The article reports on a study conducted by Northwestern University which determined that people who wrote letters using pen and paper are doing so in a pattern that is similar to how they write electronic mails as of today. It mentions that the research team has created a mathematical model that to analyze the e-mail behavior of people and examined extensive correspondence of well-known writers, politicians and scientists. It revealed that writers tend to write numerous letters at one sitting which is said to be more efficient.
