Heligmosomoides neopolygyrus, Asakawa and Ohbayashi, 1986 (Nematoda, Heligmosomoidea) is redescribed from Apodemus peninsulaefrom Rangtang, Sichuan, China. A morphological review of the Heligmosomoidesspp. belonging to the “polygyrusline” proposed by Asakawa (1988) is made using new characters. This enabled us to distinguish two subspecies in Mus musculus(Heligmosomoides polygyrus bakerifrom Japan and H. p. polygyrusfrom China) and two valid species in Apodemusspp. (H. neopolygyrusfrom Japan [in A. peninsulae] and from China [in A. agrarius] and H. asakawaefrom China [in A. uralensis]). Three parasite species of A. agrariusand A. peninsulae, previously identified by Asakawa et al.(1993) as H. neopolygyrus, are considered to be Heligmosomoides incertae sedis. This is the first report of H. neopolygyrusin A. peninsulaefrom China.

Heligmosomoides craigin. sp. (Nematoda: Heligmosomoidea) is described from Microtus limnophilusBüchner, 1889 (Rodentia: Cricetidae) from Rangtang, Sichuan, China. It is related to H. protobullosusAsakawa, 1987 and H. longispiculumTokobaev & Erkulov, 1966 both parasites of Microtusspp. from Japan and USSR, respectively by the following features: a ratio of spicule length/body length of more than 45% and rays 9 shorter than rays 10. The new species is differentiated by rays 8 being closed to rays 6 and 19-22 cuticular ridges versus14 in H. protobullosus(synlophe not described in H. longispiculum). H. longicirratus(Schulz, 1954) also a parasite of Microtussp. from the USSR is the most closely related species based on the number of cuticular ridges (20) and the ratio of spicule length/body length (48% versus50%). There are no illustrations of this species and the female has not been described; for that reason, it is not possible to compare it accurately with our specimens.

This paper deals with the numerical solution and validation of a reactive flow model dedicated to the study of spherical explosions with an aluminized energetic material. Situations related to air blast as well as underwater explosions are examined. Such situations involve multiscale phenomena associated with the detonation reaction zone, the aluminium reaction zone, the shock propagation distance and the bubble oscillation period. A detonation tracking method is developed in order to avoid the detonation structure computation. An ALE formulation is combined to the detonation tracking method in order to solve the material interface between detonation products and the environment as well as shock propagation. The model and the algorithm are then validated over a wide range of spherical explosions involving several types of explosives, both in air and liquid water environment. Large-scale experiments have been done in order to determine the blast wave effects with explosive compositions of variable aluminium content. In all situations the agreement between computed and experimental results is very good.
