A Triple Friction Pendulum (TFP) base-isolated building is designed to reduce displacement during an earthquake. However, the appropriate torsional response of multi-storey RCC buildings under stochastic ground motion is still unclear. This paper proposes a new mathematical model to study the torsional response of a TFP base-isolated RCC building subjected to stochastic ground motions. Stochastic ground motions are generated by the Monte Carlo simulation technique. The study examines the torsional response of the base-isolated building through base eccentricity (eb/d), super-structure eccentricity (es/d), uncoupled torsional to lateral frequency ratio of super-structure (Ωs), uncoupled torsional to the lateral frequency of isolator (Ωb) and base shear. The displacement attained as a result of eccentricity is compared with the design-bearing displacement recommended by the China Building Code (GB-2005). The study reveals that the torsion caused by eccentricities significantly influences the torsional behaviour of base-isolated buildings. The TFP base-isolated building with Ωs> 1 is torsionally more stable and potential displacement is not more complex by increasing the value of eb/d. In contrast, the building with Ωs< 1 is torsionally elastic and potential displacement becomes more complex by increasing the value of eb/d. The effect of superstructure eccentricity decreases almost linearly when isolation eccentricities take place. As the time of the superstructure increases, the torsional response of the building also increases. The study concludes that the GB-2005 Standard's design isolator displacement is traditional for the isolation eccentricities.

Tau protein is implicated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other tauopathies, but its physiological function is in debate. Mostly explored in the brain, tau is also expressed in the pancreas. We further explored the mechanism of tau’s involvement in the regulation of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS) in islet β-cells, and established a potential relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and AD. We demonstrate that pancreatic tau is crucial for insulin secretion regulation and glucose homeostasis. Tau levels were found to be elevated in β-islet cells of patients with T2DM, and loss of tau enhanced insulin secretion in cell lines, drosophila, and mice. Pharmacological or genetic suppression of tau in the db/dbdiabetic mouse model normalized glucose levels by promoting insulin secretion and was recapitulated by pharmacological inhibition of microtubule assembly. Clinical studies further showed that serum tau protein was positively correlated with blood glucose levels in healthy controls, which was lost in AD. These findings present tau as a common therapeutic target between AD and T2DM.

Identity-based proxy re-encryption (IB-PRE) can convert the ciphertext encrypted under Alice’s identity to Bob’s ciphertext of the same message by a semi-trusted proxy with the proper transformation key. The main purpose of our work is to enhance the security of IB-PRE. For outside attacks, all existing IB-PRE constructions from lattices have only achieved a limited or weak security model called IND-sID-CPA security. Therefore, by embedding re-encryption key generation and re-encryption algorithms appropriately in Agrawal et al.’s identity-based encryption scheme from lattices, we construct an IND-ID-CPA secure IB-PRE scheme over decisional learning with errors (LWE) under the standard model. For inside attacks, we propose a new primitive IB-VPRE by extending the basic IB-PRE scheme with a new functionality called re-encryption verifiability, meaning that a re-encrypted ciphertext receiver or a third party can verify whether the received ciphertext is correctly transformed from an original ciphertext or not, and thus can detect illegal activities of the proxy. We realize re-encryption verifiability using the homomorphic signature technique as a black box, making the resulting scheme non-interactive and quantum-immune after instanced by a lattice-based homomorphic signature scheme.

An asymptotic analysis of hierarchial production planning in a manufacturing system with two tandem machines subject to breakdown and repair revealed that a heuristic model is required to compute for the rate of machine breakdown and repair. The stochastic machine capacity was substituted by the equilibrium mean capacity, producing a limited problem. The solution to the original stochastic problem was derived from the solution to the limiting deterministic problem.

ABSTRACTApplied a non-radical non-oriented Slack Based Measure (SBM) model of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to measure the linkage efficiency between the two sectors from 2009 to 2016. The paper analyzes the current situation of manufacturing and logistics efficiency, presents a way to improve the linkage efficiency of manufacturing and logistics industry, and using Tobit regression to analyze the environmental factors that affect the linkage efficiency. The results show that: Totality, the two industries in the three northeast provinces show a steady development trend in the period from 2009 to 2016, but the development of the two industries in northeast China is still insufficient. Unexpected pollutant output is the main reason for the decline of manufacturing efficiency in the regions. The redundancy of input factors is the main reason that affects the efficiency decline of the logistics industry. The results of Tobit regression analysis show that the investment of science and technology and opening to the outside world have a positive influence on the efficiency of the two industries, and government consumption has a negative effect on the efficiency of the two industries. This is to correctly understand and grasp the status of two industry linkage development in three northeast provinces. And it provides a certain basis for the development policy of the two-industry linkage development.Implications: Due to the availability of data, reference to the relevant achievements of the research on the linkage between manufacturing industry and logistics industry. The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as supernovae. Lunar samples retain valuable information from these events, via detectable long-lived “fingerprint” radionuclides such as 60Fe. In this work, we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) method for detecting 60Feusing the HI-13 tandem accelerator at the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE). Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph, a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of ±60kVand a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide 60Fe. A 1μmthick Si3N4foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy degrader. For particle detection, a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the spectrograph. Finally, an 60Fesample with an abundance of 1.125×10-10was used to test the new AMS system. These results indicate that 60Fecan be clearly distinguished from the isobar 60Ni. The sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10-14based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8h, and the sensitivity could, in principle, be expected to be approximately 2.5×10-15when the data were accumulated for 100 h, which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

In this paper, microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ61 magnesium alloys with the Y and Ca combined addition were investigated. The results exhibit that the addition of Y and Ca into AZ61 alloy leads to effective refinement of the microstructure and additional block-like Al2Y and long-rod Al2Ca phases found in AZ61–1.2Y alloy and AZ61–1.2Y–1.0Ca alloy, respectively. The tensile strength, elongation and creep properties of AZ61–Y–Ca alloy are significantly increased by the addition of Y and Ca. The tensile strength of AZ61–1.2Y–1.0Ca alloy at 20 and 175 °C is up to 225 and 175 MPa, and compared with AZ61 alloy, the strengths of the alloy are enhanced by 37 and 80%, respectively. AZ61–1.2Y–1.0Ca alloy achieves the lowest steady creep rate 2.5027 × 10−7s−1that is about 4 times lower than that of AZ61 alloy. The poor mechanical properties of AZ61 magnesium alloy is attributed to the softening of β-phase Mg17Al12, especially at elevated temperature. The tensile strength and creep resistance of AZ61–1.2Y–1.0Ca alloy are effectively improved by the Al2Ca and Al2Y phases.

Elemental calcium plays an important role in human physiology. In order to study the relationship between Ca-intake, Ca-chemical formulation, and Ca-absorptivity, a balance experiment using a 41Ca tracer technique in SD rats was conducted to measure the endogenous fecal calcium and true absorption of calcium. Apparent absorption of calcium was measured as a control to the endogenous calcium labeling experiment. These results show that by using 41Ca labeled endogenous calcium in vivo, researchers could obtain the true calcium absorption data without extrinsic labeling. Therefore, the method was not affected by the chemical structure or type of calcium supplement and might be used in evaluating the absorptivity of marketed calcium supplements.

The reachability problem of synchronizing transitions bounded Petri net systems (BPNSs) is investigated in this paper by constructing a mathematical model for dynamics of BPNS. Using the semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices, the dynamics of BPNSs, which can be viewed as a combination of several small bounded subnets via synchronizing transitions, are described by an algebraic equation. When the algebraic form for its dynamics is established, we can present a necessary and sufficient condition for the reachability between any marking (or state) and initial marking. Also, we give a corresponding algorithm to calculate all of the transition paths between initial marking and any target marking. Finally, an example is shown to illustrate proposed results. The key advantage of our approach, in which the set of reachable markings of BPNSs can be expressed by the set of reachable markings of subnets such that the big reachability set of BPNSs do not need generate, is partly avoid the state explosion problem of Petri nets (PNs).

The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a corn straw or mixed diet on milk production, milk composition and the expression of genes associated with lactation in mid-lactation Chinese Holstein cows. In this study, 10 healthy Chinese Holstein cows were randomly assigned to two groups and fed with different diets respectively, corn straw (CS) or mixed forage (MF) diet. CS group was fed roughage consisting of 53.8% corn straw only and the forge to concentrate (F : C) ratio [dry matter (DM)] was about 40: 60. MF group was fed roughage consisting of 3.7% Chinese wildrye and 23.4% alfalfa hay, the forge to concentrate (F : C) ratio (DM) was 70: 30. All the cows were fed 8 weeks and body weight, dry matter intake, body condition score, fat, protein, lactose, milk yield, total solid and somatic cell count (SCC) were recorded. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was used to analyze cow mammary gland samples representing two different diets. The results suggested that different diet types had significant effects on milk yield, lactose, milk fat, milk protein, dry matter intake and somatic cell count in dairy cows, and cows fed MF diet improved milk production and lactation performance clearly (P<0.05). In addition, mRNA expression of genes ACC, mTOR, STAT5, CSN2, PPARγ, FABP3 and PTENin MF group was extremely significantly higher than that in CS group (P<0.05). mRNA expression of AKT1, FAS, SCDand SREBP1cin MF group was significantly higher than that in CS group (P<0.01). In summary, the milk yield and composition in mixed forage group were significantly improved than those in corn straw group.

The lactating mammary gland is a prodigious protein-producing factory, but the milk protein synthesis mechanisms are not well understood. The major objective of this paper was to elucidate which genes and pathways were involved in the regulation of milk protein synthesis in the dairy goat mammary gland. Total 36 primiparous Guanzhong dairy goats were allotted in 12 groups according to their mammary development stages: days 90 and 150 of virgin, days 30, 90, and 150 of pregnancy, days 1, 10, 35, and 60 of lactation and days 3, 7, and 21 of involution (three animals per group). Mammary tissue RNA was isolated for quantitative real-time RT-PCR of four casein genes alpha-s1 casein (CSN1S1), alpha-s2 casein (CSN1S2), beta-casein (CSN2) and casein kappa (CSN3), four whey protein genes lactoglobulin (LGB), lactalbumin (LALBA), lactofarrin (LTF), and Whey acidic protein (WAP) and the genes which were potentially to regulate dairy goat milk protein synthesis at the level of transcription or translation [prolactin receptor (PRLR), AKT1, signal transducers and activators of transcription 5 (STAT5), E74-Like Factor 5 (ELF5), eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E binding protein 1 (EIF4E-BP1), S6kinase (S6K) and caveolin 1]. The results showed that all genes were up-regulated in lactation period. The expressions of PRLR, AKT1, STAT5, ELF5, and S6K were similar to mRNA expressions of milk proteins. Our results indicated that milk protein synthesis in dairy goat mammary gland was possibly regulated by these genes.

This paper expounds the double closed-loop control configuration which is composed by the AC inner current control loop and the DC outer current loop of the CSR PWM rectifier ,and the functions of the inner current loop and the outer current control loop are pointed out. To improve the control performance ,a current controller whose DC outer current loop is designed by the fuzzy algorithm is used. The DC outer current loop error fuzzy variable E’s membership functions is researched ,and also the Rate of change of the current error fuzzy variable EC and the fuzzy variable Δi which is exported by fuzzy controller. Their influences to the control performance are considered. After the simulation experiments, it shows that the DC outer current loop fuzzy control is feasible and effective. The performance of the outer current control loop can be improved.

Within the framework of the perturbative QCD approach, we study the two-body charmless decays B → K1(1270)(K1(1400))p(K). We find the following results: (i) The decays B0 → K1(1270)+p-, K1(1400)+p- are incompatible with the present experimental data. There exists a similar situation for the decays B0 → a1(1260)+K-, b1(1235)+K-, which are usually considered that the nonperturbative contributions are needed to explain the data. But the difference is that the nonperturbative contributions seem to play opposite roles in these two groups of decays. (ii) The pure annihilation type decays B0 → K1±(1270)K∓, K1±(1400)K∓ are good channels to test whether an approach can be used to calculate correctly the strength of the penguin-annihilation amplitudes. Their branching ratios are predicted at 10-7 order, which are larger than the QCDF results. Calcium silicate (CS) is a main component of Portland cement and is responsible for the strength development. Recent research has shown that dicalcium silicate cement (CSC) is bioactive and is a potential candidate for bone replacement. Traditionally, dicalcium silicate powder is synthesized by a solid state reaction or a sol-gel method. The solid-state reaction, however, usually needs a higher temperature and a longer calcination time. Furthermore, the dicalcium silicate powder made by the sol-gel method is not pure, and contains a significant quantity of CaO which is harmful to the strength and biological properties of the CSC. The Pechini technique is an alternative, low temperature polymeric precursor route for synthesis of high purity powders. In this study, purer CS powder was synthesized via the Pechini method by calcination at 800°C for 3h. DSC-TGA, XRD, SEM were used for characterization of CS powder and the hydrated cement. The DSC-TGA curves showed that the main exothermic peak was at 479°C and the total mass loss was 79.2%. The XRD patterns of CSC after hydration for 7, 14, and 35 days illustrated that dicalcium silicate hydrate (Ca1.5SiO3.5·xH2O, C-S-H) was formed in the hardened CS paste. The XRD peaks on the diffraction pattern of the C-S-H of the day 35 sample were of greater intensity than those at day 7 and day 14. This demonstrates that the hydration speed was slow and complete hydration could take more than one month. Flake-like crystals were observed on scanning electron micrographs following hardening. The degradation study result showed that there was no mass loss of CSC after the samples were soaked into phosphate buffered saline (PBS) for 40 days. The silicon assay revealed that orthosilicic acid could be released from CSC after the samples were soaked in simulated body fluid (SBF). Silicon is known to be critical to skeletal mineralization. The existence of silicon may stimulate the proliferation of bone and activate cells to produce bone. Investigation of cell attachment confirmed that the MC-3T3 cells attached well to the surfaces of CSC after seeding.

The transmission spectrum of two dipole-coupled atoms interacting with a single-mode optical cavity in the strong coupling regime is investigated theoretically for the lower and higher excitation cases. The dressed states containing the dipole-dipole interaction (DDI) are obtained by transforming the two-atom system into an effective single-atom system. We find that the DDI can enhance the effects resulting from the positive atom-cavity detunings but weakens them for the negative detuning cases for the lower excitation, which causes the spectrum to exhibit two asymmetric peaks with shifted heights and positions. For the higher excitation cases, the DDI augments the atomic saturation and leads to the deforming of the spectrum. Furthermore, the large DDI can cause the atom and the cavity to decouple, producing a singlet of the normal-mode spectrum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

miRNA can regulate development and milk yield of the mammary gland through epigenetic mechanism. miRNA can directly and indirectly modulate the activity of the epigenetic machinery, target genes through post-inhibition of translation initiation, mediate miRNA decay, target genes and inhibit the positive regulation, regulate tone modification, and regulate DNA methylation of target genes. Here we reviewed the role of miRNAs in mammary gland development and lactation. Researching miRNA in mammary gland development and lactation process, and understanding the response of the epigenetic mechanisms to external stimuli will be an important necessity to devise new technologies for maximizing their activity and milk production in the dairy cow.

Electrochemiluminescence technology is widely used in the highly sensitive detection of environmental pollutants, biologically active molecules, nucleic acids and tumor markers based on its high sensitivity, good selectivity and excellent stability. Quantum dots have become an ideal electrochemiluminescence luminescent material due to their amazing optical properties, good water solubility and good electrochemiluminescence monochromaticity. The further research on signal transduction strategies of electrochemiluminescence sensors based on II-VI quantum dots on will contribute to the construction of advanced sensors. Therefore, this review summarizes the electrochemiluminescence mechanism and electrochemiluminescence sensing signal transduction strategies based on II-VI quantum dots. Three electrochemiluminescence sensing mode (signal-off transduction strategy, signal-on transduction strategy and ratiometric transduction strategy) are introduced emphatically. Finally, the challenges and future development directions faced by II-VI quantum dots based- electrochemiluminescence sensors are discussed according to the development status of the II-VI quantum dot electrochemiluminescence sensing signal transduction strategy and its application in electrochemiluminescence sensors.

AbstractRecent vigorous industrialization and urbanization in Shandong Peninsula, China, have resulted in the emission of heavy anthropogenic aerosols over the region. The annual means of aerosol optical depth (AOD), Ångström exponent (∝), single-scattering albedo (SSA), aerosol direct radiative forcing (ARF), surface radiative forcing (SRF), and top-of-the atmospheric radiative forcing (TOA) recorded during 2004–2011 were respectively 0.67±0.19, 1.25±0.24, 0.93±0.03, 47±9 W m-2, 61±9 W m-2, and −14±8 W m -2, The aerosol optical properties and ARF characteristics showed remarkable seasonal variations due to cycle changes in the aerosol components and dominance type. The atmosphere-surface system was cooled by ARF in all years of the study due to anthropogenic sulfate and nitrate emission and sea salt aerosols. The magnitude of TOA cooling was larger in summer (−15±17 W m-2) and autumn (−12±7 W m-2) than that in spring (−8±4 W m-2) and winter (−9±10 W m-2).

A galactopoietic compound, identified as dibutyl phthalate (DBP), was isolated from Vaccaria segetalis. The activity of DBP on lactation ability of dairy cow mammary gland epithelial cells (DCMECs) cultured in vitroand dairy cow was evaluated. Results showed that DBP could promote cell viability, proliferation ability, lactose and β-casein secretion of DCMECs, which could also raise the milk yields of dairy cows significantly.

Abstract: A modified fame game is proposed by introducing familiarity between agents in the evolution process. We assume that since an agent is recommended, the forgotten probability by the taker decreases with the times that it has been recommended. At the same time, a tunable parameter is introduced to character the correlation between interaction strength and the familiarity. We find that there exists an optimal parameter value leading to the fastest convergence. We attribute this optimal phenomenon to the balance between the recommendation efficiency and the success rate of recommendation. Moreover, some other relevant characters, such as the time interval of forgetting each agent and the success rate of recommendation, are also investigated to understand the dynamics of the modified fame game. The aim of this study was to investigate the value of three-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography for the detection of subclinical left ventricular dysfunction in patients with aortic valvular disease (AVD).

Qianhu, the dried roots of Peucedanumpraeruptorum, is a well-known traditional Chinese medicinal herb which was officially listed in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Praeruptorin A is the major active constituent of Qianhu. Our previous studiesc show that praeruptorin effectively transactivated the protein expression and catalytic activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 via the constitutive androstane receptor-mediated pathway. However, the effect of praeruptorin on the transactivation of cytochrome P450 3A4 through pregnane X receptor pathway is still unclear. To further elucidate the role of the pregnane X receptor pathway in the up-regulation of cytochrome P450 3A4 by praeruptorin, in this study, the effect of praeruptorin on the cytochrome P450 3A4 gene expression was investigated in mouse primary hepatocytes after knockdown of the pregnane X receptor by transient transfection of its siRNA; and the gene expression, protein expression, and catalytic activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 in the LS174T cells with pregnane X receptor overexpression were determined by real-time PCR,Western blot analysis, and LC-MS/MS-based cytochrome P450 3A4 substrate assay, respectively. We found that the level of cytochrome P450 3a11 gene expression in mouse primary hepatocytes was significantly increased by praeruptorin, but such an induction was suppressed after knockdown of pregnane X receptor by its siRNA. Praeruptorin significantly induced cytochrome P450 3A4mRNA, protein expression, and functional activity through pregnane X receptor-mediated pathway in pregnane X receptor-overexpression LS174T cells; conversely, induction was not found in LS174T cells untransfected with pregnane X receptor plasmids. These findings suggest that praeruptorin can significantly up-regulate cytochrome P450 3A4 gene via the pregnane X receptor-mediated pathway, and this should be taken into consideration in potential herb-drug interactions. In this paper, the bridge impact coefficient was researched under conditions of the same section form and different width-span ratio. Five bridge models were set up based on the finite element method. Static and dynamic load simulation analysis for the same form of bridge was conducted firstly. Then the impact coefficient was calculated. Finally, According to the variation of impact coefficient along with the bridge width-span ratio, the method of probabilistic statistical regression analysis is applied to analyze the changing rule of the impact coefficient change with width-span ratio. Results showed that the influence of width-span ratio on impact coefficient should considered preferably for ordinary highway bridges with its width-span ratio less than 1. But for taxiway bridges which the width-span ratio is generally between 2 to 3, the influence of width-span ratio on impact coefficient can be ignored.

Prolactin (PRL) is a versatile signaling molecule and regulates a variety of physiological processes, including mammary gland growth and differentiation and the synthesis of milk proteins. While PRL is known to be necessary for high levels of milk protein expression, the mechanism by which the synthesis of milk proteins is stimulated at the transcript level is less known. A major modification in the transcript level is protein phosphorylation. To gain additional insights into the molecular mechanisms at the transcript level underlying PRL action on the dairy cow mammary epithelial cells (DCMECs), nuclear phosphoproteins whose expression distinguishes proliferating regulated by PRL in DCMECs were identified. A phosphoprotein-enriched fraction from nuclear proteins was obtained by affinity chromatography, and a two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) and matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time of matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization/time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) were used to identify the changes of nuclear phosphoproteins in DCMECs treated with prolactin. Seven proteins displaying≥2-fold difference in abundance upon PRL treatment in DCMECs were identified by MALDI-TOF MS. The protein-GARS (GlyRS), which belonged to the class-II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family, played a global role in the milk protein synthesis. SERPINH1 (Heat shock protein 47), which was the first heat shock protein found to be a member of the serpin superfamily, regulated physiologic functions, such as complement activation, programmed cell death, and inflammatory processes. PRDX3, which belonged to a family of antioxidant enzymes, played an important role in scavenging intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). ACTR1A, belonged to the actin family, which was associated with transport of p53 to the nucleus. Annexin A2, a Ca2+-dependent phospholipid-binding protein, maintained the viability and cell cycle regulation of DCMECs. PSMB2 and PSMD10, which belonged to ubiquitin-proteasome system, were involved in several cellular processes, including cell cycle control, cellular stress response, intracellular signaling. This screening revealed that prolactin influenced the level of nuclear phosphoproteins in DCMECs. This result opens new avenues for the study of the molecular mechanism linked to the synthesis of milk proteins.

The passengers' luggage checking not noly often make the airport staff embarrassed, but also not easy to locate accurately, which often affects passenger evacuation and causes unnecessary disputes. Most of the airport use fixed manual sorting or the technology of barcode, using these methods, however, which greatly affect the quality of services at the airport. This paper presents a system based on radio frequency identification technology (RFID) to achieve luggage matching automatically. In the system,RFID luggage tags will be attached to the target luggage, and the RFID tags which match with the target luggage will be built into a special boarding cards. Only the two RFID tags matching, passengers can freely leave the door in the exit. In order to solve the problem of overcrowding in the luggage claim, this paper proposes to install the LED prompt lights and luggage tracking devices in the U-shaped turntable to improve the accuracy of the luggage claiming. The system provides a new method for airport luggage positioning and management, which be proved of high efficiency, low error rate with some advanced and practical.

To investigate the potential effects of Vaccaria segetalis,we employed the proteomic approach on the dairy cow mammary gland epithelial cells (DCMECs). A total of 35 differentially expressed nuclear proteins were visualized by 2-DE and silver nitrate staining. Of these, five proteins also displayed significant expression changes upon treatment of the water decoction from Vaccaria segetalis,and such alterations were further confirmed by RT-PCR. Together, at both the mRNA and protein levels, the water decoction from Vaccaria segetalisincreased the expression of proteins ethylmalonic encephalopathy 1 (ETHE1), vesicle amine transport protein 1 homolog (VAT1), parkinson disease protein 7 homolog (Protein DJ-1), proteasome subunit alpha type-2 (PSMA2) and SUMO-activating enzyme subunit 1 (SAE1). This study would enable a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying this water decoction effects at the protein level.

Within the framework of the perturbative QCD approach, we study the branching ratios of the two-body charmed decays B(s)→a1(b1)D(s), a1(b1)D(s)*, which, including Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa, allowed and suppressed decays. Our calculations are consistent with the currently available data and the experimental upper limits. Certainly, many of these predicted channels have not been measured by experiments and can be confronted with the future experimental data. We also discuss the polarization factions of the decays B(s)→a1(b1)D(s)*, some of which are sensitive to the distinct Gegenbauer moments of the wave functions and the decay constants of mesons a1 and b1. In this paper, using current advanced computer and real-time Ethernet technologies to design a set of high performances’ DC power dynamic management system for digitalized transformer substation. In the system, the operation states and fault conditions of DC power system can be remote monitored and controlled, the state informations of the feeder switches are real time displayed, the state transformations of DC generatrices are remote controlled, the states of equalizing charge and floating charge of the battery charger are remote controlled and remote transformed, the parameters of the battery charger are remote set, etc. In addition, the operation modes of the whole DC power system in the transformer substation are shown by way of simulation map installed in the upper management machine. This dynamic management system greatly contribute to the construction of unwatched, intelligentized, digitalized transformer substation.

According to the mechanical characteristics of the body structure, the experimental model and the bending test of the body is constructed to understand the static characteristics of the body structure, laying the foundation for the sensitivity analysis and the modification of structural dynamics .

Design Factors of product-family is one of the important elements to maintain and to improve customers’ loyalty to a band. Extraction of design factors of product family based on customer needs promotes relations between brands and customers while improves satisfaction to products of the consumers. In existing studies, methods of getting customer needs have always attracted close attention. But the links between customer needs and design factors have not been adequately studied. By using QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and increasing the number of cascaded transformation hierarchies of the House of Quality, the method of extracting design factors of product family is proposed in this paper.

Three lactoproteins (α-S1-casein, β-lactoglobulin, and β-casein) promotors were cloned, sequenced and compared relative luciferase expression. The results showed that the promotor activity of bovine α-S1-casein gene was the best, and would be used to produce pharmaceutically and medically important proteins in the mammary gland of transgenic animals and also for the construction of an inducible eukaryotic expression vector.

Let-7g, a member of the let-7 family, regulates gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. The study explored a series of biological effects of mouse mammary epithelial cells that let-7g was produced. The differential expression of let-7g was detected by qRT-PCR in different developmental stages of the mouse mammary gland. let-7g expression and impact of let-7g on mouse mammary epithelial cells were analyzed by CASY-technology, qRT-PCR, Western blotting and HPLC inhibited let-7g expression of mouse mammary epithelial cells through gene silencing. The results showed that qRT-PCR identified let-7g as being down-regulated in mouse mammary epithelial cells after it was inhibited. Mouse mammary epithelial cells with low expression of let-7g displayed higher expression of TGFβR I protein than those with high expression of let-7g, suggesting that low let-7g expression contributed to TGFβR I over-expression. Finally, the expression of let-7g was down-regulated, which significantly enhanced the proliferation of mouse mammary epithelial cells, and increased expression of β-Casein. The data indicated that let-7g could negatively regulate the expression of target Tgfbr1 by complementary combination in mouse mammary epithelial cells, and then regulate the cell proliferation and expression of β-Casein by suppressing the TGFβR I expression.

The beacon drifting problem occurs when the beacon nodes move accidentally after deployment. In this occasion, the localization results of sensor nodes in the network will be greatly affected and become inaccurate. In this paper, we present a localization algorithm in wireless sensor networks in beacon drifting scenarios. The algorithm first uses a probability density model to calculate the location reliability of each node, and in localization it will dynamically choose nodes with highest location reliabilities as beacon nodes to improve localization accuracy in beacon drifting scenarios. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves its design goals.

HA MIP was prepared in acetonitrile-ethylene glycol mixed solvent ( 20:1，v/v), HA was used as the template, methacrylic acid (MAA) as the functional monomer, azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as the initiator and ethylene glycol dimethaerylate (EGDMA) as the cross-linker. The UV spectrophotometry was used to demonstrate the interaction between HA and MAA. The adsorption characteristics of MIP to HA have been studied by equilibrium binding experiment and Scatchard analysis. The data obtained show that MIP reached equilibrium within 6 h. It is found that within the studied concentration range one HA molecule is entrapped by two MAA molecules The Scatchard chart shows the apparent maximum binding capacity (Bmax) and the dissociation contents (KD) of MIP are 170.5 μmol/g and 0.18 mmol/L, respctively. The MIP synthesized by this method have better binding ability to histamine and can be applied on the separation and detection of histamine.

Based on the determination of physiological indexes of chestnut stored in the refrigerator, i.e. SOD (Superoxidize dismutase), CAT (Catalase), MDA (Malondialdehyde), Vc (Vitamin C) and GSH (Glutathione), damage rate and decay rate, by Factor Analysis and Canonical Correration Analysis, decay mechanism of the chestnut is that leaking of electrons results the formation of O2., which promote the SOD activity and Vc content; O2. damages mitochondrial membrane, its electrons transfer to H2O and then form H2O2 which damages the membrane, finally result in chestnut decay. By Comparison of the membrane and the mitochondrion in electron microscope photos of chestnut cell, this conclusion is also proved.

The quadratic orthogonal rotation design with 3 factors was used to study the effect of sodium hypochlorite, sodium sorbate and calcium propionate solutions on the chestnut, and to establish the function model with 3 factors. The analysis on this model showed that the order of the effect of 3 factors was as follows: Calcium propionate > Sodium sorbate >Sodium hypochlorite; In this test, for getting over 55% good-fruit rate, respectively, the optimum sodium hypochlorite concentration was 11.4％－19.5％, sodium sorbate concentration was 2.67％－39.9％, calcium propionate concentration was 1.09％－2.71％.

Within the framework of the perturbative QCD approach, we study the two-body charmless decays Β→a1(1260)(b1(1235))&rgr;(ω, ø) and Bs -- a,(1260)(b1(1235))P(V), where, P, V stand for any light pseudoscalar meson and vector meson, respectively. We find the following results: (a) With the exception of the decays &Bmacr;0 → a01, other tree-dominated decays Β → a1&rgr;(ω) have larger branching ratios of order 10-5. With the exception of the decays &Βmacr; → b+1&rgr;- and B- → b01&rgr;-, other Β → b1&rgr;(ω) decays have smaller branching ratios of order 10-6. The decays Β → a1&(b1)ø are highly suppressed and have very small branching ratios of order 10-9. (b) The decays &Bmacr;0s → a-1K+(K*+) have contributions from the factorization emission diagrams with a large Wilson coefficient C2 + C1/3, so they have the largest branching ratios and arrive at the order of 10-5. For the decays &Bmacr;0s → b1K(K*)a1&pgr;, all of their branching ratios are of order a few times 10-6. The branching ratios of other decays fall in the order of 10-7 -- 10-9. (c) For the decays &B¯0 → a01&rgr;0 and B- → b-1&rgr;0, their two transverse polarizations are larger than their longitudinal polarizations, which are about 43.3% and 44.9%, respectively, (d) With the exception of the decays &Bmacr;0s -- a01, K*0, a01ω,b01ω the longitudinal polarization fractions of other &Bmacr;0s → a1(b1)V decays are very large and more than 90%. (e) For the decays B- → a01&rgr;-, b01&rgr;- and &Bmacr;0 b01&rgr;0, b01ω, where the transverse polarization fractions range from 4.7 to 7.5%, we calculate their direct CF-violating asymmetries, neglecting the transverse polarizations and find that those for two charged decays have smaller values, which are about 11.8% and --3.7%, respectively. Compared with the decays iS &B0s → a1(b1), most of the &Bmacr;0 -->s a1(b1)V decays have smaller direct CP asymmetries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To analyze miR-139 target sites in 3′ UTR of GHRgene in dairy cow mammary gland, a GHR 3′ UTR- luciferase reporter vector was constructed and the effect of miRNA on its activity was evaluated in dairy cow mammary gland epithelial cells (DCMECs). The miR-139 targeting GHR 3′ UTR was predicted by Target Scan 5.1 software, 3′ UTR fragment of GHR was amplified by PCR from RNA of DCMECs. PCR products were cloned into SpeI/HindIII modified pMIR-Report vector. The luciferase reporter vector and miRNA eukaryotic expression vector were transferred into DCMECs using lipofectamine 2000 transfection reagent. The dualluciferase reporter assay system was used to quantitiate the reporter activity. The results showed that a 107 bp 3′ UTR fragment of GHRgene was successfully cloned into the pMIR-Report vector, which authenticated by SpeI/HindIII digestion and DNA sequencing. The luciferase activity of reporter construction treated with miR-139 decreased 20.87% compared with the control group. It was concluded that the GHR3′ UTR-luciferase reporter vector had been successfully constructed. The luciferase activity of the reporter could be suppressed by miR-139.
