Sterile neutrinos that couple to the Standard Model via the neutrino magnetic dipole portals have been extensively studied at various experiments. In this work, we scrutinize these interactions for sterile neutrinos in the mass range of $\unit[0.1]{}-\unit[50]{MeV}$ through the nuclear and electron recoils at various neutrino scattering experiments. For the $e$-flavor specific dipole portal, we demonstrate that Dresden-II can provide leading constraints for $m_N \lesssim \unit[0.5]{MeV}$, setting aside currently unresolved theoretical uncertainties. For the $\mu$-flavor case, we show that the COHERENT experiment can probe a unique parameter region for $m_N$ in the range of $\unit[10]{}-\unit[40]{MeV}$ with the full dataset collected by the CsI[Na] scintillation detector, including both the energy and timing structure of the neutrino beam. We introduce a block encoding method for mapping discrete subgroups to qubits on a quantum computer. This method is applicable to general discrete groups, including crystal-like subgroups such as $\mathbb{BI}$ of $SU(2)$ and $\mathbb{V}$ of $SU(3)$. We detail the construction of primitive gates -- the inversion gate, the group multiplication gate, the trace gate, and the group Fourier gate -- utilizing this encoding method for $\mathbb{BT}$ and for the first time $\mathbb{BI}$ group. We also provide resource estimations to extract the gluon viscosity. The inversion gates for $\mathbb{BT}$ and $\mathbb{BI}$ are benchmarked on the $\texttt{Baiwang}$ quantum computer with estimated fidelities of $40^{+5}_{-4}\%$ and $4^{+5}_{-3}\%$ respectively., Comment: 12 pages, 10 figures

We demonstrate that long-ranged terrestrial electric fields can be used to exclude or discover ultralight bosonic particles with extremely small charge, beyond that probed by astrophysics. Bound condensates of scalar millicharged particles can be rapidly produced near electrostatic generators or in the atmosphere. If such particles directly couple to the photon, they quickly short out such electrical activity. Instead, for interactions mediated by a kinetically-mixed dark photon, the effects of this condensate are suppressed depending on the size of the kinetic mixing, but may still be directly detected with precision electromagnetic sensors. Neutrino telescopes, including IceCube, can detect galactic supernova events by observing the collective rise in photomultiplier count rates with a sub-second time resolution. Leveraging precise timing, we demonstrate the ability of neutrino telescopes to explore new weakly coupled states emitted from supernovae and subsequently decaying to neutrinos. Our approach utilizes publicly available packages, \texttt{ASTERIA} and \texttt{SNEWPY}, for simulating detector responses and parametrizing neutrino fluxes originating from Standard Model and new physics. We present results for two beyond the Standard Model scenarios and introduce the tool developed for testing a diverse range of new physics models.

In the quantum simulation of lattice gauge theories, gauge symmetry can be either fixed or encoded as a redundancy of the Hilbert space. While gauge-fixing reduces the number of qubits, keeping the gauge redundancy can provide code space to mitigate and correct quantum errors by checking and restoring Gauss's law. In this work, we consider the correctable errors for generic finite gauge groups and design the quantum circuits to detect and correct them. We calculate the error thresholds below which the gauge-redundant digitization with Gauss's law error correction has better fidelity than the gauge-fixed digitization. ENN Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. (ENN) is committed to generating fusion energy in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner, which requires abundant aneutronic fuel. Proton-boron ( p-$^{11}$B or p-B) fusion is considered an ideal choice for this purpose. Recent studies have suggested that p-B fusion, although challenging, is feasible based on new cross-section data, provided that a hot ion mode and high wall reflection can be achieved to reduce electron radiation loss. The high beta and good confinement of the spherical torus (ST) make it an ideal candidate for p-B fusion. By utilizing the new spherical torus energy confinement scaling law, a reactor with a major radius $R_0=4$ m, central magnetic field $B_0=6$ T, central temperature $T_{i0}=150$ keV, plasma current $I_p=30$ MA, and hot ion mode $T_i/T_e=4$ can yield p-B fusion with $Q>10$. A roadmap for p-B fusion has been developed, with the next-generation device named EHL-2. EHL stands for ENN He-Long, which literally means ``peaceful Chinese Loong". The main target parameters include $R_0\simeq1.05$ m, $A\simeq1.85$, $B_0\simeq3$ T, $T_{i0}\simeq30$ keV, $I_p\simeq3$ MA, and $T_i/T_e\geq2$. The existing ST device EXL-50 was simultaneously upgraded to provide experimental support for the new roadmap, involving the installation and upgrading of the central solenoid, vacuum chamber, and magnetic systems. The construction of the upgraded ST fusion device, EXL-50U, was completed at the end of 2023, and it achieved its first plasma in January 2024. The IceCube collaboration pioneered the detection of $\mathcal{O}{(\text{PeV})}$ neutrino events and the identification of astrophysical sources of high-energy neutrinos. In this study, we explore scenarios in which high-energy neutrinos are produced in the vicinity of astrophysical objects with strong magnetic field, such as magnetars. While propagating through such magnetic field, neutrinos experience spin precession induced by their magnetic moments, and this impacts their helicity and flavor composition at Earth. Considering both flavor composition of high-energy neutrinos and Glashow resonance events we find that detectable signatures may arise at neutrino telescopes, such as IceCube, for presently unconstrained neutrino magnetic moments in the range between $\mathcal{O}(10^{-15})~\mu_B$ and $\mathcal{O}(10^{-12})~\mu_B$., Comment: 27 pages, 10 figures, accepted for publication in JCAP

We explore the potential application of quantum computers to the examination of lattice holography, which extends to the strongly-coupled bulk theory regime. With adiabatic evolution, we compute the ground state of a spin system on a $(2+1)$-dimensional hyperbolic lattice, and measure the spin-spin correlation function on the boundary. Notably, we observe that with achievable resources for coming quantum devices, the correlation function demonstrates an approximate scale-invariant behavior, aligning with the pivotal theoretical predictions of the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence., Comment: six pages, six figures

We scrutinize the hypothesis that gauge singlet fermions -- sterile neutrinos -- interact with Standard Model particles through the transition magnetic moment portal. These interactions lead to the production of sterile neutrinos in supernovae followed by their decay into photons and active neutrinos which can be detected at $\gamma$-ray telescopes and neutrino detectors, respectively. We find that the non-observation of active neutrinos and photons from sterile-neutrino decay associated to SN1987A yields the strongest constraints to date on magnetic-moment-coupled sterile neutrinos if their masses are inside a $0.1-100$ MeV window. Assuming a near-future galactic supernova explosion, we estimate the sensitivity of several present and near-future experiments, including Fermi-LAT, e-ASTROGAM, DUNE, and Hyper-Kamiokande, to magnetic-moment-coupled sterile neutrinos. We also study the diffuse photon and neutrino fluxes produced in the decay of magnetic-moment coupled sterile neutrinos produced in all past supernova explosions and find that the absence of these decay daughters yields the strongest constraints to date for sterile neutrino masses inside a $1-100$ keV window., Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures

LHAASO collaboration detected photons with energy above 10 TeV from the most recent gamma-ray burst (GRB), GRB221009A. Given the redshift of this event, $z\sim 0.15$, photons of such energy are expected to interact with the diffuse extragalactic background light (EBL) well before reaching Earth. In this paper we provide a novel neutrino-related explanation of the most energetic 18 TeV event reported by LHAASO. We find that the minimal viable scenario involves both mixing and transition magnetic moment portal between light and sterile neutrinos. The production of sterile neutrinos occurs efficiently via mixing while the transition magnetic moment portal governs the decay rate in the parameter space where tree-level decays via mixing to non-photon final states are suppressed. We investigate the electroweak phase transition patterns for a recently proposed baryogenesis model with CP violation originated in the dark sector. The model includes a complex scalar singlet-Higgs boson portal, a $U(1)_l$ gauge lepton symmetry with a $Z^\prime$ gauge boson portal and a fermionic dark matter particle. We find a novel thermal history of the scalar sector, featuring a $Z_2$ breaking singlet vacuum in the early Universe driven by a dark Yukawa coupling, that induces a one-step strongly first order electroweak phase transition. We explore the parameter space that generates the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry and dark matter relic abundance, while being consistent with constraints from electric dipole moment and collider searches, and dark matter direct detection bounds. The complex singlet can be produced via the Higgs portal and decays into Standard Model particles after traveling a certain distance. We explore the reach for long-lived singlet scalars at the {\unit[13]{TeV}} Large Hadron Collider with $\mathcal{L}=\unit[139]{fb^{-1}}$ and show its impact on the parameter space of the model. Setting aside currently unresolved theoretical uncertainties, we estimate the gravitational wave signatures detectable at future observatories.

The advantage of simulating lattice field theory with quantum computers is hamstrung by the limited resources that induce large errors from finite volume and sizable lattice spacings. Previous work has shown how classical simulations near the Hamiltonian limit can be used for setting the lattice spacings in real-time through analytical continuation, thereby reducing errors in quantum simulations. In this work, we derive perturbative relations between bare and renormalized quantities in Euclidean spacetime at any anisotropy factor -- the ratio of spatial to temporal lattice spacings -- and in any spatial dimension for $U(N)$ and $SU(N)$. This reduces the required classical preprocessing for quantum simulations. We find less than $10\%$ discrepancy between our perturbative results and those from existing nonperturbative determinations of the anisotropy for $SU(2)$ and $U(1)$ gauge theories. For the discrete groups $\mathbb{Z}_{10}$, $\mathbb{Z}_{100}$ and $\mathbb{BI}$, we perform lattice Monte Carlo simulations to extract anisotropy factors and observe similar agreement with our perturbative results., Comment: 10 pages, 8 figures

Celestial amplitudes, obtained by applying Mellin transform and analytic continuation on "ordinary" amplitudes, have interesting properties which may provide useful insights on the underlying theory. Their analytic structures are thus of great interest and need to be better understood. In this paper, we critically examine the analytic structure of celestial amplitudes in a massless low-energy effective field theory. We find that, fixed-order loop contributions, which generate multipoles on the negative $\beta$-plane, in general do not provide an accurate description of the analytic structure of celestial amplitudes. By resumming over the leading logarithmic contributions using renormalization group equations (RGEs), we observe much richer analytic structures, which generally contain branch cuts. It is also possible to generate multipoles or shifted single poles if the RGEs satisfy certain relations. Including sub-leading logarithmic contributions is expected to introduce additional corrections to the picture. It is for the first time that Quantum Simulation for High Energy Physics (HEP) is studied in the U.S. decadal particle-physics community planning, and in fact until recently, this was not considered a mainstream topic in the community. This fact speaks of a remarkable rate of growth of this subfield over the past few years, stimulated by the impressive advancements in Quantum Information Sciences (QIS) and associated technologies over the past decade, and the significant investment in this area by the government and private sectors in the U.S. and other countries. High-energy physicists have quickly identified problems of importance to our understanding of nature at the most fundamental level, from tiniest distances to cosmological extents, that are intractable with classical computers but may benefit from quantum advantage. They have initiated, and continue to carry out, a vigorous program in theory, algorithm, and hardware co-design for simulations of relevance to the HEP mission. Quantum simulations of lattice gauge theories for the foreseeable future will be hampered by limited resources. The historical success of improved lattice actions in classical simulations strongly suggests that Hamiltonians with improved discretization errors will reduce quantum resources, i.e. require $\gtrsim 2^d$ fewer qubits in quantum simulations for lattices with $d$ spatial dimensions. In this work, we consider $\mathcal{O}(a^2)$-improved Hamiltonians for pure gauge theories and design the corresponding quantum circuits for its real-time evolution in terms of primitive gates. Novelty detection is a task of machine learning that aims at detecting novel events without a prior knowledge. In particular, its techniques can be applied to detect unexpected signals from new phenomena at colliders. In this paper, we develop an analysis scheme that exploits the complementarity, originally studied in Ref.~\cite{Hajer:2018kqm}, between isolation-based and clustering-based novelty evaluators. This approach can significantly improve the performance and overall applicability of novelty detection at colliders, which we demonstrate using a variety of two dimensional Gaussian samples mimicking collider events. As a further proof of principle, we subsequently apply this scheme to the detection of two significantly different signals at the LHC featuring a $t\bar{t}\gamma\gamma$ final state: $t\bar t h$, giving a narrow resonance in the diphoton mass spectrum, and gravity-mediated supersymmetry, which results in broad distributions at high transverse momentum. Compared to existing dedicated searches at the LHC, the sensitivities for both signals are found to be encouraging., Comment: 32 pages, 20 figures

We consider an improved soft-wall AdS/QCD model coupled to an Einstein-dilaton system, which offers a way to study the deconfining and chiral transitions simultaneously. The correlation between these two transitions has been investigated in detail in the Einstein-dilaton-scalar system with the bulk scalar field representing the vacuum of matters in the flavor sector of the model. We find that the effects of the scaling dimension $\Delta$ of the dual operator of the dilaton manifest in chiral transitions, although the equation of state can all be matched with the two-flavor lattice results for $\Delta=2.5, 3, 3.5$ in the decoupling case of $\beta=0$. In the weak-coupling case with smaller $\beta$, both the equation of state and the chiral transition exhibit a crossover behavior and turn into first-order phase transitions with the increase of $\beta$.

Dark matter (DM) with a mass below a few keV must have a phase space distribution that differs substantially from the Standard Model particle thermal phase space: otherwise, it will free stream out of cosmic structures as they form. We observe that fermionic DM psi in this mass range will have a non-negligible momentum in the early Universe, even in the total absence of thermal kinetic energy. This is because the fermions were inevitably more dense at higher redshifts, and thus experienced Pauli degeneracy pressure. They fill up the lowest-momentum states, such that a typical fermion gains a momentum ~ O(p_F) that can exceed its mass m_psi. We find a simple relation between m_psi, the current fraction f_psi of the cold DM energy density in light fermions, and the redshift at which they were relativistic. Considering the impacts of the transition between nonrelativistic and relativistic behavior as revealed by measurements of DNeff and the matter power spectrum, we derive qualitatively new bounds in the f_psi-m_psi plane. We also improve existing bounds for f_psi = 1 by an order of magnitude to m_psi=2 keV. With advances in quantum computing, new opportunities arise to tackle challenging calculations in quantum field theory. We show that trotterized time-evolution operators can be related by analytic continuation to the Euclidean transfer matrix on an anisotropic lattice. In turn, trotterization entails renormalization of the temporal and spatial lattice spacings. Based on the tools of Euclidean lattice field theory, we propose two schemes to determine Minkowski lattice spacings, using Euclidean data and thereby overcoming the demands on quantum resources for scale setting. In addition, we advocate using a fixed-anisotropy approach to the continuum to reduce both circuit depth and number of independent simulations. The tunable bandgap from 0.3 eV to 2 eV of black phosphorus (BP) makes it to fill the gap in graphene. When studying the properties of BP more comprehensive, scientists have discovered that many two-dimensional materials, such as tellurene, antimonene, bismuthene, indium selenide and tin sulfide, have similar structures and properties to black phosphorus thus called black phosphorus analogs. In this review, we briefly introduce preparation methods of black phosphorus and its analogs, with emphasis on the method of mechanical exfoliation (ME), liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). And their characterization and properties according to their classification of single-element materials and multi-element materials are described. We focus on the performance of passively mode-locked fiber lasers using BP and its analogs as saturable absorbers (SA) and demonstrated this part through classification of working wavelength. Information deformation and loss in jet clustering are one of the major limitations for precisely measuring hadronic events at future $e^-e^+$ colliders. Because of their dominance in data, the measurements of such events are crucial for advancing the precision frontier of Higgs and electroweak physics in the next decades. We show that this difficulty can be well-addressed by synergizing the event-level information into the data analysis, with the techniques of deep neutral network. In relation to this, we introduce a CMB-like observable scheme, where the event-level kinematics is encoded as Fox-Wolfram (FW) moments at leading order and multi-spectra at higher orders. Then we develop a series of jet-level (w/ and w/o the FW moments) and event-level classifiers, and analyze their sensitivity performance comparatively with two-jet and four-jet events. As an application, we analyze measuring Higgs decay width at $e^-e^+$ colliders with the data of 5ab$^{-1}@$240GeV. The precision obtained is significantly better than the baseline ones presented in documents. We expect this strategy to be applied to many other hadronic-event measurements at future $e^-e^+$ colliders, and to open a new angle for evaluating their physics capability., Comment: 39 pages, 21 figures. We consider aspects of tree and one-loop behavior in a generic 4d EFT of massless scalars, fermions, and vectors, with a particular eye to the high-energy limit of the Standard Model EFT at operator dimensions 6 and 8. First, we classify the possible Lorentz structures of operators and the subset of these that can arise at tree-level in a weakly coupled UV completion, extending the tree/loop classification through dimension 8 using functional methods. Second, we investigate how operators contribute to tree and one-loop helicity amplitudes, exploring the impact of non-renormalization theorems through dimension 8. We further observe that many dimension 6 contributions to helicity amplitudes, including rational parts, vanish exactly at one-loop level. This suggests the impact of helicity selection rules extends beyond one loop in non-supersymmetric EFTs., Comment: 29+1 pages, 5 figures, 6 tables

The $tthh$ production at colliders contain rich information on the nature of Higgs boson. In this article, we systematically studied its physics at High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), using exclusive channels with multiple ($\geq 5$) $b$-jets and one lepton ($5b1\ell$), multiple ($\geq 5$) $b$-jets and opposite-sign di-lepton ($5b2\ell$), same-sign di-lepton (SS2$\ell$), multiple leptons (multi-$\ell$), and di-tau resonance ($\tau\tau$). The scenarios analyzed include: (1) the $tthh$ production in Standard Model; (2) the $tthh$ production mediated by anomalous cubic Higgs self-coupling and $tthh$ contact interaction; (3) heavy Higgs ($H$) production with $tt H \to tthh$; and (4) pair production of fermionic top partners ($T$) with $T T \to tthh$. To address the complication of event topologies and the mess of combinatorial backgrounds, a tool of Boosted-Decision-Tree was applied in the analyses. The $5b1\ell$ and SS2$\ell$ analyses define the two most promising channels, resulting in slightly different sensitivities. For non-resonant $tthh$ production, a combination of these exclusive analyses allows for its measurment in the SM with a statistical significance $\sim 0.9\sigma$ (with $S/B > 1 \%$), and may assist partially breaking the sensitivity degeneracy w.r.t. the cubic Higgs self-coupling, a difficulty usually thought to exist in gluon fusion di-Higgs analysis at HL-LHC. These sensitivities were also projected to future hadron colliders at 27 TeV and 100 TeV. For resonant $tthh$ productions, the heavy Higgs boson in type II Two-Higgs-Doublet-Model could be efficiently searched for between the mass thresholds $2 m_h < m_H < 2 m_t$ and even beyond that, for relatively small $\tan\beta$, while the fermionic top partners in composite Higgs models could be probed for up to $\sim 1.5$ TeV and $\sim 1.7$ TeV, for Br$(T\to th)=25\%$ and $50\%$, respectively., Comment: 30 pages, 12 figures

We present the results of the first complete one-loop matching calculation between the real singlet scalar extension of the Standard Model and the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT) at dimension six. Beyond their immediate relevance to the precision calculation of observables in singlet extensions of the Standard Model, our results illustrate a variety of general features of one-loop matching. We explore the interplay between non-supersymmetric non-renormalization theorems, the logarithmic dependence of Wilson coefficients, and the relevance of mixed diagrams in theories with large scale separation. In addition, we highlight some of the subtleties involved in computing observables at next-to-leading order in SMEFT by mapping our results to the $T$ parameter at one loop., Comment: 21 pages

We present an ultraviolet extension of the Twin Higgs in which the radial mode of twin symmetry breaking is itself a pseudo-goldstone boson. This "turtle" structure raises the scale of new colored particles in exchange for additional states in the Higgs sector, making multiple Higgs-like scalars the definitive signature of naturalness in this context. We explore the parametrics and phenomenology of a concrete Twin Turtle model and demonstrate its robustness in two different supersymmetric completions. Along the way, we also introduce a new mechanism for inducing hard twin symmetry-breaking quartics via soft supersymmetry breaking., Comment: 36 pages, 13 figures

Novelty detection is the machine learning task to recognize data, which belong to an unknown pattern. Complementary to supervised learning, it allows to analyze data model-independently. We demonstrate the potential role of novelty detection in collider physics, using autoencoder-based deep neural network. Explicitly, we develop a set of density-based novelty evaluators, which are sensitive to the clustering of unknown-pattern testing data or new-physics signal events, for the design of detection algorithms. We also explore the influence of the known-pattern data fluctuations, arising from non-signal regions, on detection sensitivity. Strategies to address it are proposed. The algorithms are applied to detecting fermionic di-top partner and resonant di-top productions at LHC, and exotic Higgs decays of two specific modes at a $e^+e^-$ future collider. It is difficult to measure the $WW$-fusion Higgs production process ($e^+e^- \to \nu \bar{\nu} h$) at a lepton collider with a center of mass energy of 240-250 GeV due to its small rate and the large background from the Higgsstrahlung process with an invisible $Z$ ($e^+e^- \to hZ,\,Z\to \nu\bar{\nu}$). We construct a modified recoil mass variable, $m^p_{\rm recoil}$, defined using only the 3-momentum of the reconstructed Higgs particle, and show that it can better separate the $WW$-fusion and Higgsstrahlung events than the original recoil mass variable $m_{\rm recoil}$. Consequently, the $m^p_{\rm recoil}$ variable can be used to improve the overall precisions of the extracted Higgs couplings, in both the conventional framework and the effective-field-theory framework. We also explore the application of the $m^p_{\rm recoil}$ variable in the inclusive cross section measurements of the Higgsstrahlung process, while a quantitive analysis is left for future studies., Comment: 25 pages, 8 figures

We show that, in the presence of bulk masses, sterile neutrinos propagating in large extra dimensions (LED) can induce electron-neutrino appearance effects. This is in contrast to what happens in the standard LED scenario and hence LED models with explicit bulk masses have the potential to address the MiniBooNE and LSND appearance results, as well as the reactor and Gallium anomalies. A special feature in our scenario is that the mixing of the first KK modes to active neutrinos can be suppressed, making the contribution of heavier sterile neutrinos to oscillations relatively more important. We study the implications of this neutrino mass generation mechanism for current and future neutrino oscillation experiments, and show that the Short-Baseline Neutrino Program at Fermilab will be able to efficiently probe such a scenario. We explore lepton-flavored electroweak baryogenesis, driven by CP-violation in leptonic Yukawa sector, using the $\tau-\mu$ system in the two Higgs doublet model as an example. This setup generically yields, together with the flavor-changing decay $h\to \tau \mu$, a tree-level Jarlskog-invariant that can drive dynamical generation of baryon asymmetry during a first-order electroweak phase transition and results in CP-violating effect in the decay $h\to \tau\tau$. We find that the observed baryon asymmetry can be generated in parameter space compatible with current experimental results for the decays $h\to \tau \mu$, $h\to \tau\tau$ and $\tau \rightarrow \mu \gamma$, as well as the present bound on the electric dipole moment of the electron. The baryon asymmetry generated is intrinsically correlated with the CP-violating decay $h\to \tau\tau$ and the flavor-changing decay $h\to \tau\mu$, which thus may serve as "smoking guns" to test lepton-flavored electroweak baryogenesis., Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure

We present strategies to search for heavy neutral Higgs bosons decaying to top quark pairs, as often occurs at low $\tan \beta$ in type II two Higgs doublet models such as the Higgs sector of the MSSM. The resonant production channel is unsatisfactory due to interference with the SM background. We instead propose to utilize same-sign dilepton signatures arising from the production of heavy Higgs bosons in association with one or two top quarks and subsequent decay to a top pair. We find that for heavier neutral Higgs bosons the production in association with one top quark provides greater sensitivity than production in association with two top quarks. We obtain current limits at the LHC using Run I data at 8 TeV and forecast the sensitivity of a dedicated analysis during Run II at 14 TeV. Recently the ATLAS and CMS collaborations at the LHC announced their observation of a potential 750 GeV di-photon resonance, after analyzing the $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV LHC data. This observation has significant implications for low-energy supersymmetry. Beyond the MSSM and the NMSSM, we study the MSSM-extensions with an extra $U(1)'$ gauge symmetry. The anomaly cancellation and the spontaneous breaking of the non-decoupled $U(1)'$ generically require introducing vector-like supermultiplets (both colored and color-neutral ones) and singlet supermultiplets, respectively. We illustrate that the potential 750 GeV resonance ($Y$) can be accommodated in various mechanisms, as a singlet-like scalar or pseudoscalar. Three benchmark scenarios are presented: (1) vector-like quarks (VLQ) mediated $pp \to Y \to \gamma \gamma$; (2) scalar VLQ mediated $pp \to Y \to \gamma \gamma$; (3) heavy scalar (pseudo-scalar) $H/A$ associated production $pp \to H^*/A^* \to Y H/h$. Searching for Higgs bosons beyond the Standard Model (BSM) is one of the most important missions for hadron colliders. As a landmark of BSM physics, the MSSM Higgs sector at the LHC is expected to be tested up to the scale of the decoupling limit of O(1) TeV, except for a wedge region centered around $\tan\beta \sim 3 -10$, which has been known to be difficult to probe. In this article, we present a dedicated study testing the decoupled MSSM Higgs sector, at the LHC and a next-generation $pp$-collider, proposing to search in channels with associated Higgs productions, with the neutral and charged Higgs further decaying into $tt$ and $tb$, respectively. In the case of neutral Higgs we are able to probe for the so far uncovered wedge region via $pp\to bb H/A \to bbtt$. Additionally, we cover the the high $\tan\beta$ range with $pp\to bb H/A \to bb\tau\tau$. The combination of these searches with channels dedicated to the low $\tan\beta$ region, such as $pp\to H/A \to tt$ and $pp\to tt H/A \to tttt$ potentially covers the full $\tan\beta$ range. The search for charged Higgs has a slightly smaller sensitivity for the moderate $\tan\beta$ region, but additionally probes for the higher and lower $\tan\beta$ regions with even greater sensitivity, via $pp\to tb H^\pm \to tbtb$. While the LHC will be able to probe the whole $\tan\beta$ range for Higgs masses of O(1) TeV by combining these channels, we show that a future 100 TeV $pp$-collider has a potential to push the sensitivity reach up to $\sim \mathcal O(10)$ TeV. In order to deal with the novel kinematics of top quarks produced by heavy Higgs decays, the multivariate Boosted Decision Tree (BDT) method is applied in our collider analyses. The BDT-based tagging efficiencies of both hadronic and leptonic top-jets, and their mutual fake rates as well as the faking rates by other jets ($h$, $Z$, $W$, $b$, etc.) are also presented., Comment: published version

Exact solutions to the stationary Gross-Pitaevskii equation are obtained for properly modulated radial nonlinearity. LHCb is the dedicated B physics experiment at the LHC and is due to start data taking later this year. Its goal is to search for new physics in very rare processes and make precision measurements of CP violation in B decays. The CKM angle gamma plays an important role in flavour physics in the Standard Model. LHCb will exploit the large variety of B hadrons produced by the 14 TeV pp collisions, performing gamma measurements to the precision of a few degrees.
