This second edition of John Hudson's well-known textbook comes 18 years after the first edition. Hudson says regional geography "tends to be long on facts", and offers "a framework for those facts and an interpretation of their relevance ... " (xv). The last part of this book, "Refugees, Asylum, Humanitarianism", presents a fair and accurate representation of refugee populations in the field of critical geographies of migration.
