabilized cubic CsPbI3, leading to the phase transition into orthorhombic phase, which is unfavorable for photovoltaic applications. Such lattice distortion triggers the dipole moment on CsPbI3nanocubes, which subsequently initiates the hierarchical self-assembly of CsPbI3nanocubes into single-crystalline nanowires. The systematic investigations and in situ monitoring on the kinetics of the self-assembly process disclose that the more amount or the stronger polarity of solvent can induce the more rapid self-assembly and phase transition. These results not only elucidate the destabilization mechanism of cubic CsPbI3nanocrystals, but also open up opportunities to synthesize and store cubic CsPbI3for their practical applications in photovoltaics and optoelectronics.

Microarchitectural timing channels expose hidden hardware states though timing. We survey recent attacks that exploit microarchitectural features in shared hardware, especially as they are relevant for cloud computing. We classify types of attacks according to a taxonomy of the shared resources leveraged for such attacks. Moreover, we take a detailed look at attacks used against shared caches. We survey existing countermeasures. We finally discuss trends in attacks, challenges to combating them, and future directions, especially with respect to hardware support.

As the pillar industry of China’s national economy, the service industry has always experienced a lag in structural upgrading. As an important measure of China’s institutional innovation, China’s Free Trade Zone (FTZ) policy is of great significance for promoting the development of the service industry. Based on the panel data of 185 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2019, this paper empirically tests the impact of the FTZ policy on the upgrading of service industry structure by using the progressive difference-in-differences model. The results show that the FTZ policy can promote the upgrading of service industry structure, and the effect is enhanced with the extension of time. The heterogeneity test shows that the impact of the FTZ policy on the structural upgrading of the service industry is mainly reflected in promoting the development of the information service industry as well as the leasing and business service industry. The transmission mechanism test shows that the FTZ policy can promote the structural upgrading of the service industry by improving the level of trade facilitation and investment facilitation.

Grain boundaries (GBs) play an important role in organic–inorganic halide perovskite solar cells, which have generally been recognized as a new class of materials for photovoltaic applications. To definitely understand the electrical structure and behavior of GBs, here we present Kelvin probe force microscopy and conductive atomic force microscopy (c-AFM) measurements of both typical and inverted planar organolead halide perovskite solar cells. By comparing the contact potential difference (CPD) of these two devices in the dark and under illumination, we found that a downward band bending exists in GBs that predominantly attract photoinduced electrons. The c-AFM measurements observed that higher photocurrents flow through GBs when a low bias overcomes the barrier created by the band bending, indicating that GBs act as effective charge dissociation interfaces and photocurrent transduction pathways rather than recombination sites.

To acquire candidate non-Saccharomycesstrains for preparation of high-quality Vidal icewine, 11 representative indigenous non-Saccharomycesstrains were selected for analyzing their production of organic acids, phenolic compounds, aroma-active compounds and evaluating their sensory profile in Vidal juice. The results showed that the contents of organic acids in the wines were controlled and balanced well by the non-Saccharomycesstrains as well as polyphenol concentrations were well improved during the fermentation. The strains differed from each other in their ability to produce aroma compounds, causing diversity and complexity of aroma characteristics in wine. Fermentation by Saccharomycopsis crataegensisYC30 (Sc) and Hanseniaspora uvarumQTX22 (Hu) could enhance the sweet and floral notes in Vidal icewine, especially Sc, which has never been reported before. It can not only enrich the aroma categories, but also increase the content of δ-decalactone, γ-decalactone, ethyl isobutyrate, ethyl butyrate, phenethyl acetic acid, etc. The evaluation and optimization of non-Saccharomycesyeast strains could provide theoretical basis for the improvement of ice wine quality, and supply new ideas and strategies for the brewing of ice wine.

Among the issues that restrict the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of quantum-dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs), insufficient catalytic activity and stability of counter electrodes (CEs) are critical but challenging ones. The state-of-the-art Cu/Cu2S CEs still suffer from mechanical instability and uncertainty due to the reaction of copper and electrolyte. Herein, ITO@Cu2S core–shell nanowire arrays were developed to fabricate CEs for QDSSCs, which have no such issues in Cu/Cu2S CEs. These nanowire arrays exhibited small charge transfer resistance and sheet resistance, and provided more active catalytic sites and easy accessibility for electrolyte due to the three-dimensional structure upon use as CEs. More interestingly, it was found that the interface of ITO/Cu2S significantly affected the performance of ITO@Cu2S nanowire array CEs. By varying synthetic methods, a series of ITO@Cu2S nanowire arrays were prepared to investigate the influence of ITO/Cu2S interface on their performance. The results showed that ITO@Cu2S nanowire array CEs with a continuous Cu2S nanocrystal shell fabricated via an improved cation exchange route exhibited excellent and thickness-dependent performance. The PCE of corresponding QDSSCs increased by 11.6 and 16.5% compared to that with the discrete Cu2S nanocrystal and the classic Cu/Cu2S CE, respectively, indicating its promising potential as a new type of CE for QDSSCs.

In the last few years, in order to solve the problems of traditional delivery mode in construction industry, such as over budget, project delay and so on, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) as an effective solution has become a hot spot in China and abroad. IPD with special implementation of process has many advantages compared with the traditional delivery mode. In this paper, the modeling strategy of BIM in IPD project is proposed, and the application of BIM in all stages of IPD on basis of engineering project is analyzed. The study provides foundation for the further collaboration application of IPD with BIM.

The paper proposes an automatic modulation recognition scheme based on instantaneous features of intercepted signals. The modulation classifier can discriminate modulations such as Amplitude Modulation (AM), Double Side Band (DSB), Single Side Band (SSB), Frequency Modulation (FM), M-ary Amplitude Shift Keying (M-ASK), M-ary Frequency Shift Keying (M-FSK), M-ary Phase Shift Keying (M-PSK) and M-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (M-QAM) without any prior information. The scheme is with simple structure, computationally simpler, and suitable for real-time processing. And the recognition parameters are anti-noise, and insensitive to frequency offset, phase offset and timing error. To evaluate the performance of the scheme, several experiments with signals in Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel were carried out in the MATLAB by varying the values of both the main modulation parameters and the signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). The results show that the approach can achieve high recognition accuracy even at low SNR.

With the extensive use of embedded mobile terminal in everyday life, embedded terminals are getting more and more powerful,but there is no significant improvement in shock proof and use protection.The paper introduces an implementation method of embedded mobile terminal shockproof device based on LPC2478. The device has wifi communication,multi-channel sampling, real-time measurement for temperature, humidity, horizontal and vertical conditions.It measures the device distances with other objects and triaxial acceleration to achieve parametric statistical analysis and diagnostics. Its characteristics of multipoint direction identification shock proof, wireless self-synchronous firmware upgrade and power management based on users’ action mode identification provide good protection for mobile terminal products, achieving the target of shockproof.

Every day, millions of users interact, collaborate, and form relationships with each other through avatars in online environments known as Massively Multi-User Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). These online environments offer tantalizing glimpses of how millions of avatars interact on a daily basis outside of a laboratory setting and what users derive from that experience. In this paper, the demographics, motivations, experiences among Chinese MMORPG Players will be presented, analyzed and discussed.

Background: The outcomes of patients with postmenopausal breast cancer(PBC) can be improved through the early detection of intraocular metastases(IOMs). In this study, we investigated patients with PBC, and compared those with IOMs with those with non-intraocular metastases(NIOMs) in terms of blood lipid levels, and then differentiated the risk factors associated with IOMs.Methods: Student’s t-test and a chi-square test were used to discriminate between the IOMs and NIOMs groups. After establishing a Poisson regression model to analyze risk factors, we plotted receiver operating characteristic curves(ROC) to assess the quality of risk factors predicting IOMs.Results: The incidence of IOMs in PBC was 1.16%. There was no significant difference in terms of histopathology between the 2 groups. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), apolipoprotein A1(APOA1) and low-density lipoprotein(LDL) in IOMs were significantly lower than in NIOMs groups. Poisson regression suggested that low levels of APOA1 and LDL were risk factors for IOMs (P = 0.002 and P < 0.001, respectively). ROC curve analysis demonstrated that the cut-off values of APOA1 and LDL were 1.025 g/L and 2.415 mmol/L. The highest prediction accuracy for IOMs involved the combination of APOA1 and LDL (AUC = 0.881, P < 0.001).Conclusion: Our research demonstrates that low levels of APOA1 and LDL efficiently predict IOMs in PBC as risk factors, and the combination of APOA1 and LDL was more predictive than single factors.

The numerical solution for a kind of third-order boundary value problems is discussed. With the barycentric rational interpolation collocation method, the matrix form of the third-order two-point boundary value problem is obtained, and the convergence and error analysis are obtained. In addition, some numerical examples are reported to confirm the theoretical analysis.

The shelf life using the microbial safety, nutritional and sensory characteristics of non-industrial fresh mango juice (NFMJ) was measured. NFMJ could be safely drunk within 8, 4 and 2 h when stored at 4, 25 and 37°C, respectively, according to the microbial safety index. Moreover, NFMJ had good quality within 2 h, and was just acceptable quality within 4 h when stored at 4 or 25°C based on nutritional and sensory characteristics. An E-nose and GC-MS could effectively distinguish and identify the changes in the volatile compounds in NFMJ with different storage conditions. Using the changing trends of microbial safe, nutritional and sensory qualities to predict the shelf life of fresh juice was not only feasible to evaluate the shelf life of NFMJ, but also might be used in the shelf life evaluation of other fresh juices.

Linear barycentric rational method for solving two-point boundary value equations is presented. The matrix form of the collocation method is also obtained. With the help of the convergence rate of the interpolation, the convergence rate of linear barycentric rational collocation method for solving two-point boundary value problems is proved. Several numerical examples are provided to validate the theoretical analysis.

The Mariana Trench is the deepest part of Earth's surface, with a maximum depth of close to 11,000 m in the Challenger Deep. Great progress has been made in studying the trench in the past years; however, several basic issues regarding the sedimentology and geochronology of the abyssal surficial sediments in the trench remain unclear. In this study, two gravity cores of Plio‐Pleistocene sediments were retrieved from the southern slope of the Mariana Trench. They were used for an integrated investigation of magnetostratigraphy, authigenic 10Be/9Be dating, and element manganese content. The principal results are as follows. (1) Ten magnetozones are recognized for Core A25, which can be correlated to the geomagnetic polarity time scale from Chrons C1n to C3r. (2) The paleomagnetic and 10Be/9Be‐based ages agree well for both of the two cores, yielding a continuous depositional hiatus since the middle Pleistocene (0.63–0.74 Ma). (3) The sediment accumulation rates prior to ~1.3 Ma are 35–83 cm/Myr and then increased substantially to 167–200 cm/Myr. Based on these results, a sedimentary transition at ~1.3–1.2 Ma is confirmed, which can be potentially correlated to climatic, oceanic, and tectonic changes in the Mid‐Pleistocene transition. In addition, an elemental Mn proxy is derived to reflect changes in bottom‐water ventilation, which is consistent with Lower Circumpolar Deep Water and North Atlantic Deep Water on glacial‐interglacial time scales. We conclude that the sedimentary record of the Mariana Trench provides a unique window for investigating the integrated effects of long‐term climatic, oceanic, and tectonic processes. Surface ages of 0.63–0.74 Ma likely reflect a continuous depositional hiatus since the middle Pleistocene in the trenchA sedimentary transition in the trench at ~1.3–1.2 Ma can potentially be correlated to the Mid‐Pleistocene climatic transitionThe sedimentary record provides a unique window for the integrated effects of long‐term climatic, oceanic, and tectonic processes

Purpose: In this study, we aimed to investigate the differences in the intrinsic functional connectivity (iFC) of the primary visual cortex (V1), based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), between patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) and healthy controls (HCs).Methods: In total, 26 patients (12 males, 14 females) with PDR and 26 HCs (12 males, 14 females), matched for sex, age, and education status, were enrolled in the study. All individuals underwent rs-fMRI scans. We acquired iFC maps and compared the differences between PDR patients and the HCs.Results: The PDR group had significantly increased FC between the left V1 and the right middle frontal gyrus (RMFG), and significantly reduced FC between the left V1 and the cuneus/calcarine/precuneus. In addition, the PDR patients had significantly increased FC between the right V1 and the right superior frontal gyrus (RSFG), and significantly reduced FC between the right V1 and the cuneus/calcarine/precuneus. The individual areas under the curve (AUCs) of FC values for the left V1 were as follows: RMFG (0.871, p< 0.001) and the cuneus/calcarine/precuneus (0.914, p< 0.001), while the AUCs of FC values for the right V1 were as follows: RSFG (0.895, p< 0.001) and the cuneus/calcarine/precuneus (0.918, p< 0.001).Conclusions: The results demonstrated that, in PDR patients, altered iFC in distinct brain regions, including regions related to visual information processing and cognition. Considering the rise in the diabetes mellitus incidence rate and the consequences of PDR, the results could provide promising clues for exploring the neural mechanisms related to PDR and possible approaches for the early identification of PDR.
