During the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Ukrainian power stations have become prime targets for Russian attacks. As a result, power outages have left many civilians without heating during the winter. To counter the demoralization caused by these attacks, the Kyiv region's police have set up "warming tents" or "points of invincibility." These tents, which are the size of a tennis court, are heated by wood-burning stoves and provide relief from the cold for up to 1,000 people each day. The community has come together to support this effort, with local businesses providing firewood and supermarkets offering cookies and candies. The tents have been decorated with Christmas trees to bring cheer and hope to those in despair. [Extracted from the article]
