The integration of wire-arc additive manufacture (WAAM) and laser shock peening (LSP) facilitated the study of the gradient microstructure in T6-treated WAAM Al–Cu alloy and the synergistic strengthening mechanisms involving the precipitation phase and LSP parameters. The results indicate that pore closures, increases in kernel average misorientation (KAM), and low angle grain boundary (LAGB) are positively associated with LSP energy density. Residual stress positively correlates with LSP energy density and inversely with spot diameter, where larger spots exacerbate non-uniformity. The values of dislocation density, microhardness and residual stress of the post-LSP specimen gradually increase with the increase of depth, and reach the maximum value at ~100 μm. As the depth continues to increase, the value begins to decrease gradually. Dislocation accumulation near grain boundaries, interacting with θ’-Al2Cu, contributes to strength enhancement. The main strengthening mechanisms enhanced by LSP involve creating a gradient microstructure through significant plastic deformation, pore closure, and the presence of high-density dislocations. Post-T6 treatment, θ’-Al2Cu significantly restricts dislocation slip, pins dislocations, and encourages the emergence of new dislocation sources, thereby enhancing the strengthening effect and stability induced by LSP.

Efficient charge carrier transport characteristics are critical to achieving the excellent performance of metal-oxide semiconductor gas sensors. Herein, SnO2/CeO2heterojunction layered nanosheets with abundant oxygen vacancies were successfully synthesized through a simple solvothermal assisted high-temperature calcination method. The synergistic effect of oxygen vacancies and heterojunctions promoting the charge carrier transport properties at the SnO2/CeO2interface for the enhanced sensing properties of triethylamine (TEA) was highlighted. As a result, the optimized SnO2/CeO2exhibits improved gas sensing performance at 173 °C to 50 ppm of TEA. These include high response (205), excellent selectivity, low detection limit, and good long-term stability. This enhanced gas sensing property of SnO2/CeO2is mainly attributed to the fact that the heterojunction and oxygen vacancies act as dual active sites synergistically inducing electron transfer, thereby effectively modulating the transport properties of the interfacial charge carriers, and thus facilitate the surface reactions efficiently. In this work, the dual-engineering strategy of synergistic interaction of heterojunction and oxygen vacancies can provide new perspectives for the design of advanced gas sensing materials.

A novel nano-WS2/graphene nanosheets (GNSs) composite is obtained by ball milling with xylitol as auxiliary agent and high-temperature sintering. Xylitol improves the shear force during ball milling and well overcomes the van der Waals interactions between the interlayer of graphite and WS2. Through high-temperature calcination, GNSs and WS2nanosheets can form tight interface contact. The produced WS2/GNSs composites can be used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, while maintaining a high reversible specific capacity of 705 mAh·g−1with the capacity retention of 95% at a current density of 250 mA·g−1after 200 cycles, mainly because WS2/GNSs composites have a higher Li+diffusion coefficient of 2.2 × 10–9cm2·s−1and a higher specific surface area of 70.10 m2·g−1. As a result, the xylitol-assisted ball milling method designed in this work is suitable for extended preparation of peeling of two-dimensional layer materials into nanosheets.

Uneven zinc (Zn) deposition typically leads to uncontrollable dendrite growth, which renders an unsatisfactory cycling stability and Coulombic efficiency (CE) of aqueous zinc ion batteries (ZIBs), restricting their practical application. In this work, a lightweight and flexible three-dimensional (3D) carbon nanofiber architecture with uniform Zn seeds (CNF-Zn) is prepared from bacterial cellulose (BC), a kind of biomass with low cost, environmental friendliness, and abundance, as a host for highly reversible Zn plating/stripping and construction of high-performance aqueous ZIBs. The as-prepared 3D CNF-Zn with a porous interconnected network significantly decreases the local current density, and the functional Zn seeds provide uniform nuclei to guide the uniform Zn deposition. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of Zn seeds and the 3D porous framework in the flexible CNF-Zn host, the electrochemical performance of the as-constructed ZIBs is significantly improved. This flexible 3D CNF-Zn host delivers a high and stable CE of 99.5% over 450 cycles, ensuring outstanding rate performance and a long cycle life of over 500 cycles at 4 A g–1in the CNF-Zn@Zn//NaV3O8·1.5H2O full battery. More importantly, owing to the flexibility of the 3D CNF-Zn host, the as-assembled pouch cell shows outstanding mechanical flexibility and excellent energy storage performance. This strategy of producing readily accessible carbon from biomass can be employed to develop advanced functional nanomaterials for next-generation flexible energy storage devices.

With the consumption of fossil fuels and the impact of the greenhouse effect, renewable energies are ushering in a huge development opportunity, thus the optimal configuration of energy storage is essential to cope with the intermittence and fluctuation of renewable energies. This paper establishes a mathematical model for optimal sizing of energy storage in generation expansion planning (GEP) of new power system with high penetration of renewable energies. The objective function is to achieve the lowest total cost of investment and operation under the comprehensive consideration of various generation technologies and energy storage technologies. Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals are transformed into constraints of the GEP model to achieve high penetration of renewable energies in a power system. And 8760h operation curve are adopted to deal with the intermittence and fluctuation of renewable energies and obtains a more reasonable and realistic GEP results. Meanwhile, the optimal sizing of energy storage is solved in GEP model by detailed operation optimization and constraints of penetration rate and curtailment rate of renewable energies. Finally, the solving flow chart of GEP model and flow chart of optimal sizing of energy storage are given and the validity of this GEP model is proved in case analysis. In addition, carbon peaking goal may achieve in advance by vigorously developing wind power and PV power and configuring appropriate energy storage.

The discovery of room-temperature single-photon emitters (SPEs) hosted by two-dimensional hexagonal boron nitride (2D hBN) has sparked intense research interest. Although emitters in the vicinity of 2 eV have been studied extensively, their microscopic identity has remained elusive. The discussion of this class of SPEs has centered on point defects in the hBN crystal lattice, but none of the candidate defect structures have been able to capture the great heterogeneity in emitter properties that is observed experimentally. Employing a widely used sample preparation protocol but disentangling several confounding factors, we demonstrate conclusively that heterogeneous single-photon emission at ∼2 eV associated with hBN originates from organic molecules, presumably aromatic fluorophores. The appearance of those SPEs depends critically on the presence of organic processing residues during sample preparation, and emitters formed during heat treatment are not located within the hBN crystal as previously thought, but at the hBN/substrate interface. We further demonstrate that the same class of SPEs can be observed in a different 2D insulator, fluorophlogopite mica.

This paper introduces the research on the elements that could lead to the DGS issue of Mini LED BLU, as well as a theoretical model built based on the research result. By performing a variety of experiments studying the relationship between several elements, this DGS issue was confirmed to be caused by electrochemical corrosion under the joint impact of water steam infiltrate and electric potential difference between metal pattern on the product. In this specific circumstance, the two necessary condition for DGS issue to happen are electric potential difference between 2 ndCu layer pattern in LED zone and 1 stCu layer pattern on the G‐ bus, and the water steam infiltrated from the via hole left for the LED chip soldering. The water steam infiltrated then diffuse through the 1 stResin layer and the time cost for the water steam to reach the position where electric potential difference exists is in a direct proportion to the distance from such point to the soldering via. Moreover, the larger that electric potential difference is, the higher probability of DGS issue happening is, while the relationship between this probability and the distance mentioned previously is in an opposite way. Overall, by applying several optimization such cancelling the hedgehopping 1 stCu pattern and adding extra inorganic insulating layer protection on the design of product, and applying an extra cathode protection design, the DGS issue was significantly resolved.

Bone implant outcome and bone regeneration properties can be improved by the immunomodulation of exosomes (Exos) derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs), which contain cytokines, signaling lipids, and regulatory miRNAs. Analysis of miRNAs in BMSCs-derived exosomes showed that miR-21a-5p exhibited the highest expression and was associated with the NF-κB pathway. Hence, we developed an implant with miR-21a-5p functionality to promote bone incorporation by immunoregulation. Mediated by the potent interaction between tannic acid (TA) and biomacromolecules, the tannic acid modified mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles coated with miR-21a-5p (miR-21a-5p@T-MBGNs) were reversibly attached to TA-modified polyetheretherketone (T-PEEK). Cocultured cells could phagocytose miR-21a-5p@T-MBGNs slowly released from miR-21a-5p@T-MBGNs loaded T-PEEK (miMT-PEEK). Moreover, miMT-PEEK boosted macrophage M2 polarization via the NF-κB pathway to increase BMSCs osteogenic differentiation. In vivo testing of miMT-PEEK in the rat air-pouch model and rat femoral drilling model indicated effective macrophage M2 polarization, new bone formation, and excellent osseointegration. Overall, the osteoimmunomodulation of the miR-21a-5p@T-MBGNs-functionalized implant promoted osteogenesis and osseointegration.

The valuable metals were separated and extracted from waste light-emitting diodes (LEDs) by pyrolysis and leaching process. About 98.16% Ga and 99.54% Y were recycled from the LEDs after the pyrolysis by sieving process in advance. The effects of various leaching conditions on the extraction of Fe, Cu and Ag were investigated by single factor experiments and response surface method. About 90.15% Fe was selectively extracted from the waste LEDs by H2SO4leaching without oxidant, and 99.55% Cu and 99.36% Ag were recovered from the iron leaching residue by acid leaching with the addition of HNO3. The XRD and SEM−EDS analyses confirmed that the iron and copper were effectively extracted from the waste LEDs by the developed process.

Bus travel time is uncertain due to the dynamic change in the environment. Passenger analyzing bus travel time uncertainty has significant implications for understanding bus running errors and reducing travel risks. To quantify the uncertainty of the bus travel time prediction model, a visual analysis method about the bus travel time uncertainty is proposed in this paper, which can intuitively obtain uncertain information of bus travel time through visual graphs. Firstly, a Bayesian encoder–decoder deep neural network (BEDDNN) model is proposed to predict the bus travel time. The BEDDNN model outputs results with distributional properties to calculate the prediction model uncertainty degree and provide the estimation of the bus travel time uncertainty. Second, an interactive uncertainty visualization system is developed to analyze the time uncertainty associated with bus stations and lines. The prediction model and the visualization model are organically combined to better demonstrate the prediction results and uncertainties. Finally, the model evaluation results based on actual bus data illustrate the effectiveness of the model. The results of the case study and user evaluation show that the visualization system in this paper has a positive impact on the effectiveness of conveying uncertain information and on user perception and decision making.

The charging behavior of electric vehicles has uncertainty, which leads to uncertainty in the load of the V2G platform. In this paper, a clustering model of charging load at the charging station of the V2G platform containing uncertainty factors is put forward, and analyze the uncertain charging behavior and charging power characteristics. To ensure the reliability of the uncertainty quantification results, an efficient Latin Hypercube Sampling method is chosen to make the extracted samples comprehensive and homogeneous. The load prediction of electric vehicles charging behavior with uncertainty is carried out by Monte Carlo method. Finally, the typical load data of electric vehicles charging stations in Chongqing V2G platform is used as an example to verify the superiority of the uncertainty charging load clustering and prediction method proposed in this paper.

ABSTRACTIn view of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging, sparse aperture not only affects the imaging quality of traditional range Doppler (RD) algorithm but also increases the difficulty of translational motion compensation (TMC). For the purpose of reducing the influence of motion errors on the target imaging, reweighted alternating direction method of multipliers (RADMM) is proposed to realize the joint processing of phase adjustment and ISAR imaging. Combined with pattern-coupled sparse structure (PCSS) information of the target, the reweighted norm minimization problem is established first. Then, the minimum entropy method is adopted to estimate the phase error, and the iterative process of RADMM is deduced. Finally, the experimental results based on two sets of measured data demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm under the conditions of noise and sparse aperture.

Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers globally with high incidence and mortality rate. Acupuncture and moxibustion have been used as adjuvant therapies to relieve the symptoms and complications of lung cancer. At present, acupuncture and moxibustion can partially improve the quality of life (QOL) of cancer patients. However, the evidence that acupuncture and moxibustion can improve patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in patients with lung cancer is still insufficient. We aimed to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of published randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to determine whether acupuncture and moxibustion can improve PROs among patients with lung cancer, providing a support basis for acupuncture and moxibustion inclusion in relevant guidelines.

Thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) can effectively protect the alloy substrate of hot components in aeroengines or land-based gas turbines by the thermal insulation and corrosion/erosion resistance of the ceramic top coat. However, the continuous pursuit of a higher operating temperature leads to degradation, delamination, and premature failure of the top coat. Both new ceramic materials and new coating structures must be developed to meet the demand for future advanced TBC systems. In this paper, the latest progress of some new ceramic materials is first reviewed. Then, a comprehensive spalling mechanism of the ceramic top coat is summarized to understand the dependence of lifetime on various factors such as oxidation scale growth, ceramic sintering, erosion, and calcium-magnesium-aluminium-silicate (CMAS) molten salt corrosion. Finally, new structural design methods for high-performance TBCs are discussed from the perspectives of lamellar, columnar, and nanostructure inclusions. The latest developments of ceramic top coat will be presented in terms of material selection, structural design, and failure mechanism, and the comprehensive guidance will be provided for the development of next-generation advanced TBCs with higher temperature resistance, better thermal insulation, and longer lifetime.

Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor as an attractive drug target with promising antitumor effects has been widely investigated. High quality clinical trial has been conducted in liver transplant (LT) recipients in Western countries. However, the pertinent studies in Eastern world are paucity. Therefore, we designed a clinical trial to test whether sirolimus can improve recurrence-free survival (RFS) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients beyond the Milan criteria after LT. This is an open-labeled, single-arm, prospective, multicenter, and real-world study aiming to evaluate the clinical outcomes of early switch to sirolimus-based regimens in HCC patients after LT. Patients with a histologically proven HCC and beyond the Milan criteria will be enrolled. The initial immunosuppressant regimens are center-specific for the first 4-6 weeks. The following regimens integrated sirolimus into the regimens as a combination therapy with reduced calcineurin inhibitors based on the condition of patients and centers. The study is planned for 4 years in total with a 2-year enrollment period and a 2-year follow-up. We predict that sirolimus conversion regimen will provide survival benefits for patients particular in the key indicator RFS as well as better quality of life. If the trial is conducted successfully, we will have a continued monitoring over a longer follow-up time to estimate indicator of overall survival. We hope that the outcome will provide better evidence for clinical decision-making and revising treatment guidelines based on Chinese population data.

Interfacial solar steam generation (ISSG) utilizing local heating technology for evaporation at the water-to-steam interface is drawing great attention because of its high efficiency of solar-thermal conversion for a sustainable and eco-friendly drinking water regeneration process. Here, inspired by the structure of penguin feathers and polar bear hairs that both have macropores to trap air for thermal insulation, we report a bionic solar evaporator (BSE) with macroporous skeleton for partial thermal management and macro patulous channels for abundant water transportation and rapid steam extraction. Meanwhile, the 3D hierarchical isotropic truss structures can induce multiple light reflections to enable omnidirectional light absorption, and bimodal pores facilitate ion diffusion to suppress salt deposits. This BSE exhibits an evaporation rate of 2.3 kg m–2h–1and efficiency of 93% under 1 sun. The multiple advantages of high efficiency and salt resistance make BSE available for future practical sewage purification and desalination applications.

ABSTRACTTo clarify the influence of HIV on the intestinal flora and the interrelationship with CD4 T cells, the present study collected stool specimens from 33 HIV patients and 28 healthy subjects to compare the differences in the intestinal flora and CD4 T cells in a 16S rDNA-sequencing approach. ELISA was used to detect the expressions of interleukin 2 (IL-2), IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Meanwhile, correlation analysis with the different bacterial populations in each group was carried out. The results revealed that Alpha diversity indices of the intestinal flora of HIV patients were markedly lower than that of the healthy group (p < 0.05). The top five bacterial species in the HIV group were Bacteroides (23.453%), Prevotella (19.237%), Fusobacterium (12.408%), Lachnospira (3.811%), and Escherichia-Shigella (3.126%). Spearman correlation analysis results indicated that Fusobacterium_mortiferum, Fusobacterium, and Gammaproteobacteria were positively correlated with TNF-α (p < 0.05), whereas Ruminococcaceae, Bacteroidales was negatively correlated with TNF-α (p < 0.05). Additionally, Agathobacter was positively correlated with contents of IL-2 and IL-8 (p < 0.05), whereas Prevotellaceae, and Prevotella were negatively correlated with IL-8 content (p < 0.05). Furthermore, the top five strains in the CD4 high group (≥350/mm3) included Bacteroides (23.286%), Prevotella (21.943%), Fusobacterium (10.479%), Lachnospira (4.465%), and un_f_Lachnospiraceae (2.786%). Taken together, the present study identified that Fusobacterium and Escherichia-Shigella were specific and highly abundant in the HIV group and a correlation between the different bacterial flora and the contents of IL-2, IL-8, and TNF-α was revealed.

Recyclable thermosets and thermoset composites with covalent adaptable networks (CANs, or dynamic covalent networks) have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to the combined merits of excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and chemical stabilities of traditional thermosets and recyclable, remoldable, and reprocessable attributes of thermoplastics. In this paper, we present an overview of the current strategies for synthesizing recyclable thermosets based on CANs, which involve recyclability, reprocessability, and possible rehealability. The recent literature examples are categorized based on the underlying controlled-cleavable linkages such as transesterification, DA/retro-DA chemistry, imine bonds, disulfide metathesis, dynamic B-O bonds, hemiaminals/hexahydrotriazines, and acetal linkages. Various degradation and malleability methods and resulting mechanical properties of the recycled thermosets and thermoset composites are presented. The emerging applications of recyclable thermosets and thermoset composites, with emphasis on their usage in adhesives, biomedical materials, wearable devices, coatings, and 3D printing materials, are also illustrated. Finally, a perspective on the challenges and future perspectives is briefly summarized. This paper mainly studies the influence factors and the theoretical model of OGM anti‐visibility. The factor experiment is performed by controlling the Mesh Space, the double‐layer metal reflectance difference |Rd|%, and the metal reflectivity R%. Though the research on the relationship between the factor and the level of anti‐visibility of the touch screen, Mesh Space, |Rd|%, and R% have a negative correlation with Anti visibility ability. To improve anti‐visibility ability, it is necessary to reduce Mesh Space, |Rd|% and R%. By establishing the OGM anti‐visibility theoretical model, the visibility of the human eye to the OGM metal mesh is equivalent to the human eye's ability to distinguish the smallest unit of metal mesh line. When mesh Space and |Rd|% increases, which is equivalent to the larger the resolution line distance of the mesh , it is easier for human eye to recognize metal mesh according to the Rayleigh criterion, so that the metal mesh is visible and anti‐ visibility ability decreases. When R% increases, metal reflection energy increases, and the background difference from the display module increases, making it easier to be recognized.

Evaluating the quality of therapeutic data collected during this most recent pandemic is important for improving future clinical research under similar circumstances.

Biomass-derived carbon materials prepared via pyrolysis from natural wood structures show potential for a storage application. Natural wood is composed of multiple carbon sources, including lignin, hemicellulose, and cellulose, which influence the formation and microstructure of pyrolysis carbon. However, the mechanism is not fully understood. In this work, vast lignin is selectively consumed via biodegradation with fungi from basswood. The results demonstrate that the as-prepared carbon material has a short-range ordered graphitic structure after thermal treatment. The improved graphitization degree of carbon suggests that cellulose is beneficial to graphite formation during pyrolysis. The elevated graphitization degree helps to improve the charge transfer and the thermodynamic stability of the electrode reaction. As a proof of concept, the obtained carbon current collector as a sodium-metal anode can undergo cycling at an areal capacity of 10 mAh cm–2for over 4500 h and yield an excellent Coulombic efficiency of >99.5%.

ABSTRACTLong non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are related to a variety of human diseases. However, little is known about the role of lncRNA in intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). LncRNA expression profile of human IDD were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Potential biomarkers and therapeutic drugs for IDD were analyzed by weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), R software package Limma, Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG). We identified 1455 differentially expressed genes and 423 differentially expressed lncRNAs. Twenty-six co-expression modules were obtained, among them, the tan, brown, and turquoise modules were most closely related to IDD. The turquoise module contained a large number of differential expressed lncRNAs and genes, these genes were mainly enriched in the MAPK signaling pathway, TGF-beta signaling pathway. Furthermore, we obtained 11,857 LmiRM-Degenerated, these lncRNAs and genes showed higher differential expression multiples and higher expression correlation. After constructing a disease-gene interaction network, 25 disease-specific genes and 9 disease-specific lncRNAs were identified. Combined with the drug-target gene interaction network, three drugs, namely, Calcium citrate, Calcium Phosphate, and Calcium phosphate dihydrate, which may have curative effects on IDD, were determined. Finally, a genetic diagnosis model and lncRNA diagnosis model with 100% diagnostic performance in both the training data set and the validation data set were established based on these genes and lncRNA. This study provided new diagnostic features for IDD and could help design personalized treatment of IDD.

Hoek–Brown failure criterion is one of the widely used rock strength criteria in rock mechanics and mining engineering. Based on the theoretical expression of Hoek–Brown parameter mof an intact rock, the parameter mhas been modified by crack parameters for fractured rocks. In this paper, the theoretical value range and theoretical expression form of the parameter min Hoek–Brown failure criterion were discussed. A critical crack parameter Bwas defined to describe the influence of the critical crack when the stress was at the peak, while a parameter bwas introduced to represent the distribution of the average initial fractures. The parameter mof a fractured rock contained the influences of critical crack (B), confining pressure (σ3) and initial fractures (b). Then the triaxial test on naturally fractured limestones was conducted to verify the modification of the parameter m. From the ultrasonic test and loading test results of limestones, the parameter mcan be obtained, which indicated that the confining pressure at a high level reduced the differences of mamong all the specimens. The confining pressure σ3had an exponential impact on m, while the critical crack parameter Bhad a negative correlation with m. Then the expression of mfor a naturally fractured limestone was also proposed.

The downstaging of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been confirmed to benefit liver transplantation (LT) patients whose tumors are beyond the transplantation criteria. Milan criteria (MC), a tumor size and number-based assessment, is currently used as the endpoint in these patients. However, many studies believe that tumor biological behavior should be added to the evaluation criteria for downstaging efficacy. Hence, this study aimed to explore the feasibility of Hangzhou criteria (HC), which introduced tumor grading and alpha-fetoprotein in addition to tumor size and number, as an endpoint of downstaging.

Background: In the field of personalized health, it is often difficult for individuals to obtain professional knowledge to solve their practical problems timely and accurately. While there are some applications that can get targeted information, they often fail to function properly in nonideal environments, and they cannot achieve precise answers to individual users. Therefore, how to establish an information capture model based on big data and combine it with intelligent search is an important issue in the field of personalized health. Objective: This paper starts with the information acquisition and intelligent recommendation in the field of personalized health, and proposes a natural scene information acquisition and analysis model based on deep learning, focusing on improving the recognition rate of text in natural scenes and achieving targeted smart search to allow users to get more accurate personalized health advice. Methods: In this model, natural scene information is processed from four aspects: targeted big data collection and search, connected text proposal network text detection algorithm and projectionbased text segmentation, capsule network text recognition and result analysis. The model reduces recognition bias due to problems such as special filming conditions and photographic techniques by using deep learning algorithms. At the same time, the data mining has also improved the pertinence of the results analysis. Results: The proposed model is applied to analyze the user's nutrient intake requirements. The results show that the method achieves 83% prediction accuracy on the nutrient composition table dataset, and its performance is better than current convolutional neural network applications. And the model can get accurate personalized data to provide users with dietary advice. Conclusion: This model combines deep learning and data mining methods to obtain intelligent solutions at a professional level by uploading target information images in non-ideal environments, and is suitable for accurate analysis of problems in personalized health area.

Van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures, artificial stacks of two-dimensional materials, present an exciting platform to explore new physical phenomena and unique applications. An important and increasingly recognized factor limiting the electrical and optical performance of heterostructure samples is the presence of interfacial contamination. In published work reporting various heterostructure fabrication methods, evidence for the cleanliness of samples is often presented as optical and atomic force microscopy images, typically exhibiting a completely flat topography. In this work, we demonstrate that such samples may nonetheless contain a uniformly thin layer of contaminants at the heterostructure interface. As alternatives, we propose two robust visualization methods that are highly sensitive to such residues, based on photoluminescence mapping and on selective solvent diffusion. The detection capability and straightforward implementation of these two imaging techniques make them powerful tools to assess and improve the cleanliness of a wide variety of fabrication techniques for heterostructures comprising any combination of vdW materials.

The paper proposes an Internet of Vehicles (IoV)-based Accident Prediction and Prevention System that leverages the Internet of Things (IoT) to tackle the road safety challenges arising from the increased rate and volume of traffic due to population growth. In order to enhance road safety and efficiency, the IoV devices enable real-time data transmission and analysis. The proposed multi-tier framework tracks vehicle and roadside unit (RSU) data, encompassing road traffic conditions and vehicle data. The framework integrates vehicles, road traffic, weather conditions, and external factors. On a cloud-based control server, the proposed Spatio-Temporal Conv-Long Short-Term Memory Autoencoder (STCLA) framework deals with and analyzes the resulting data. This research addresses road safety on the Internet of Vehicles via DL. It proposes a novel framework for real-time accident prevention and prediction, demonstrating its effectiveness and potential impact. In a year-long research in Hubei Province, China, data from two road segments demonstrated a substantial boost in predictive accuracy, achieving an Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve (AUROC) score of 0.94.

Background:CNS involvement (CNSi) is a rare and often fatal event, occurring in around 5% of patients (pts) with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) during primary treatment or shortly after completion (SCNSL). Furthermore, the potential mechanisms of CNS dissemination were limited. Circulating tumor DNA from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF-ctDNA) has played an important part in the application of liquid biopsy in CNS cancers. In this study, we provided new insights into the feasibility of using CSF-ctDNA as an essential tool for CNSi diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation specifically in newly diagnosed (ND) DLBCL pts.

Background: Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) are a set of rare and highly heterogeneous tumors of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) with inferior outcomes. Chidamide is a novel benzamide class of histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor (HDACi) that was approved by the Chinese Food and Drug Administration in 2014 for the treatment of relapsed or refractory (R/R) PTCL patients. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of chidamide as a maintenance therapy after induction or salvage treatment in patients with PTCLs.

Background:Chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia (CIT) is a common cause of chemotherapy dose reductions and treatment delays. With applications of recombinant human interleukin 11 (rhIL-11) and recombinant human thrombopoietin (rhTPO), outcomes of patients with CIT have improved significantly. however，some patients with severe thrombocytopenia still have poor responses to the above therapies. Avatrombopag is an orally administered thrombopoietin receptor agonist and can stimulate thrombopoiesis in haematopoietic stem cells. Avatrombopag has been approved in the USA, Europe, and China for thrombocytopenia in patients with chronic liver disease who are scheduled to undergo a surgery. It also has been approved for patients with chronic immune thrombocytopenia who are unresponsive to previous treatments in the USA and Europe. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of avatrombopag in the treatment of refractory CIT.

Based on our research,sensor protective film cause the node corrosion can be literal. With a replace of a neutral antistatic agent, issue such as node corrosion can be addressed. The results showed that the higher PH would increase the risk of product failure. We also investigated the mechanism of node corrosion and a reaction of the metal and OH− or H+ mechanism is proposed. The OH− or H+ was separating from Sensor protective film. This research can be used for guiding the production of sensor protective film. AbstractRough function is one of interesting new directions of the classical Pawlak rough set theory. This paper presents a generalized rough function with one variable under the framework of classical Pawlak rough set theory. In the definition of generalized rough function, we extend the domain of the classical rough function from the general natural number set to integer set, and then the rough function with one variable defined on an integer set is obtained. After that, we investigate the basic properties of the proposed rough function with one variable base on the classical function analysis theory in detail. Furthermore, some interesting results about the rough function with one variable over integer set are given and the relationship between the existing literatures is discussed. The contribution of this is twofold: one is present a new concept of rough function with one variable over the integer set. Another is of enriches the basis of theory of classical Pawlak rough set and also extends the areas of the applications.

In this paper, the electronic structure in armchair graphene nanoribbons (AGNRs) and graphene nanoribbons doped B at the edge (B-AGNRs) are obtained based on the first principle theory. It shows that the band gap has the oscillation characteristic whose period is 3. The band gap oscillating characteristic gradually vanishes and tends to be stable after doping B at graphene nanoribbons edge. This provides a theoretical guidance for developing the stable graphene nanodevices.

The electronic structure and optical properties of GaP were calculated using generalized gradients in density functional theory. The Bonn effective charge, optical frequency dielectric constant and the LO-TO splitting value were calculated by density functional theory perturbation method.

Interleukin-37b (IL-37b), a vital negative regulator of the innate immune system, has been reported to be a tumor inhibitor in different type of cancers. However, little is known about the relationship between IL-37b and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The present study aimed to investigate the potential roles of IL-37b in HCC progression.
