The United States-based paper manufacturer and supplier, Office Depot reported that sales of recycled paper are increasing indicating corporate commitment to promoting environmentally-sensitive products and a testament to the growing public and corporate adoption of their quality recycled paper. The company also reported that nearly two of every three sheets of paper sold in the United States by Office Depot in 2004 contained recycled content. The company also provided statistics on the number of trees conserved, reduction in energy consumption, emission reductions, elimination of solid wastes and wastewater.
