The FAST All Sky HI survey (FASHI) was designed to cover the entire sky observable by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST), spanning approximately 22000 square degrees of declination between -14 deg and +66 deg, and in the frequency range of 1050-1450 MHz, with the expectation of eventually detecting more than 100000 HI sources. Between August 2020 and June 2023, FASHI had covered more than 7600 square degrees, which is approximately 35% of the total sky observable by FAST. It has a median detection sensitivity of around 0.76 mJy/beam and a spectral line velocity resolution of ~6.4 km/s at a frequency of ~1.4 GHz. As of now, a total of 41741 extragalactic HI sources have been detected in the frequency range 1305.5-1419.5 MHz, corresponding to a redshift limit of z<0.09. By cross-matching FASHI sources with the Siena Galaxy Atlas (SGA) and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) catalogs, we found that 16972 (40.7%) sources have spectroscopic redshifts and 10975 (26.3%) sources have only photometric redshifts. Most of the remaining 13794 (33.0%) HI sources are located in the direction of the Galactic plane, making their optical counterparts difficult to identify due to high extinction or high contamination of Galactic stellar sources. Based on current survey results, the FASHI survey is an unprecedented blind extragalactic HI survey. It has higher spectral and spatial resolution and broader coverage than the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey (ALFALFA). When completed, FASHI will provide the largest extragalactic HI catalog and an objective view of HI content and large-scale structure in the local universe., Comment: 22 pages, 12 figures, published in SCPMA. HESS J1843$-$033 is a very-high-energy gamma-ray source whose origin remains unidentified. This work presents, for the first time, the energy spectrum of gamma rays beyond $100\, {\rm TeV}$ from the HESS J1843$-$033 region using the data recorded by the Tibet air shower array and its underground muon detector array. A gamma-ray source with an extension of $0.34^{\circ} \pm 0.12^{\circ}$ is successfully detected above $25\, {\rm TeV}$ at $(\alpha,\, \delta) = (281.09^{\circ}\pm 0.10^{\circ},\, -3.76^{\circ}\pm 0.09^{\circ})$ near HESS J1843$-$033 with a statistical significance of $6.2\, \sigma$, and the source is named TASG J1844$-$038. The position of TASG J1844$-$038 is consistent with those of HESS J1843$-$033, eHWC J1842$-$035, and LHAASO J1843$-$0338. The measured gamma-ray energy spectrum in $25\, {\rm TeV} < E < 130\, {\rm TeV}$ is described with ${\rm d}N/{\rm d}E = (9.70\pm 1.89)\times 10^{-16} (E/40\, {\rm TeV})^{-3.26\pm 0.30}\, {\rm TeV}^{-1} {\rm cm}^{-2} {\rm s}^{-1}$, and the spectral fit to the combined spectra of HESS J1843$-$033, LHAASO J1843$-$0338, and TASG J1844$-$038 implies the existence of a cutoff at $49.5\pm 9.0\, {\rm TeV}$. Associations of TASG J1844-038 with SNR G28.6$-$0.1 and PSR J1844-0346 are also discussed in detail for the first time., Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, 1 table

Based on the set of nonlinear coupling equations describing the interaction of the high-frequency field, the self-generated magnetic field and the ion-acoustic field, the dispersion relation for the circular magnetic field is obtained. The numerical results indicate that the strength of the magnetic field have influence on the growth rate of modulation instability. The self-generated magnetic field has the tendency to self-similar collapse which makes the electron escapes along the axial region and form collimated jets. The velocity of jets is calculated and the results are consistent with experimental observations. We report observations of gamma-ray emissions with energies in the 100 TeV energy region from the Cygnus region in our Galaxy. Two sources are significantly detected in the directions of the Cygnus OB1 and OB2 associations. Based on their positional coincidences, we associate one with a pulsar PSR J2032+4127 and the other mainly with a pulsar wind nebula PWN G75.2+0.1 with the pulsar moving away from its original birthplace situated around the centroid of the observed gamma-ray emission. The interplay between topological electronic structure and superconductivity has attracted tremendous research interests recently as they could induce topological superconductivity (TSCs) which may be used to realize topological qubits for quantum computation. Among various TSC candidates, superconducting BaSn3 (Tc ~ 4.4 K) has been predicted to be a topological Dirac semimetal (TDS) hosting two pairs of Dirac points along the G - A direction. Here, by combining the use of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and ab initio calculations, we identified the predicted topological Dirac fermions and confirmed the TDS nature of the compound. In addition, we observed surface states connecting the Dirac points. Our observations demonstrate BaSn3 as a superconductor with nontrivial topological electronic structures.

A dramatic spectral modulation of third-order harmonic (TH) emission generated in a near in- frared femtosecond (fs) pulse filamentation, assisted by a two-dimensional plasma grating formed by two pump femtosecond pulses, is experimentally demonstrated when their spatiotemporal overlap is achieved. It is mainly attributed to strong cross-phase modulation induced by the fundamental wave of the probe pulse and two pump ones. The delay dynamic of TH spectra indicates the influence of two retarded nonlinear responses on the TH generation. The dependences of TH generation on the energies of probe and pump pulses, relative field polarization angle are also studied., Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures

IRAS22475+5939 has been well researched by previous astronomers. But we still get some new characteristics about it, using the first observations in lines of CO J=2-1,13CO J=2-1,13CO J=3-2 by the KOSMA 3 m telescope. The mapping of the intensity ratio of 13CO J=3-2 and 13CO J=2-1 shows the distribution of the temperature with two peaks, which don't coincide with IRAS22475+5939 source and the center of the HII region, but at the edge of the HII region. The overlays of the Spitzer IRAC 8um and CO contours indicate that they are associated with each other and the strongest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) emission is at the position of IRAS22475+5939 source. While the IRAS LRS spectrum at 7-23 um and the PHT-s spectrum at 2-12 um of IRAS22475+5939 source also exhibit strong PAHs emission characters at the main PAH bands. The diversity of PAH family should be responsible for the plateaus of PAHs emission in the PHT-s spectrum and the IRAS-LRS spectrum. An analysis and modeling in infrared bands suggest that IRAS22475+5939 is more likely to be a Class I YSO. Where this is the case, the star is likely to have a temperature T_{EFF} \sim 9995.8 K, mass \sim15.34 M_(sun), luminosity \sim 1.54*10^4 L_(sun) and age \sim 1.54*10^4 yr. The model shows that the circumstellar disc emission is important for the wavelength between 1 and 10 um, otherwise, envelope fluxes for lambda >10 um. The bipolar outflow is confirmed in the molecular cloud. The excited star of the HII region has the chance to be the driving source of the outflow.
