Abstract

The article offers structural engineering news briefs as of March 2014 including the construction of paper airplane and lift having capacity of 1,900 tons. Topics including 1:60 model of a Boeing 777 jumbo jet being assembled in San Francisco from paper cut out of manila folders and Left Coast Lifter which is 400 feet long and 100 feet wide and with a lift capacity of nearly 1,900 tons and it also won an award in the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations' 2011 awards program.
