The 1.43” hybrid wearable AMOLED display (HWAD) had been developed based on low‐temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) and thin‐film encapsulation (TFE) techniques, which was integrated touch and display functionalities with one driver IC. The 1.43” HWAD border was similar to flexible products, but less than rigid ones above 20%. Meanwhile, the ultra‐thin stack‐up module thickness was also close to that of flexible ones, but reduced about 31.4% compared to traditional rigid display. HWAD utilized a new pixel compensation circuit and a novel compensation algorithm, eventually achieved a flicker indicator FMA value of <3% in 5Hz AOD mode. The logic power consumption of the smart watch in 5Hz AOD model is reduced about 35% compared with the one in 30Hz. The novel HWAD aggregated the advantages of flexible and rigid displays with low process costs. The novel high‐performance HWAD had significant market application prospect.

Electrocatalysts with high efficiency and stability for water splitting over a broad pH range are highly desirable but difficult to synthesize. Herein, we synthesized ultrafine Co4N nanodots anchored to the surface of an N-doped carbon framework (Co4N@NC) viaa new space-restricted strategy. The key to this method is the design of a task-specific deep eutectic solvent precursor, which ultimately forms ultrafine Co4N nanodots that are anchored to the surface of NC framework by hydrogen bonding interactions between the components. The formation of a new Co-C bond at the interface of Co4N@NC expedites the electron transfer and optimizes the adsorption/desorption energies. Co4N@NC demonstrates excellent electrocatalytic water splitting activity at all pH values, requiring only 1.47 (0.5 mol L−1H2SO4), 1.48 (1.0 mol L−1KOH), and 1.61 V (1.0 mol L−1PBS) to reach 10 mA cm−2current density. This study provides theoretical guidance for the systematic design of electrocatalysts with excellent stability in various electrolytes.

Although nucleobindin-2 (NUCB2)/nesfatin-1 has multiple biological functions, there is a scarcity of information regarding the regulatory effect of NUCB2/nesfatin-1 on lipid metabolism in mammals and fish. In order to investigate the mechanism underlying the effect of nesfatin-1 on lipid metabolism in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides), the sequence of NUCB2 was cloned and nesfatin-1 was expressed in prokaryotic system. Intraperitoneal injection of 5, 50 or 500 ng/g nesfatin-1 protein to determine differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in largemouth bass by transcriptomic profiling. The triglyceride and total cholesterol levels in the hepatopancreas and plasma were subsequently determined. The results showed that the NUCB2 cDNA sequence was 2015 bp in length and analyzed that NUCB2 mRNA was abundantly expressed in the hepatopancreas. RNA-seq analysis revealed that 385, 1647, and 750 genes were differentially expressed in the three groups, respectively, of which 33, 69, and 61 DEGs, respectively, were involved in lipid metabolism. GO and KEGG analysis showed that the DEGs were enriched in 24 signaling pathways related to lipid metabolism. The PPAR signaling pathway was significantly enriched following treatment with nesfatin-1. The fatty acid transport genes (ACSL, FABP3, FATP, ACBP) were significantly downregulated in the pathway (p < 0.05). Additionally, the TG (p < 0.01) and T-CHO (p < 0.05) levels in the hepatopancreas were significantly down-regulated at 50 ng/g nesfatin-1 protein injection dose, while TG and T-CHO levels in plasma were not significantly altered (p > 0.05). The present study demonstrated that at an optimal concentration, nesfatin-1 affected lipid metabolism in the hepatopancreas of largemouth bass primarily via the PPAR signaling pathway, to down-regulate the expression of fatty acid transport genes, which in turn decreased lipid synthesis in the hepatopancreas. The findings provide useful insights for further analysis of the mechanism underlying the effect of nesfatin-1, and for elucidating the regulation of lipid metabolism homeostasis in the aquaculture production of largemouth bass.

Hyaluronidase (HAase) is becoming a new type of tumor marker since it has been demonstrated to be overexpressed in various kinds of cancer cells. In this study, we described a novel fluorescence method for sensitive, rapid, and convenient HAase detection and tumor-targeting drug delivery and imaging, using a probe prepared by electrostatic assembly of a cationic conjugated polymer (CCP) and anionic hyaluronan (HA) conjugated with the anticancer drug doxorubicin (Dox). The CCP we used was poly{[9,9-bis(6′-(N,N,N-diethylmethylammonium)hexyl)-2,7-fluorenylene ethynylene]-alt-co-[2,5-bis(3′-(N,N,N-diethylmethylammonium)-1′-oxapropyl)-1,4-phenylene]} tetraiodide (PFEP). HA is a natural mucopolysaccharide that can be hydrolyzed by HAase into fragments with low molecular weights. In the PFEP/HA-Dox complex, the fluorescence of PFEP was efficiently quenched due to electron transfer from PFEP to Dox. After the PFEP/HA-Dox complex was exposed to HAase or was taken up by cancer cells through the specific binding between HA and CD44 receptor, HA was degraded by HAase to release the Dox, leading to the recovery of PFEP fluorescence to the “turn-on” state. Moreover, the degree of fluorescence recovery was quantitatively correlated with the concentrations of HAase. Compared with many previously reported methods, our work did not require laborious multiple modifications of HA that may affect the activity of HAase. This point, combined with the excellent optoelectronic property of conjugated polymer, endowed this method with high sensitivity (detection limit: 0.075 U/mL), high specificity, and rapid response, making it applicable for reliable and routine detection of HAase. This fluorescent probe was successfully utilized to detect HAase levels in human urine samples; furthermore, it can also be employed as a multifunctional system by realizing tumor-targeting drug delivery and cell imaging simultaneously. The development of this fluorescence method showed promising potential for early tumor diagnosis and therapy based on HAase detection.

Simple, rapid, and sensitive detection of CD44 is of paramount importance since it plays pivotal roles in tumor initiation, growth and metastasis. Herein, we describe a novel method for sensitive, visual and facile fluorescence detection of CD44 and CD44-mediated cancer cell imaging, using a probe based on cationic conjugated polymer (CCP)–PFEP and fluoresceinamine-hyaluronan (FA-HA). HA is an anionic natural glycosaminoglycan that can specifically bind to the overexpressed CD44 on various kinds of cancer cells. PFEP and FA-HA formed a complex through electronic interactions, resulting in a highly efficient fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) from PFEP to FA-HA; moreover, the efficiencies of FRET correlated with the concentrations of CD44 because the specific binding of HA-CD44 would separate FA-HA away from PFEP. This method did not require laborious and expensive dual-labeling or protein-labeling needed in previously reported detection methods of CD44. Just mix the sample and test solution containing the PFEP/FA-HA complex, and the results allowed naked-eye detection by observing fluorescent color of solutions with the assistance of a UV lamp. Most importantly, the use of a conjugated polymer with excellent amplification property as well as the specific binding of HA-CD44 endowed this method with high sensitivity and specificity, making it applicable for reliable quantitative detection of CD44. Furthermore, the PFEP/FA-HA complex formed nanoparticles in aqueous solution, and the nanoparticles can be selectively taken up by MCF-7 cells (cancer cell) through the HA-CD44 interaction, thereby giving rise to a dual-color tumor-targeted imaging probe with good photostability. The development of this fluorescent probe showed promising potential to make a reliable and routine method available for early diagnosis of cancer.

Monodisperse α-Fe 2O 3microspheres of different shapes have been selectively synthesized through the hydrothermal process. The products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. All the α-Fe 2O 3microspheres have good dispersibility, uniform size, and well-defined shapes. The ferromagnetic investigation of the egg-like α-Fe 2O 3microspheres gave extremely high coercivity of 3800 Oe at room temperature. The formation mechanism of these microspheres was preliminarily discussed. Nanorods and branched nanorods of a hydroxide precursor Fe 8O 8(OH) 8Cl 1.35have been captured. Monodisperse Fe 3O 4microspheres have also been prepared, and their magnetization saturation value is about 40.1 emu/g.
