The article discusses fly management program conducted by Japan Pest Control Association in two cities of Japan impacted by the tsunami, Kesennuma and Rikuzentakata from June to December 2011 and mention efforts during the program along with integrated pest management principles. It discusses species of flies from 13 families were trapped which include Blowflies, Housefly and Phormia regina. It also mentions help from Nippon International Cooperation for Community Development in the program.
