Abstract
Announces the increase of technical papers submitted to the Optical Fiber Communication conference held on February 21-26, 1999 in San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. Factors that contributed to the growth of the OFC; Description of the categories of the technical papers submitted.
This article presents a preview of the Design Conference in San Diego, California, for the integrated circuit and system design industry. Tracks for the technical program include: logic design and test; embedded systems; nanometer analysis and simulation; and physical circuit design. Attendees will be able to choose from hundreds of panels, papers, sessions, workshops and tutorials. A number of established vendors and startups of the EDA software will display the latest in electronic-system level tools and methodologies. INSET: A DEEP AND VARIED TECHNICAL PROGRAM.
Information about several papers discussed at the Military & Aerospace Electronics forum which was held in San Diego, California in March 12, 2008 is presented. One of the event's speaker was Marc Couture of Mercury Computer Systems, in which he discussed about how chip-level components designed specifically for thermal efficiency. He also discussed how multi-core devices can double power efficiency. The forum was focused on how innovation in COTS electronics affects defense application.
