Abstract

The article reports on the environmental protection and economic benefits during crisis for enterprises in the petrochemical industry in China. It states that the growth of chemical industry is characterized by higher energy consumption and environmental pollution. It is also noted that the economic crisis affects the chemical industry making many plant productions stopped or shut down. Also offered are the ways for handling chemical industry and environmental production during economic crisis.
