Abstract

The article speculates on how news and information will be produced, presented, and delivered in the future. Newspapers around the world spend more on printing and distribution of their papers, leaving minimal percentage for the production of content. A survey of journalism students from Australia reveals that 90% prefer news from on line or television. According to Forrester Research, about 2.2 billion is estimated to be on line by 2013. It says that lifelong learning, innovation and creativity is the key to journalism's success in the future.
