Abstract

The article discusses the highlights of the International Academic Conference on Underground Space held on November 18-19, 2006 in Beijing, China, organized by the China Civil Engineering Society (CCES), Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME) and Urban Planning Society of China (UPSC).
