Recommendation systems usually recommend the existing contents to different users. However, in comparison to static recommendation methods, a recommendation logic that dynamically adjusts based on user interest preferences may potentially attract a larger user base. Thus, we consider paraphrasing existing content based on the interests of the users to modify the content to better align with the preferences of users. In this paper, we propose a new task named Target-Audience Oriented Content Paraphrase aims to generate more customized contents for the target audience. We introduce the task definition and the corresponding framework for the proposed task and the creation of the corresponding datasets. We utilize the Large Language Models (LLMs) and Large Vision Models (LVMs) to accomplish the base implementation of the TOP framework and provide the referential baseline results for the proposed task., Comment: 8 pages

In our previous study, we introduced a machine-learning technique, namely CMBFSCNN, for the removal of foreground contamination in cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization data. This method was successfully employed on actual observational data from the Planck mission. In this study, we extend our investigation by considering the CMB lensing effect in simulated data and utilizing the CMBFSCNN approach to recover the CMB lensing B-mode power spectrum from multi-frequency observational maps. Our method is first applied to simulated data with the performance of CMB-S4 experiment. We achieve reliable recovery of the noisy CMB Q (or U) maps with a mean absolute difference of $0.016\pm0.008\ \mu$K (or $0.021\pm0.002\ \mu$K) for the CMB-S4 experiment. To address the residual instrumental noise in the foreground-cleaned map, we employ a "half-split maps" approach, where the entire dataset is divided into two segments sharing the same sky signal but having uncorrelated noise. Using cross-correlation techniques between two recovered half-split maps, we effectively reduce instrumental noise effects at the power spectrum level. As a result, we achieve precise recovery of the CMB EE and lensing B-mode power spectra. Furthermore, we also extend our pipeline to full-sky simulated data with the performance of LiteBIRD experiment. As expected, various foregrounds are cleanly removed from the foreground contamination observational maps, and recovered EE and lensing B-mode power spectra exhibit excellent agreement with the true results. Using the gauge-gravity duality, we investigate the fermionic correlation function in the D(-1)-D3 brane system which describes the instantonic plasma in holography. In this system, the charge of the D(-1) brane as the D-instanton gives the gluon condensate. To simplify the holographic setup, we first reduce briefly the ten-dimensional supergravity background produced by D(-1)-D3-branes to an equivalently five-dimensional background. Then using the standard method for computing the Green function in the AdS/CFT dictionary, we derive the equations for the fermionic correlation functions and solve them numerically with the infalling boundary condition. Our numerical results illustrate that the fermionic correlation function as spectral function includes two branches of the dispersion curves whose behavior is very close to the results obtained from the method of hard thermal loop. And the effective mass generated by the medium effect of fermion splits into two values due to the spin-dependent interactions induced by instantons. Inspired by the recent experimental progress on the $T_{c\bar{s}0}^a(2900)^{0/++}$, the fully open tetraquark spectrum with the configuration of $[8]_{[c\bar{s}]} \otimes [8]_{[q \bar{q^\prime}]}$ is systematically investigated by the QCD sum rules. In this article, we concentrate on the quantum numbers $J^{P}=0^{+}/0^{-}/1^{+}/1^{-}$. Firstly, we construct four scalar currents ($J^{P}=0^+$) in the form of $[8]_{[c\bar{s}]} \otimes [8]_{[u\bar{d}]}$ type tetraquark structure and perform the analysis of the QCD sum rules, where we consider the leading order contributions up to dimension 11 in the operator product expansion and retain contributions linear in the strange quark mass $m_s$. Our results, $M_{0^{+}}^A = 2.91_{-0.20}^{+0.20}~\text{GeV}$ and $M_{0^{+}}^C = 2.98_{-0.21}^{+0.20}~\text{GeV}$, are consistent with the experimentally discovered $T_{c\bar{s}0}^a(2900)^{++}$ within error margins. Thus, our calculation supports classifying $T_{c\bar{s}0}^a(2900)^{++}$ as a tetraquark state with the $[8]_{[c\bar{s}]} \otimes [8]_{u \bar{d}}$ color configuration. Moreover, on the basis of $J^P=0^+$, we also study tetraquark states with quantum numbers $J^P=0^-$, $1^+$, and $1^-$, predicting two new hadronic states awaiting experimental verification for each quantum number. Their masses are as follows: $M_{0^{-}}^{A}=3.45_{-0.10}^{+0.12}~\text{GeV}$, $M_{0^{-}}^{D}=3.20_{-0.19}^{+0.17}~\text{GeV}$, $M_{1^{+}}^{A}=2.95_{-0.19}^{+0.19}~\text{GeV}$, $M_{1^{+}}^{C}={2.95_{-0.19}^{+0.19}}~\text{GeV}$, $M_{1^{-}}^{A}={3.23_{-0.10}^{+0.11}}~\text{GeV}$ and $M_{1^{-}}^{D}={3.23_{-0.11}^{+0.09}}~\text{GeV}$. We study the out-of-time-order correlators (OTOC) of Skyrmion as baryon in the D0-D4/D8 model which is expected to be holographically dual to QCD with instantons as D0-branes or with a non-zero theta angle. Baryon states are identified to the excitations of the Skyrmion which are described by a holographic quantum mechanical system in this model. By employing the definition of OTOC in quantum mechanics, we derive the formulas and demonstrate explicitly the numerical calculations of the OTOC. Our calculation illustrates the quantum OTOC with imaginary Lyapunov coefficient indicates the possibly metastable baryonic status in the presence of the instanton while the classical OTOC can not, thus it reveals the instantonic or theta-dependent features of QCD are dominated basically by its quantum properties. Furthermore, the OTOC also implies the baryonic phase becomes really chaotic with real Lyapunov exponent if the instanton charge increases sufficiently which agrees with the unstable baryon spectrum presented in this model. We develop a general framework for studying the spin alignment $\rho_{00}$ for flavorless vector mesons by using the gauge/gravity duality. Focusing on the dilepton production through vector meson decay, we derive the relation between production rates at each spin channel and meson's spectral function, which can be evaluated by holographic models for a strongly coupled system. As examples, we study $\rho_{00}$ for $J/\psi$ and $\phi$ mesons, induced by the relative motion to a thermal background, within the soft-wall model. We show that $\rho_{00}$ in the helicity frame for $J/\psi$ and $\phi$ mesons have positive and negative deviations from 1/3 at $T=150$ MeV, respectively, which consequently leads to different properties for their global spin alignments., Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures

We study the mass spectra and spin alignment of vector meson $J/\psi$ in a thermal magnetized background using a generalized theoretical framework based on gauge/gravity duality. Utilizing a soft wall model for the QGP background and a massive vector field for the $J/\psi$ meson, we delve into the meson's spectral function and spin parameters $(\lambda_{\theta},\, \lambda_\varphi,\,\lambda_{\theta\varphi})$ for different cases, assessing their response to variations in magnetic field strength, momentum, and temperature. We initially examine scenarios where a meson's momentum aligns parallel to the magnetic field in helicity frame. Our results reveal a magnetic field-induced positive $\lambda_\theta^\text{H}$ for low meson momentum, transitioning to negative with increased momentum. As a comparison, we also study the case of momentum perpendicular to the magnetic field and find the direction of magnetic field does not affect the qualitative behavior for the $eB$-dependence of $\lambda_\theta^\text{H}$. Moreover, we apply our model to real heavy-ion collisions for three different spin quantization directions. Further comparisons with experimental data show qualitative agreement for spin parameters $\lambda_{\theta}$ and $\lambda_\varphi$ in the helicity and Collins-Soper frames., Comment: 27 pages, 8 figures

In flat-band materials, the strong Coulomb interaction between electrons can lead to exotic physical phenomena. Recently, $\alpha$-In$_2$Se$_3$ thin films were found to possess ferroelectricity and flat bands. In this work, using first-principles calculations, we find that for the monolayer, there is a Weyl point at $\Gamma$ in the flat band, where the inclusion of the spin-orbit coupling opens a gap. Shifting the Fermi level into the spin-orbit gap gives rise to nontrivial band topology, which is preserved for the bilayer regardless of the interlayer polarization couplings. We further calculate the Chern number and edge states for both the monolayer and bilayer, for which the results suggest that they become quantum anomalous Hall insulators under appropriate dopings. Moreover, we find that the doping-induced magnetism for In$_2$Se$_3$ bilayer is strongly dependent on the interlayer polarization coupling. Therefore, doping the flat bands in In$_2$Se$_3$ bilayer can also yield multiferroicity, where the magnetism is electrically tunable as the system transforms between different polarization states. Vector-like leptons (VLLs) as one kind of the most intriguing particles, have been widely concerned in several extensions of the Standard Model (SM). In this work, we explore the discovery potential of VLLs via pair production in the context of models that satisfy asymptotic safety at the International Linear Collider (ILC). The expected sensitivities of the ILC with the center of mass energy $\sqrt{s} =$ 1 TeV and the integrated luminosity $\mathcal{L}$ = 1 ab$^{-1}$ to the parameter space of this kind of VLL models are derived. The results we obtained show that, for the VLL with mass $M_F$ in the region of $M_{F}\in$ [101GeV, 463GeV], the Yukawa coupling $\kappa $ can be as low as $\kappa \in$ [0.032, 0.098]., Comment: 14 pages, 5 figures, to be published in Nuclear Physics B

In this work, we investigate the worldvolume fermion on the flavor brane in the D0-D4/D8 model which is holographically equivalent to the four-dimensional QCD with a theta term. The action for the worldvolume fermion is obtained by the T-duality rules in string theory and we accordingly derive its effectively five-dimensional, canonical four-dimensional forms by using the systematical dimensional reduction and decomposition of spinor. Afterwards, we employ the AdS/CFT dictionary in order to evaluate the two-point correlation function as the spectral function for the worldvolume fermion and interpret the fermion as baryon by analyzing its quantum number with the baryon vertex in holography. In this sense, the interacted action involving the worldvolume fermion and gauge field on the flavor brane are finally derived in holography which describes the various interaction of meson and baryon with the theta angle in large-N limit. As the out-of-time-order correlator (OTOC) is a measure of quantum chaos and an important observable in the context of AdS/CFT, we investigate the OTOC of holographic Skyrmion which is described by an analytical quantum mechanical system from the D4/D8 model (as the holographic QCD). By employing the OTOC defined in quantum mechanics, we derive the formulas and demonstrate the numerical calculations of the OTOC explicitly which is also available for the general case with central force field. Our numerical evaluation illustrates the behaviors of the OTOC with large $N_{c}$, however the expected exponential growth of OTOC is not obtained. Besides, we also take a look at the classical limit of the OTOC and analyze the associated behaviors. At the end of this work, we additionally study the OTOC with three-dimensional Coulomb potential, as another example for the central force field, to support our analyses of the general properties of quantum OTOC., Comment: 30 pages, 8 figures

The genuine entanglement of Dirac fields for an N-partite system is investigated in Schwarzschild spacetime and the analysis is carried out using the single-mode approximation. Due to the Hawking effect, quantum entanglement is divided into two parts physically accessible and inaccessible entanglement. We obtain a general analytic expression of genuine N-partite entanglement that includes all accessible and inaccessible entanglement in a Schwarzschild black hole. Unlike bosonic entanglement, the accessible N-partite entanglement of Dirac fields monotonically decreases to a nonzero value with the Hawking temperature. Interestingly, the inaccessible N-partite entanglement is a monotonic or non-monotonic function of the Hawking temperature, depending on the ratio between accessible and inaccessible modes, in contrast to bipartite or tripartite entanglement that is only a monotonic function of the Hawking temperature. Finally, we obtain two restrictive relationships for the quantum information of the black hole. Pulsar search is always the basis of pulsar navigation, gravitational wave detection and other research topics. Currently, the volume of pulsar candidates collected by Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) shows an explosive growth rate that has brought challenges for its pulsar candidate filtering System. Particularly, the multi-view heterogeneous data and class imbalance between true pulsars and non-pulsar candidates have negative effects on traditional single-modal supervised classification methods. In this study, a multi-modal and semi-supervised learning based pulsar candidate sifting algorithm is presented, which adopts a hybrid ensemble clustering scheme of density-based and partition-based methods combined with a feature-level fusion strategy for input data and a data partition strategy for parallelization. Experiments on both HTRU (The High Time Resolution Universe Survey) 2 and FAST actual observation data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could excellently identify the pulsars: On HTRU2, the precision and recall rates of its parallel mode reach 0.981 and 0.988. On FAST data, those of its parallel mode reach 0.891 and 0.961, meanwhile, the running time also significantly decrease with the increment of parallel nodes within limits. So, we can get the conclusion that our algorithm could be a feasible idea for large scale pulsar candidate sifting of FAST drift scan observation.

Due to the success of large-scale visual-language pretraining (VLP) models and the widespread use of image-text retrieval in industry areas, it is now critically necessary to reduce the model size and streamline their mobile-device deployment. Single- and dual-stream model structures are commonly used in image-text retrieval with the goal of closing the semantic gap between textual and visual modalities. While single-stream models use deep feature fusion to achieve more accurate cross-model alignment, dual-stream models are better at offline indexing and fast inference.We propose a Multi-teacher Cross-modality Alignment Distillation (MCAD) technique to integrate the advantages of single- and dual-stream models. By incorporating the fused single-stream features into the image and text features of the dual-stream model, we formulate new modified teacher similarity distributions and features. Then, we conduct both distribution and feature distillation to boost the capability of the student dual-stream model, achieving high retrieval performance without increasing inference complexity.Extensive experiments demonstrate the remarkable performance and high efficiency of MCAD on image-text retrieval tasks. Pre-trained language models have been widely used in dependency parsing task and have achieved significant improvements in parser performance. However, it remains an understudied question whether pre-trained language models can spontaneously exhibit the ability of dependency parsing without introducing additional parser structure in the zero-shot scenario. Document-level event extraction (DEE) faces two main challenges: arguments-scattering and multi-event. Although previous methods attempt to address these challenges, they overlook the interference of event-unrelated sentences during event detection and neglect the mutual interference of different event roles during argument extraction. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel Schema-based Explicitly Aggregating~(SEA) model to address these limitations. SEA aggregates event information into event type and role representations, enabling the decoding of event records based on specific type-aware representations. By detecting each event based on its event type representation, SEA mitigates the interference caused by event-unrelated information. Furthermore, SEA extracts arguments for each role based on its role-aware representations, reducing mutual interference between different roles. Most current Event Extraction (EE) methods focus on the high-resource scenario, which requires a large amount of annotated data and can hardly be applied to low-resource domains. To address EE more effectively with limited resources, we propose the Demonstration-enhanced Schema-guided Generation (DemoSG) model, which benefits low-resource EE from two aspects: Firstly, we propose the demonstration-based learning paradigm for EE to fully use the annotated data, which transforms them into demonstrations to illustrate the extraction process and help the model learn effectively. Secondly, we formulate EE as a natural language generation task guided by schema-based prompts, thereby leveraging label semantics and promoting knowledge transfer in low-resource scenarios. We conduct extensive experiments under in-domain and domain adaptation low-resource settings on three datasets, and study the robustness of DemoSG. The Internal Linear Combination (ILC) method is commonly employed to extract the cosmic microwave background (CMB) signal from multi-frequency observation maps. However, the performance of the ILC method tends to degrade when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is relatively low, particularly when measuring the primordial $B$-modes to detect the primordial gravitational waves. To address this issue, an enhanced version of the ILC method, known as constrained ILC, is proposed. This method is designed to be more suitable for situations with low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by incorporating additional prior foreground information. In our study, we have modified the constraint Needlet ILC method and successfully improved its performance at low SNR. We illustrate our methods using mock data generated from the combination of WMAP, Planck and a ground-based experiment in the northern hemisphere, and the chosen noise level for the ground-based experiment are very conservative which can be easily achieved in the very near future. The results show that the level of foreground residual can be well controlled. In comparison to the standard NILC method, which introduces a bias to the tensor-to-scalar ratio ($r$) of approximately $0.05$, the constrained NILC method exhibits a significantly reduced bias of only around $5\times10^{-3}$ towards $r$ which is much smaller than the statistical error.

In this paper we study the algebra of quantum observables of the Chern-Simons matrix model which was originally proposed by Susskind and Polychronakos to describe electrons in fractional quantum Hall effects. We establish the commutation relations for its generators and study the large $N$ limit of its representation. We show that the large $N$ limit algebra is isomorphic to the uniform in $N$ algebra studied by Costello, which is isomorphic to the deformed double current algebra studied by Guay. Under appropriate scaling limit, we show that the large $N$ limit algebra degenerates to a Lie algebra which admits a surjective map to the affine Lie algebra of $\mathfrak{u}(p)$. This leads to a complete proof of the large $N$ emergence of the $\mathfrak{u}(p)$ current algebra as proposed by Dorey, Tong and Turner. By using the gauge-gravity duality, we investigate the correlation function of flavored fermion in the \mathrm{D}_{p}/\mathrm{D}_{p+4} model as top-down approaches of holographic QCD for p=4,3. The bulk spinor, as the source of the flavored fermion in QCD, is identified to the worldvolume fermion on the flavor \mathrm{D}_{p+4}-branes and the standard form of its action can be therefore obtained by the T-duality rules in string theory. Keeping this in hand, we afterwards generalize the prescription for two-point correlation function in AdS/CFT dictionary into general D-brane backgrounds and apply it to the case of p=4,3, i.e. the D4/D8 and D3/D7 approach respectively. Resultantly, our numerical calculation with the bubble background always displays discrete peaks in the correlation functions which imply the bound states created by the flavored fermions as the confinement in QCD. With the black brane background, the onshell condition illustrated by the correlation function covers basically the dispersion curves of fermion obtained by the hard thermal loop approximation in the hot medium. Finally, we interpret the flavored fermions in the bubble background as baryons by taking into account a baryon vertex, then find the two-point correlation function is able to fit the lowest baryon spectrum. Strongly correlated states are commonly emerged in twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) with magic-angle, where the electron-electron (e-e) interaction U becomes prominent relative to the small bandwidth W of the nearly flat band. However, the stringent requirement of this magic angle makes the sample preparation and the further application facing great challenges. Here, using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and spectroscopy (STS), we demonstrate that the correlation-induced symmetry-broken states can also be achieved in a 3.45{\deg} TBG, via engineering this non-magic-angle TBG into regimes of U/W > 1. We enhance the e-e interaction through controlling the microscopic dielectric environment by using a MoS2 substrate. Simultaneously, the bandwidth of the low-energy van Hove singularity (VHS) peak is reduced by enhancing the interlayer coupling via STM tip modulation. When partially filled, the VHS peak exhibits a giant splitting into two states flanked the Fermi level and shows a symmetry-broken LDOS distribution with a stripy charge order, which confirms the existence of strong correlation effect in our 3.45{\deg} TBG. Our result paves the way for the study and application of the correlation physics in TBGs with a wider range of twist angle.

In order to study the novel gas detection or sensing applications of gallium nitride monolayer (GaN-ML), we mainly focused on the structural, energetic, electronic and magnetic properties of toxic gas molecules (CO, NO) adsorbed on pristine, single vacancy (N-vacancy, Ga-vacancy) defected, and metals (Al, Fe, Pd and Pt) doped GaN-ML using density functional theory (DFT-D2 method) in this work. The calculations demonstrate that pristine GaN-ML is extremely insensitive to CO and NO together with the existence of a weak physisorption nature due to small adsorption energy, charge transfer, and long adsorption distance. It is found that both N-vacancy defected GaN-ML and Fe-doped GaN-ML can significantly increase the adsorption energy and charge transfer for CO. The CO adsorption induces the metallic characteristics of N-vacancy GaN-ML to be converted to the half-metallic characteristics together with 100% spin polarization, and it also drastically changes the magnetic moment, implying that N-vacancy GaN-ML exhibits excellent sensitivity to CO. However, Fe-doped GaN-ML is not conducive to CO detection. Moreover, N-vacancy defected and Pt-doped GaN-ML greatly improve the adsorption ability for NO compared to other substrates, and the presence of stronger orbital hybridization suggests that the interaction between them is chemisorption. Therefore, N-vacancy defected GaN-ML and Pt-doped GaN-ML can serve as potential materials in future NO sensing devices., Comment: 24 pages, 2 tables, 8 figures

The lensing effect of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) is a powerful tool for our study of the distribution of matter in the universe. Currently, the quadratic estimator (EQ) method, which is widely used to reconstruct lensing potential, has been known to be sub-optimal for the low-noise levels polarization data from next-generation CMB experiments. To improve the performance of the reconstruction, other methods, such as the maximum likelihood estimator and machine learning algorithms are developed. In this work, we present a deep convolutional neural network model named the Residual Dense Local Feature U-net (RDLFUnet) for reconstructing the CMB lensing convergence field. By simulating lensed CMB data with different noise levels to train and test network models, we find that for noise levels less than $5\mu$K-arcmin, RDLFUnet can recover the input gravitational potential with a higher signal-to-noise ratio than the previous deep learning and the traditional QE methods at almost the entire observation scales., Comment: 12 pages, 8 figures, accepted by ApJ

Language-based colorization produces plausible and visually pleasing colors under the guidance of user-friendly natural language descriptions. Previous methods implicitly assume that users provide comprehensive color descriptions for most of the objects in the image, which leads to suboptimal performance. In this paper, we propose a unified model to perform language-based colorization with any-level descriptions. We leverage the pretrained cross-modality generative model for its robust language understanding and rich color priors to handle the inherent ambiguity of any-level descriptions. We further design modules to align with input conditions to preserve local spatial structures and prevent the ghosting effect. With the proposed novel sampling strategy, our model achieves instance-aware colorization in diverse and complex scenarios. Extensive experimental results demonstrate our advantages of effectively handling any-level descriptions and outperforming both language-based and automatic colorization methods. Unconventional topological quasiparticles have recently garnered significant attention in the realm of condensed matter physics. Here, based on first-principles calculations and symmetry analysis, we reveal the coexistence of multiple types of interesting unconventional topological quasiparticles in the phonon spectrum of the chiral crystal CsBe$_2$F$_5$. Specifically, we identified eight entangled phonon bands in CsBe$_2$F$_5$, which give rise to various unconventional topological quasiparticles, including the spin-1 Weyl point, the charge-2 Dirac point, the nodal surface, and the hourglass nodal loop. We demonstrate that these unconventional topological quasiparticles are protected by crystal symmetry. We show that there are two large Fermi arcs connecting projections of the bulk spin-1 Weyl point and charge-2 Dirac point on the (001) surface and across the entire surface Brillouin zone. Our work not only elucidates the intriguing topological properties of chiral crystals but also provides an excellent material platform for exploring the fascinating physics associated with multiple types of unconventional topological quasiparticles., Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures

Primordial B-mode detection is one of the main goals of next-generation cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiments. Primordial B-modes are a unique signature of primordial gravitational waves (PGWs). However, the gravitational interaction of CMB photons with large-scale structures will distort the primordial E modes, adding a lensing B-mode component to the primordial B-mode signal. Removing the lensing effect (`delensing') from observed CMB polarization maps will be necessary to improve the constraint of PGWs and obtain a primordial E-mode signal. Here, we introduce a deep convolutional neural network model named multi-input multi-output U-net (MIMO-UNet) to perform CMB delensing. The networks are trained on simulated CMB maps with size $20^{\circ} \times 20^{\circ}$. We first use MIMO-UNet to reconstruct the unlensing CMB polarization ($Q$ and $U$) maps from observed CMB maps. The recovered E-mode power spectrum exhibits excellent agreement with the primordial EE power spectrum. The recovery of the primordial B-mode power spectrum for noise levels of 0, 1, and 2 $\mu$K-arcmin is greater than 98\% at the angular scale of $\ell<150$. We additionally reconstruct the lensing B map from observed CMB maps. The recovery of the lensing B-mode power spectrum is greater than roughly 99\% at the scales of $\ell>200$. We delens observed B-mode power spectrum by subtracting reconstructed lensing B-mode spectrum. The recovery of tensor B-mode power spectrum for noise levels of 0, 1, 2 $\mu$K-arcmin is greater than 98 \% at the angular scales of $\ell<120$. The energy injected from dark matter annihilation and decay processes potentially raises the ionisation of the intergalactic medium and leaves visible footprints on the anisotropy maps of the cosmic microwave background (CMB). Galactic foregrounds emission in the microwave bands contaminate the CMB measurement and may affect the search for dark matter's signature. In this paper, we construct a full CMB data and foreground simulation based on the design of the next-generation ground-based CMB experiments. The foreground residual after the components separation on maps is fully considered in our data analysis, accounting for various contamination from the emission of synchrotron, thermal dust, free-free and spinning dust. We analyse the corresponding sensitivity on dark matter parameters from the temperature and polarization maps, and we find that the CMB foregrounds leave a non-zero yet controllable impact on the sensitivity. Comparing with statistics-only analysis, the CMB foreground residual leads to a factor of at most 19% weakening on energy-injection constraints, depending on the specific dark matter process and experimental configuration. Strong limits on dark matter annihilation rate and decay lifetime can be expected after foreground subtraction., Comment: 6 figures, 2 tables. Band structure for a crystal generally consists of connected components in energy-momentum space, known as band complexes. Here, we explore a fundamental aspect regarding the maximal number of bands that can be accommodated in a single band complex. We show that in principle a band complex can have no finite upper bound for certain space groups. It means infinitely many bands can entangle together, forming a connected pattern stable against symmetry-preserving perturbations. This is demonstrated by our developed inductive construction procedure, through which a given band complex can always be grown into a larger one by gluing a basic building block to it. As a by-product, we demonstrate the existence of arbitrarily large accordion type band structures containing $N_C=4n$ bands, with $n\in\mathbb{N}$., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures

Detection of pulmonary nodules by CT is used for screening lung cancer in early stages.omputer aided diagnosis (CAD) based on deep-learning method can identify the suspected areas of pulmonary nodules in CT images, thus improving the accuracy and efficiency of CT diagnosis. The accuracy and robustness of deep learning models. Method:In this paper, we explore (1) the data augmentation method based on the generation model and (2) the model structure improvement method based on the embedding mechanism. Two strategies have been introduced in this study: a new data augmentation method and a embedding mechanism. In the augmentation method, a 3D pixel-level statistics algorithm is proposed to generate pulmonary nodule and by combing the faked pulmonary nodule and healthy lung, we generate new pulmonary nodule samples. The embedding mechanism are designed to better understand the meaning of pixels of the pulmonary nodule samples by introducing hidden variables. Result: The result of the 3DVNET model with the augmentation method for pulmonary nodule detection shows that the proposed data augmentation method outperforms the method based on generative adversarial network (GAN) framework, training accuracy improved by 1.5%, and with embedding mechanism for pulmonary nodules classification shows that the embedding mechanism improves the accuracy and robustness for the classification of pulmonary nodules obviously, the model training accuracy is close to 1 and the model testing F1-score is 0.90.Conclusion:he proposed data augmentation method and embedding mechanism are beneficial to improve the accuracy and robustness of the model, and can be further applied in other common diagnostic imaging tasks.

Primordial B-mode detection is one of the main goals of current and future cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiments. However, the weak B-mode signal is overshadowed by several Galactic polarized emissions, such as thermal dust emission and synchrotron radiation. Subtracting foreground components from CMB observations is one of the key challenges in searching for the primordial B-mode signal. Here, we construct a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) model, called \texttt{CMBFSCNN} (Cosmic Microwave Background Foreground Subtraction with CNN), which can cleanly remove various foreground components from simulated CMB observational maps at the sensitivity of the CMB-S4 experiment. Noisy CMB Q (or U) maps are recovered with a mean absolute difference of $0.018 \pm 0.023\ \mu$K (or $0.021 \pm 0.028\ \mu$K). To remove the residual instrumental noise from the foreground-cleaned map, inspired by the needlet internal linear combination method, we divide the whole data set into two ``half-split maps,'' which share the same sky signal, but have uncorrelated noise, and perform a cross-correlation technique to reduce the instrumental noise effects at the power spectrum level. We find that the CMB EE and BB power spectra can be precisely recovered with significantly reduced noise effects. Finally, we apply this pipeline to current Planck observations. As expected, various foregrounds are cleanly removed from the Planck observational maps, with the recovered EE and BB power spectra being in good agreement with the official Planck results., Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, 1 table

Qudits with a large Hilbert space to host quantum information are widely utilized in various applications, such as quantum simulation and quantum computation, but the manipulation and scalability of qudits still face challenges. Here, we propose a scheme to directly and locally transfer quantum information from multiple atomic qubits to a single qudit and vice versa in an optical cavity. With the qubit-qudit interaction, our scheme can transfer quantum states efficiently and measurement-independently. In addition, this scheme can be extended to the non-local case, where a high-dimensional maximal entangled state with asymmetric particle numbers can be robustly generated for realizing long-distance quantum communication. Hydrogen, a simple and magic element, has attracted increasing attention for its effective incorporation within solids and powerful manipulation of electronic states. Here, we show that hydrogenation tackles common problems in two-dimensional borophene, e.g., stability and applicability. As a prominent example, a ladder-like boron hydride sheet, named as 2D ladder polyborane, achieves the desired outcome, enjoying the cleanest scenario with an anisotropic and tilted Dirac cone, that can be fully depicted by a minimal two-band tight-binding model. Introducing external fields, such as an electric field or a circularly-polarized light field can effectively induce distinctive massive Dirac fermions, whereupon four types of multi-field-driven topological domain walls hosting tunable chirality and valley indexes are further established. Moreover, the 2D ladder polyborane is thermodynamically stable at room temperature and supports highly switchable Dirac fermions, providing an ideal platform for realizing and exploring the various multi-field-tunable electronic states., Comment: 25 pages, 5 figures

Recent experiments have demonstrated interesting physics in a family of two-dimensional (2D) composition-tunable materials Nb$_{2n+1}$Si$_n$Te$_{4n+2}$. Here, we show that owing to its intrinsic low symmetry, metallic nature, tunable composition, and ambient stability, these materials offer a good platform for studying Berry curvature dipole (BCD) and nonlinear Hall effect. Using first-principles calculations, we find that BCD exhibits pronounced peaks in monolayer Nb$_{3}$SiTe$_{6}$ ($n=1$ case). Its magnitude decreases monotonically with $n$ and completely vanishes in the $n\rightarrow\infty$ limit. This variation manifests a special hidden dimensional crossover of the low-energy electronic states in this system. The resulting nonlinear Hall response from BCD in these materials is discussed. Our work reveals pronounced geometric quantities and nonlinear transport physics in Nb$_{2n+1}$Si$_n$Te$_{4n+2}$ family materials, which should be readily detected in experiment., Comment: 8 pages, 7 figures and 1 table

Time-ordered data (TOD) from ground-based CMB experiments are generally filtered before map-making to remove or reduce the contamination from the ground and the atmospheric emissions. However, when the observation region contains strong point sources, the filtering process will result in considerable leakage around the point sources in a measured CMB map, and leave spurious polarization signals. Therefore, such signals need to be assessed and removed before CMB science exploitation. The hourglass fermions in solid-state materials have been attracting significant interest recently. However, realistic two-dimensional (2D) materials with hourglass-shaped band structures are still very scarce. Here, through the first-principles calculations, we identify the monolayer Pb(ClO$_{2}$)$_{2}$ and Sr(ClO$_{2}$)$_{2}$ materials as the new realistic materials platform to realize 2D hourglass Weyl nodal loop. We show that these monolayer materials possess an hourglass Weyl nodal loop circling around the $\Gamma$ point and Weyl nodal line on the Brillouin zone (BZ) boundary in the absence of spin-orbit coupling (SOC). Through the symmetry analysis, we demonstrate that the hourglass Weyl nodal loop and Weyl nodal line are protected by the nonsymmorphic symmetries, and are robust under the biaxial strains. When we include the SOC, a tiny gap will be opened in the hourglass nodal loop and nodal line, and the nodal line can be transformed into the spin-orbit Dirac points. In this work, we first derive the corrections to the instanton configuration of the flavored gauge field in the D4-D8 model with generic flavor numbers. Then, as the instanton configuration on the D8-branes represents equivalently baryon in this model, keeping our corrections in hand, we systemically study the spectrum of baryon, heavy-light baryon or heavy-light meson and find it is possible to fit the experimental data with the meson data in this model. Besides, we briefly outline how to include the interaction of glueball and heavy-light meson or baryon with our corrections, evaluate numerically the decay rate of the heavy-light meson or baryonic matter involving glueball. Since it is possible to fit all the spectra with same choice of the parameters to the experimental data, we believe our corrections improve the framework of D4-D8 model and the corrected instanton configuration is also useful to investigate other properties of baryon in holography., Comment: 34 pages, 2 figures

The bone age, reflecting the degree of development of the bones, can be used to predict the adult height and detect endocrine diseases of children. Both examinations of radiologists and variability of operators have a significant impact on bone age assessment. To decrease human intervention , machine learning algorithms are used to assess the bone age automatically. However, conventional supervised deep-learning methods need pre-labeled data. In this paper, based on the convolutional auto-encoder with constraints (CCAE), an unsupervised deep-learning model proposed in the classification of the fingerprint, we propose this model for the classification of the bone age and baptize it BA-CCAE. In the proposed BA-CCAE model, the key regions of the raw X-ray images of the bone age are encoded, yielding the latent vectors. The K-means clustering algorithm is used to obtain the final classifications by grouping the latent vectors of the bone images. A set of experiments on the Radiological Society of North America pediatric bone age dataset (RSNA) show that the accuracy of classifications at 48-month intervals is 76.15%. Although the accuracy now is lower than most of the existing supervised models, the proposed BA-CCAE model can establish the classification of bone age without any pre-labeled data, and to the best of our knowledge, the proposed BA-CCAE is one of the few trails using the unsupervised deep-learning method for the bone age assessment.

We derive residue formulas for the regularized integrals (introduced by Li-Zhou) on configuration spaces of elliptic curves. Based on these formulas, we prove that the regularized integrals satisfy holomorphic anomaly equations, providing a mathematical formulation of the so-called contact term singularities. According to the gauge-gravity duality, we systematically study the Schwinger effect and electric instability with anisotropy in a top-down holographic approach. The anisotropic black brane and bubble (soliton) background in IIB supergravity are employed and the dual theories in these backgrounds are expected to be anisotropic theory at finite temperature and anisotropic theory with confinement respectively. Then performing the potential analysis, we find due to the anisotropy, the potential barrier behaves oppositely with parallel and perpendicular electric fields, and this behavior agrees with the previous study about the quark potential with anisotropy in this system. Afterwards, we evaluate the pair production rate by solving the equation of motion for a fundamental string numerically which reveals the consistent behavior with the potential analysis. Furthermore, the probe D7-brane as flavor is introduced into the bulk in order to investigate the electric instability. The vacuum decay rate can be obtained by evaluating the imaginary part of the D7-brane action which again agrees with our potential analysis. Solving the associated constraint of gauge field strength on the flavor brane, we finally obtain the V-A curve displaying the distinct behavior of the conductivity in parallel and perpendicular direction which is in agreement with some bottom-up and phenomenologically holographic approaches in anisotropic fluid. Information reconciliation (IR), which corrects the errors in the sifted keys, directly determines the secure key rate and the link distance of quantum key distribution (QKD) systems. In this article, we propose an appending information reconciliation (AIR) scheme based on polar codes, which achieves high efficiency and ultra-low failure probability simultaneously, by gradually disclosing the bit values of the polarized channels with high error probability. The experimental results show that the efficiency of the proposed AIR scheme is closer to the Shannon limit, compared with the state-of-the-art implemented polar codes-based IR schemes, with the overall failure probability around 1E-8, especially when performed with smaller block sizes. Moreover, the efficiency of the proposed AIR scheme is 1.046, when the block size is 1 Gb and the quantum bit error rate of 0.02. The cosmic microwave background (CMB), carrying the inhomogeneous information of the very early universe, is of great significance for understanding the origin and evolution of our universe. However, observational CMB maps contain serious foreground contaminations from several sources, such as galactic synchrotron and thermal dust emissions. Here, we build a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) to recover the tiny CMB signal from various huge foreground contaminations. Focusing on the CMB temperature fluctuations, we find that the CNN model can successfully recover the CMB temperature maps with high accuracy, and that the deviation of the recovered power spectrum $C_\ell$ is smaller than the cosmic variance at $\ell>10$. We then apply this method to the current Planck observation, and find that the recovered CMB is quite consistent with that disclosed by the Planck collaboration, which indicates that the CNN method can provide a promising approach to the component separation of CMB observations. Furthermore, we test the CNN method with simulated CMB polarization maps based on the CMB-S4 experiment. The result shows that both the EE and BB power spectra can be recovered with high accuracy. Therefore, this method will be helpful for the detection of primordial gravitational waves in current and future CMB experiments. The CNN is designed to analyze two-dimensional images, thus this method is not only able to process full-sky maps, but also partial-sky maps. Based on the gauge-gravity duality, we study the three-dimensional QCD ($\mathrm{QCD}_{3}$) and Chern-Simons theory by constructing the anisotropic black D3-brane solution in IIB supergravity. The deformed bulk geometry is obtained by performing a double Wick rotation and dimension reduction which becomes an anisotropic bubble configuration exhibiting confinement in the dual theory. And its anisotropy also reduces to a Chern-Simons term due to the presence of the dissolved D7-branes or the axion field in bulk. Using the bubble geometry, we investigate the the ground-state energy density, quark potential, entanglement entropy and the baryon vertex according to the standard methods in the AdS/CFT dictionary. Our calculation shows that the ground-state energy illustrates degenerate to the Chern-Simons coupling coefficient which is in agreement with the properties of the gauge Chern-Simons theory. The behavior of the quark tension, entanglement entropy and the embedding of the baryon vertex further implies strong anisotropy may destroy the confinement. Afterwards, we additionally introduce various D7-branes as flavor and Chern-Simons branes to include the fundamental matter and effective Chern-Simons level in the dual theory. By counting their orientation, we finally obtain the associated topological phase in the dual theory and the critical mass for the phase transition. Interestingly the formula of the critical mass reveals the flavor symmetry, which may relate to the chiral symmetry, would be restored if the anisotropy increases greatly. In long-wavelength moir\'e superlattices of stacked transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), structural reconstruction ubiquitously occurs, which has reported to impact significantly their electronic properties. However, complete microscopic understandings of the interplay between the lattice reconstruction and alteration of electronic properties, and their further response to external perturbations in the reconstructed TMDs moir\'e superlattice are still lacking. Here, using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS) combined with first-principles calculation, we study the strain-dependent structural reconstruction and its correlated electronic reconstruction in long-wavelength H-type WS$_{2}$ moir\'e superlattice at nanometer scale. We observe that the long-wavelength WS$_{2}$ moir\'e superlattices experiencing strong atomic reconstruction transform into a hexagonal array of screw dislocations separating large-sized H-stacked domains. Both the geometry and the moir\'e wavelength of the moir\'e superlattice are dramatically tuned by external intralayer heterostrain in our experiment. Remarkably, the STS measurements further demonstrate that the location of the K point in conduction band is modulated sensitively by strain-induced lattice deformation at nanometer scale in this system, with the maximum energy shift reaching up to 300 meV. Our results highlight that intralayer strain plays a vital role in determining structural and electronic properties in TMD moir\'e superlattice.

Extensive investigations on topological phase transition (TPT) in three-dimensional compounds have been done. whereas, rare in two-dimensional systems, let alone noncentrosymmetric materials. In this work, based on first-principles calculations, we explore an inversion symmetry broken structural ReC2H monolayer. We reveal that it undergoes two TPTs, namely from normal insulator to Z2 topological insulator and back to normal insulator, at the critical biaxial strain of 2.3% and 7.8%, respectively. The band inversion occurs at the generic momentum in the first TPT, while at high symmetric K point in the second one. Usually, band inversion is identified by the exchange in the components or irreducible representations of the wavefunctions. These quantities can be easily obtained in theoretical calculation but hard to be detected in experimental techniques like Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. It is well known that nonlinear optical (NLO) response is very sensitive to the components and symmetries of the engaged bands, which also incorporates information of band topology. Therefore, we study the shift current, one of the widely explored NLO responses in noncentrosymmetric systems, during the two TPTs. We find that in both cases band inversion leads to the sign change of shift vectors around the momenta where the bandgap closes and reopens. Whereas the shift current, as the overall contribution of shift vectors weighted by the absorption rate in the whole Brillouin zone, may keep its direction. This work offers insight that a scrutinized examination is highly demanded in utilizing shift current to detect TPT.

Dependency parsing aims to extract syntactic dependency structure or semantic dependency structure for sentences. Existing methods suffer the drawbacks of lacking universality or highly relying on the auxiliary decoder. To remedy these drawbacks, we propose to achieve universal and schema-free Dependency Parsing (DP) via Sequence Generation (SG) DPSG by utilizing only the pre-trained language model (PLM) without any auxiliary structures or parsing algorithms. We first explore different serialization designing strategies for converting parsing structures into sequences. Then we design dependency units and concatenate these units into the sequence for DPSG. Thanks to the high flexibility of the sequence generation, our DPSG can achieve both syntactic DP and semantic DP using a single model. By concatenating the prefix to indicate the specific schema with the sequence, our DPSG can even accomplish multi-schemata parsing. The effectiveness of our DPSG is demonstrated by the experiments on widely used DP benchmarks, i.e., PTB, CODT, SDP15, and SemEval16. DPSG achieves comparable results with the first-tier methods on all the benchmarks and even the state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance in CODT and SemEval16. This paper demonstrates our DPSG has the potential to be a new parsing paradigm. We will release our codes upon acceptance.

Trace map on deformation quantized algebra leads to the algebraic index theorem. In this paper, we investigate a two-dimensional chiral analogue of the algebraic index theorem via the theory of chiral algebras developed by Beilinson and Drinfeld. We construct a trace map on the elliptic chiral homology of the free beta gamma-bc system using the BV quantization framework. As an example, we compute the trace evaluated on the unit constant chiral chain and obtain the formal Witten genus in the Lie algebra cohomology. Nesterov's accelerated forward-backward algorithm (AFBA) is an efficient algorithm for solving a class of two-term convex optimization models consisting of a differentiable function with a Lipschitz continuous gradient plus a nondifferentiable function with a closed form of its proximity operator. It has been shown that the iterative sequence generated by AFBA with a modified Nesterov's momentum scheme converges to a minimizer of the objective function with an $o\left(\frac{1}{k^2}\right)$ convergence rate in terms of the function value (FV-convergence rate) and an $o\left(\frac{1}{k}\right)$ convergence rate in terms of the distance between consecutive iterates (DCI-convergence rate). In this paper, we propose a more general momentum scheme with an introduced power parameter $\omega\in(0,1]$ and show that AFBA with the proposed momentum scheme converges to a minimizer of the objective function with an $o\left(\frac{1}{k^{2\omega}}\right)$ FV-convergence rate and an $o\left(\frac{1}{k^{\omega}}\right)$ DCI-convergence rate. The generality of the proposed momentum scheme provides us a variety of parameter selections for different scenarios, which makes the resulting algorithm more flexible to achieve better performance. We then employ AFBA with the proposed momentum scheme to solve the smoothed hinge loss $\ell_1$-support vector machine model.
