This article discusses a new method for synthesizing aryl carboxylic acids from arylacetylenes through ambient electro-oxidation. The method eliminates the need for transition metal catalysts and extra acids/bases, making it a mild and environmentally friendly process. The reaction conditions and substrate scope are explored, and the method exhibits good functional group tolerance and high yields. The article also provides information on various organic compounds, including their physical properties and spectroscopic data, which can be useful for researchers studying these compounds.
