There is an invisible element that is always present in the entire process of creation and this paper explores Amma Raj Joshi's collection of poems entitled Man and River to bring out his vision of the world as sanctuary, in which everything is holy and sublime. The poet delves deep into the inner recesses of human mind and brings out the presence of the infinite in the thought process and in the human action. Further, the analysis reveals how the poet has chosen poetry as a medium to address various pressing contemporary issues to make this world a better place for both humans and non human others.
