The elastic scattering angular distribution (AD) for the 15N + 11B system at Elab(15N) = 22.5 MeV has been measured at the DC-60 cyclotron located at INP RK. In addition to our newly measured data, we have reanalyzed the previously measured 15N + 11B cross sections at Elab= 43 MeV using a range of phenomenological and microscopic potentials. The measured AD at 22.5 MeV did not exhibit a significant increase in differential cross sections (DCs) at backward angles (θ > 90°), similar to the previously measured data at Elab= 18.75 MeV and contrary to the measured data at 43 MeV. The measured DC data at backward angles are fairly described using the distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) method. The α-spectroscopic amplitude (SA) for the 15N → 11B + αconfiguration was extracted and compared to the available one in the literature.

The elastic scattering angular distributions for 16O + 12C nuclear system have been analyzed using double folding potential of different interaction models: CDM3Y1, CDM3Y6, DDM3Y1 and BDM3Y1. We have extracted the renormalization factor Nrfor the different concerned interaction models. Potential created by BDM3Y1 model of interaction has the shallowest depth which reflects the necessity to use higher renormalization factor. The experimental angular distributions for 16O + 12C nuclear system in the energy range 115.9–230 MeV exhibited unmistakable refractive features and rainbow phenomenon.

New experimental measurements for 16O + 12C elastic scattering angular distribution at Elab= 27 MeV were performed at the cyclotron DC-60 INP RK. The measured data as well as the previous measurements for 16O + 12C angular distributions in the energy range Elab= 20–140 MeV are subjected to detailed analysis using the double folding optical potential. For this purpose, different models of interaction potentials are used, such as the BDM3Y1-Reid and the CDM3Y1-Paris based on the M3Y interactions. The new B3Y-Fetal potentials are also tested, and the efficiency of the DDB3Y1-Fetal interaction to increase the saturation properties of cold nuclear matter was studied in comparison with the well-known BDM3Y1-Reid and CDM3Y1-Paris interactions.

In this study, the available 6Li + 58Ni angular distributions in the energy range 9.9–600 MeV are reanalyzed theoretically within the framework of various interaction potentials based on both phenomenological and microscopic approaches. The well-known cluster structure of 6Li as a core of α-particle and a deuteron revolving around this core was observed and considered for generating the 6Li + 58Ni cluster folding potential. At all energies, the analyses performed within the framework of the considered potentials gave reasonable fits of data. The performed cluster folding analysis showed the necessity to reduce the potential’s strength by ~ 50–53% for describing the data fairly. The observed reduction in the strength of microscopic potential is mainly due to the dissociation of 6Li in the field of the target nucleus and consequently the high 6Li clusterization probability. The data has been also successfully reanalyzed using unrenormalized real São Paulo potential.
