The prepared Mn-Ce/CNTs catalyst was tested with Temperature-Programmed Desorption (TPD) in this experiment. The adsorption – desorption of NO, NH3, O2 on the surface of catalyst were studied and the mechanism of SCR was analyzed. The conclusions were as follows: NH3was easily absorbed on the surface of Mn-Ce/CNTs catalyst for its significant competitive advantage; it can restrain the absorption of NO. The adsorption performance of NH3 on catalyst surface was far greater than NO. When NO, O2 adsorbed on the catalyst at the same time, the desorption amount of NO from catalyst significantly was less than the NO absorbed only. This shows that the O2 can promote the adsorption of NO on the catalyst in SCR system.

Based on the removal of SO2 as the research background, this paper focuses on the research of mono-component experiment and orthogonal experiment of compound sulfur-fixing agent composed of shell powder and red mud (at the mass ratio of 8:2) at the temperature of 1000°C and Ca/S was 2.0, by adding manganese dioxide, fly ash, magnesium oxide and potassium carbonate as the sulfur-fixing additive. The experimental results showed that the sulfur fixation capacity of desulfurizer is increased to different extents and the optimal ratio to additive is obtained after addition of the additive.

In this paper the harm of Cd in soil and current situation of soil contaminated by Cd were discussed, and then the remediation technologies of Cd contaminated soils, which included engineering remediation methods, chemical remediation methods, bioremediation methods and agriculture remediation methods at home and abroad were roundly introduced. At the same time, pointed out existing problems and proposed research directions in the future.

Nano-catalyst was prepared in the lab. Non-thermal plasma was generated by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD). Through nano-catalyst coupled with non-thermal plasma, a series of experiments for toluene decomposition were carried out. Based on reactor input energy density and removal efficiency and energy efficiency and inhibition for O3 formation, the load amount MnOx catalyst on the surface of γ-Al2O3 pellets were compared in the experiment. The results show the catalysis performance of 10 wt% MnOx/γ-Al2O3 coupled with non-thermal plasma resulted in higher removal efficiency of toluene and better energy efficiency. At the same time, 10 wt% MnOx/γ-Al2O3 operated on a better inhibition for O3 formation in the gas exhaust.

A series of experiments were performed for toluene removal from a gaseous influent at normal temperature and atmospheric pressure by adsorption & non-thermal plasma strength & nano-catalysis technology. Non-thermal plasma was generated by dielectric barrier discharge. Sorbent & nano-catalyst were called combined catalyst which included MnO2/γ-Al2O3 and nano-Ba0.8Sr0.2Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 catalyst. MnO2/γ-Al2O3 has an advantage for ozone removal, while nano-Ba0.8Sr0.2Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 is a kind of good material for improving energy utilize rate. The results showed the synergistic technology resulted in greater enhancement of toluene removal efficiency and energy efficiency and a better inhibition for O3 formation in the gas exhaust. Based on data analysis of FT-IR, the experiment discussed decomposition mechanism and reaction process of toluene. The results showed that synergic effect could control byproducts effectively.

Urchin-like Cu-W18O49 and flower-like Cu-WO3 structures were successfully synthesized using a hydrothermal process followed by calcination. The synthesized products were characterized using XRD, SEM, and TEM. The results revealed that the as-prepared urchin-like and flower-like samples with monoclinic structures, which were approximately 1 μm and 1-2 μm, respectively, possessed microflower architecture assembled by the nanosheet. In addition, the gas sensing properties of monoclinic-structured Cu-WO3 to acetone were measured using a static state gas sensing test system. The sensor based on the flower-like Cu-WO3 nanostructures, which were calcined at 600°C, exhibited high sensitivity toward 10 ppm acetone at an optimum temperature of 110°C, and the maximum sensitivity reached 40, which was approximately four times higher than that of urchin-like WO3 that was annealed at 300°C. The sensitivity was improved by increasing the acetone concentration. The detection limit was as low as 1 ppm. Using linear fit, the sensor was determined to be sufficiently sensitive to detect acetone in a detection range of 1 to 10 ppm even in the presence of interfering gases, which suggests that this type of sensor has excellent selectivity and has the potential for use in acetone gas sensors in the future.
