Abstract

A study was conducted to examine the ministerial leadership interplaying uniquely between the Korean president and career civil servants in the country. Five different leadership orientations are presented. Findings indicate that the strategic-transformational and external-transformational forms of leadership are the primary determinants of Korean ministers' performance.
