The article presents information on the appointment of Guy D. Holliday, director of engineering and maintenance operations for the paper "The New York Times," has been named as the Vice President for advertising sales. This promotion gives him the responsibility for managing The Time's classified advertising sales and its eastern national sales offices, among other duties. He joined the newspaper in 1996 and had been assistant plant manager at its printing plant in Edison, New Jersey. Now, he will report to Jyll F. Holzman, senior vice president for advertising.
