The article offers information on the molecular weight analysis of glatiramer acetate and related compounds by size-exclusion chromatography with multi-angle light scattering detection. It mentions application of the method for comparison of Copaxone and Glatopa samples and determination of equivalence is described.

The resonant performance of T-shaped microstrip resonators, a kind of stepped-impedance resonator (SIR), is computed and analyzed. Two novel SRl filters, a double-T-shaped bandstop filter and a double-H-shaped bandpass filter, are designed and their performances are calculated and optimized. The results show that the performance of the filters can be effectively improved by using defected ground structures (DGS), which suppress spurious responses by rejecting harmonics in the microwave circuits. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated ones. The proposed filters have advantages such as a simple structure, wide bandwidth and high attenuation, and are quite useful in future applications in RF circuits. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article, the stop-band characteristics of cornplementary split ring resonators (CSRR) and their applications to microstrip band-stop filters are proposed. The equivalent circuit model of a unit CSRR is applied to explain its characteristics and the parameters of a circuit model are extracted from EM simulation and circuit theory. Two types of novel compact microstrip band-stop filters based on CSRRs are proposed and their frequency responses are simulated and measured. The measurements are in agreement with the simulations. In this article, the stop-band characteristics of a novel defected microstrip structure (DMS) are studied and its application to a low pass filter is proposed. The equivalent circuit model of the unit defected microstrip structure is used to explain the stop-band characteristic at a certain frequency and the parameters of the circuit model are extracted from EM simulation and circuit theory. Two types of three-pole low pass filters and a type of five-pole low pass filter are proposed and optimized as applications of DMS.
