Abstract

The article discusses the possibility that Brexit will increase the reliance of Great Britain on physicians from India to manage the National Health Service (NHS). It claims that doctors from outside Europe are positive that Brexit will create more jobs for their medical graduates. The views of ophthalmologist Dinesh Verma and Gary McIndoe, managing director of specialist business immigration law firm, Latitude Law, on Brexit and how it will affect the NHS and ophthalmology are given.
