Importantly, Paprocka presents the development of literature against the background of the general evolution of the book market, indicating the characteristic literary phenomena, the major authors, and the most popular works. It is based on the author's own research and the above-mentioned bibliographic corpus including 1,905 entries, i.e. all the translations of French children's literature (first editions and reprints). Paprocka also reflects on the strategies of the analysed publishers presented in light of the theories discussed in part one and the history of French children's literature presented in part two.
