In this brief, we consider the exponential synchronization of chaotic memristive neural networks with time-varying delays using the Lyapunov functional method and inequality technique. The dynamic analysis here employs the theory of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side as introduced by Filippov. The designing laws in the synchronization of neural networks are proposed via state or output coupling. In addition, the new proposed algebraic criteria are very easy to verify, and they also enrich and improve the earlier publications. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This paper is concerned with the global exponential dissipativity of memristive inertial neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. By constructing appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, some new sufficient conditions ensuring global exponential dissipativity of memristive inertial neural networks are derived. Moreover, the globally exponential attractive sets and positive invariant sets are also presented here. In addition, the new proposed results here complement and extend the earlier publications on conventional or memristive neural network dynamical systems. This paper is concerned with the global exponential stability on a class of delayed neural networks with state-dependent switching. Under the novel conditions, some sufficient criteria ensuring exponential stability of the proposed system are obtained. In particular, the obtained conditions complement and improve earlier publications on conventional neural networks with continuous or discontinuous right-hand side. The main aim of this paper is to discuss the neutral predator–prey model with Hassell–Varley type functional response and two time-varying delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions by applying the coincidence degree theorem. Abstract: This paper investigates the exponential synchronization of coupled memristor-based chaotic neural networks with both time-varying delays and general activation functions. And here, we adopt nonsmooth analysis and control theory to handle memristor-based chaotic neural networks with discontinuous right-hand side. In particular, several new criteria ensuring exponential synchronization of two memristor-based chaotic neural networks are obtained via periodically intermittent control. In addition, the new proposed results here are very easy to verify and also complement, extend the earlier publications. Abstract: The paper analyzes a general memristor-based recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays (DRNNs). The dynamic analysis in the paper employs results from the theory of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side as introduced by Filippov, and some new conditions concerning global exponential stability are obtained. In addition, these conditions do not require the activation functions to be differentiable, the connection weight matrices to be symmetric and the delay functions to be differentiable, our results are mild and more general. Abstract: A model to calculate the welding temperature and residual stress was built using finite element code ABAQUS, and a subroutine of creep damage was also developed. Based on the coupling of welding residual stress and creep damage, the welding residual stress and creep damage of a tube made of Cr5Mo steel were simulated. This method can obtain the distributions of complex residual stress, creep damage and stress relaxation, which provide a reference for discussing the effect of residual stress on creep damage. The results show that the welding residual stress is very large at initial stage, then it is relaxed in a short time at high temperature. The distribution of creep and damage is mainly decided by the as-welding residual stress. Welding residual stress has a great effect on the creep and damage, which provides a reference for the design and life prediction of high temperature component. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In this paper, we consider a differential–algebraic biological economic system with time delay where the model with Holling type II functional response incorporates a constant prey refuge and prey harvesting. By considering time delay as bifurcation parameter, we analyze the stability and the Hopf bifurcation of the differential–algebraic biological economic system based on the new normal form approach of the differential–algebraic system and the normal form approach and the center manifold theory. Abstract: In this paper, we analyze the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the biological economic system based on the new normal form and the Hopf bifurcation theorem. The basic model we consider is owed to a ratio-dependent predator–prey system with harvesting, compared with other researches on dynamics of predator–prey population, this system is described by differential-algebraic equations due to economic factor. Here μ as bifurcation parameter, it is found that periodic solutions arise from stable stationary states when the parameter μ increases close to a certain limit.
