The article offer information on the design and experimental characterization of an inverse Class E power amplifier (PA) with a finite direct current (DC)-feed inductance. It discussed the design equations to establish the values of circuit elements. It notes that the measured results shows the validity and advantage of the suggested gallium nitride (GaN) high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) inverse Class E PA when utilized as a solution for high-power transmitters needing high frequency.
