The article presents a case study of the Dr Pepper TEN mid-calorie soda from American soft drink company Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Topics discussed include the controversial "It's not for women" advertising campaign, lack of consumer enthusiasm, and weaknesses of diet carbonated soft drinks in its message. Information regarding the challenging segment of the soda market is also provided.
