The interference-free double potential wells realized by the two-photon driving Kerr nonlinear resonator (KNR) can stabilize cat states and protect them from decoherence through a large energy gap. In this work, we use a parametrically driving KNR to propose a novel engineering Hamiltonian that can stabilize arbitrary cat states and independently manipulate the superposed coherent states to move arbitrarily in phase space. This greater degree of control allows us to make the two potential wells collide and merge, generating a collision state with many novel properties. Furthermore, the potential wells carrying quantum states move adiabatically in phase space produce quantum holonomy. We explore the quantum holonomy of collision states for the first time and propose a holonomy-free preparation method for arbitrary cat states. Additionally, we develop a universal holonomic quantum computing protocol utilizing the quantum holonomy of coherent and collision states, including single-qubit rotation gates and multi-qubit control gates. Finally, we propose an experimentally feasible physical realization in superconducting circuits to achieve the Hamiltonian described above. We developed an inductive energy participation ratio (IEPR) method and a streamlined procedure for simulating and verifying superconducting quantum chips. These advancements are increasingly vital in the context of large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computing. Our approach efficiently extracts the key linear and nonlinear characteristic parameters, as well as the Hamiltonian of a quantum chip layout. In theory, the IEPR method provides insights into the relationship between energy distribution and representation transformation. We demonstrate its practicality by applying it to quantum chip layouts, efficiently obtaining crucial characteristic parameters in both bare and normal representations-an endeavor that challenges existing methods. Macroscopic cat states have been widely studied to illustrate fundamental principles of quantum physics as well as their application in quantum information processing. In this paper, we propose a quantum speedup method for adiabatic creation of cat states in a Kerr nonlinear resonator via gradient-descent optimal adiabatic control. By simultaneously adiabatic tuning the the cavity detuning and driving field strength, the width of minimum energy gap between the target trajectory and non-adiabatic trajectory can be widen, which allows us to speed up the evolution along the adiabatic path. Compared with the previous proposal of preparing the cat state by only controlling two-photon pumping strength in a Kerr nonlinear resonator, our method can prepare the target state with much shorter time, as well as a high fidelity and a large non-classical volume. It is worth noting that the cat state prepared by our method is also robust against single-photon loss very well. Moreover, when our proposal has a large initial detuning, it will creates a large-size cat state successfully. This proposal of preparing cat states can be implemented in superconducting quantum circuits, which provides a quantum state resource for quantum information encoding and fault-tolerant quantum computing.

Two-dimensional (2D) materials provide extraordinary opportunities for exploring phenomena arising in atomically thin crystals. Beginning with the first isolation of graphene, mechanical exfoliation has been a key to provide high-quality 2D materials but despite improvements it is still limited in yield, lateral size and contamination. Here we introduce a contamination-free, one-step and universal Au-assisted mechanical exfoliation method and demonstrate its effectiveness by isolating 40 types of single-crystalline monolayers, including elemental 2D crystals, metal-dichalcogenides, magnets and superconductors. Most of them are of millimeter-size and high-quality, as shown by transfer-free measurements of electron microscopy, photo spectroscopies and electrical transport. Large suspended 2D crystals and heterojunctions were also prepared with high-yield. Enhanced adhesion between the crystals and the substrates enables such efficient exfoliation, for which we identify a common rule that underpins a universal route for producing large-area monolayers and thus supports studies of fundamental properties and potential application of 2D materials.
