Abstract

Cuba is currently involved in the transition from analog to digital television broadcasting. This paper provides a way of implementing the channel encoding stage of the Chinese Digital Terrestrial Television standard DTMB via FPGA technology. On this basis, a deep analysis on the theory of BCH and LDPC codes was carried out, resulting in the proposal of a set of logic algorithms to their design in an intellectual property module.
