Dendrobium seedlings showed low survival rate when they were transferred from in vitro conditions to greenhouse or field environment. One of the major reasons is their low tolerance to environmental changes. WRKY transcription factors are one of the largest families of transcriptional regulators in plants. They are involved in various biotic and abiotic stress responses. One DnWRKY11 gene was isolated from Dendrobium nobile. To explore the function of DnWRKY11 in Dendrobium defense responses to abiotic stress, it was overexpressed in tobacco. Under salt and drought stresses, the DnWRKY11 transgenic tobacco showed higher germination rate, longer root length, higher fresh weight, higher activities of catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and lower content of malonidialdehyde (MDA) than the wild type. These results proved the important roles of DnWRKY11 in plant response to drought and salt stresses, and provided a potential gene for improving environmental stress tolerance of Dendrobium seedlings.

This system is in a more powerful function, can more comprehensive monitoring the wind generator, and can effectively analyze data.

As it is difficult to realize the traveling wave protection principle based on wavelet analysis in microcomputer protection device, a new microcomputer protection architecture based on FPGA+ARM is put forward in this paper This architecture make full use of ARM to complete relay protection principle, communication and the realization of the man-machine interface for the powerful transaction processing ability, and make use of FPGA to complete complex real-time wavelet analysis by a logic circuit for the characteristics of FPGA in high speed real-time parallel computation. It proves in experiment that this scheme is a good solution for the realization of travelling wave protection.

This paper researched on vehicles’ emissions in Nanjing based on IVE model and presented the method to quantify the main inputting parameters of IVE model. This research has collected the traffic of different types of roads in Nanjing. The light-duty vehicles, taxis, buses and trucks respectively accounted for 73.4%, 13.3%, 10.3% and 3.0% of the total traffic volume. According to vehicle driving condition data collected by GPS, the driving cycle of light-duty vehicles in Nanjing was defined. The on-road vehicles’ emission data were measured using the on-board vehicle emission analyzer made by ourselves. Then the correction factors of NOx in IVE model could be obtained using the testing emission data. The results of IVE model showed that the daily NOx emission of light-duty vehicles, taxis, buses and trucks in Nanjing city were 17.79t, 5.51t, 146.37t and 83.78t. Buses and trucks were the main emission sources of NOx, with the contribution of 57.75% and 33.06%.

This paper introduced the test system which can record and process the related condition parameter considering the needs of international vehicle emission (IVE) model. In order to improve its extendibility and versatility, gasoline vehicle fuel consumption measurement model based on carbon balance method was established. Theoretical model of calculating nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission and fuel consumption by carbon balance method is illustrated. And to measure the exhaust gas flow rate, a V-cone flow-meter and a gas analyzer which were modularized were designed, too.

A two-step fermentation procedure for maize straw hydrolysis by Phanerochaete chrysosporium, Trichoderma and Aspergillus niger were investigated in this study. 2 mL of P. chrysosporium (107spores/mL) was added to 50 mL medium for the first fermentation stage. The optimal culture conditions were 28°C of culture temperature, 4.0 of pH, 8 days of culture time, 2 mL of Trichoderma suspensions (107spores/mL) and 1 mL of A. niger suspensions (107spores/mL) of the inoculums size on the second fermentation stage. Under the optimal conditions, the crude degradation rate achieved 48.2%. Via sulfonation, oxidate-lignosulfonate alkali lignin (OLAL) was achieved from maize straw hydrolysate(MSH).OLAL and MSH can be partial substitution for common water reducers and OLAL was more efficient compared to that of MSH.

A sacBmutant was obtained by transposon IS10 inactivation of a plasmid pXT3sacB carrying the sacBgene. Sequencing of this mutant plasmid DNA (GenBank accession No. AY580883.1) showed that the IS10 flanking the 22 bp inverted repeats were 5′-CTGAGAGATCCCCTCATAATTT-3′ and 5′-AAATCATTAGGGGATTCATCAG-3′, which were the similar to those published in reports previously. However, the target sequence adjacent to IS10 was 5′-TGCTTGGTT-3′ instead of the previously reported 5′-NGCTNAGCN-3′. To our knowledge, this is the first report on the novel insertion site of IS10. In addition, Southern blot hybridization confirmed that the mobile IS10 originated from the chromosomal DNA of the host strain Escherichia coliDH5α and that there were two copies in the DH5α genome.

A new treatment to characterize copolymer composition in binary copolymerization systems was developed by using a steady-state assumption for free radicals. It gives a copolymer composition equation solely through classical kinetic theory with the antepenultimate effect taken into account. This equation and its derivation procedure are compared with those previously published.
