Recently, with the emergence of many image editing tools (photoshop, Topaz studio, etc.), the authenticity of images has been severely challenged. However, the performance of some existing traditional feature extraction methods and detection methods based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is poor, and the information provided by the features extracted from the network is limited and single. In this paper, an end-to-end ringed residual U-Net is proposed to detect image splicing forgery by blending features of non-natural regions. Some regions with significant differences from the image background are defined as non-natural regions(such as the irregular border at the splicing of images). In this paper, a feature enhancement module for non-natural regions is constructed, which the image through the pooling of four different scales, and these features are then combined with the original image and input to the backbone network for processing, aiming to highlight regions of the image that differ significantly from the background. Therefore, after adding the feature enhancement module for non-natural regions to the end-to-end ring residual U-Net, more attention will be paid to the tampering regions in the feature extraction stage, image manipulation detection and localization will also become more accurate. Compared with some mainstream methods, this method achieves better performance on the three standard datasets(CASIA2.0, NIST2016, COLUMBIA). Deformable medical image registration is a fundamental and critical task in medical image analysis. Recently, deep learning-based methods have rapidly developed and have shown impressive results in deformable image registration. However, existing approaches still suffer from limitations in registration accuracy or generalization performance. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a pure convolutional neural network module (CVTF) to implement hierarchical transformers and enhance the registration performance of medical images. CVTF has a larger convolutional kernel, providing a larger global effective receptive field, which can improve the network's ability to capture long-range dependencies. In addition, we introduce the spatial interaction attention (SIA) module to compute the interrelationship between the target feature pixel points and all other points in the feature map. This helps to improve the semantic understanding of the model by emphasizing important features and suppressing irrelevant ones. Based on the proposed CVTF and SIA, we construct a novel registration framework named PCTNet. We applied PCTNet to generate displacement fields and register medical images, and we conducted extensive experiments and validation on two public datasets, OASIS and LPBA40. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and generality of our method, showing significant improvements in registration accuracy and generalization performance compared to existing methods. This paper is focused on the field of computer vision in order to investigate the presentation properties of retinal blood vessels. Combining the structure of convolutional neural networks, activation functions, and common metrics in semantic segmentation, a dynamic network model for retinal vessel segmentation based on computer vision is constructed. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the results of retinal vascular segmentation based on computer vision. The image connection and alignment pattern selection process is also established to match retinal vessel images by computer vision. The performance of the dynamic network constructed here and the results of retinal vessel segmentation were then analyzed in three publicly available datasets, DRIVE (digital retinal images for vessel extraction), CHASE_DB1, and STARE (structured snalysis of the retinal. The ROC (retinopathy online challenge) curves on all three datasets exceeded 0.9, showing high performance, and the area under the PR curve exceeded 0.88. The accuracy of the results for retinal vessel segmentation was around 96%. Small object detection has a broad application prospect in image processing of unmanned aerial vehicles, autopilot and remote sensing. However, some difficulties exactly exist in small object detection, such as aggregation, occlusion and insufficient feature extraction, resulting in a great challenge for small object detection. In this paper, we propose an improved algorithm for small object detection to address these issues. By using the spatial pyramid to extract multi-scale spatial features and by applying the multi-scale channel attention to capture the global and local semantic features, the spatial pooling pyramid and multi-scale channel attention module (SPP-MSCAM) is constructed. More importantly, the fusion of the shallower layer with higher resolution and a deeper layer with more semantic information is introduced to the neck structure for improving the sensitivity of small object features. A large number of experiments on the VisDrone2019 dataset and the NWPU VHR-10 dataset show that the proposed method significantly improves the Precision, mAP and mAP50 compared to the YOLOv5 method. Meanwhile, it still preserves a considerable real-time performance. In Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), vision is the primary mode of perception. However, vehicle images captured by low-cost traffic cameras under challenging weather conditions often suffer from poor resolution and insufficient detail representation. On the other hand, vehicle noise provides complementary auditory features that offer advantages such as environmental adaptability and a large recognition distance. To address these limitations and enhance the accuracy of low-quality traffic surveillance classification and identification, an effective audio-visual feature fusion method is crucial. This paper presents a research study that establishes an Urban Road Vehicle Audio-visual (URVAV) dataset specifically designed for low-quality images and noise recorded in complex weather conditions. For low-quality vehicle image classification, the paper proposes a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based model called Low-quality Vehicle Images Net (LVINet). Additionally, to further enhance classification accuracy, a spatial channel attention-based audio-visual feature fusion method is introduced. This method converts one-dimensional acoustic features into a two-dimensional audio Mel-spectrogram, allowing for the fusion of auditory and visual features. By leveraging the high correlation between these features, the representation of vehicle characteristics is effectively enhanced. Experimental results demonstrate that LVINet achieves a classification accuracy of 93.62% with reduced parameter count compared to existing CNN models. Furthermore, the proposed audio-visual feature fusion method improves classification accuracy by 7.02% and 4.33% when compared to using single audio or visual features alone, respectively. The segmentation of neuronal morphology in electron microscopy images is crucial for the analysis and understanding of neuronal function. However, most of the existing segmentation methods are not suitable for challenging datasets where the neuronal structure is contaminated by noise or has interrupted parts. In this paper, we propose a segmentation method based on deep learning to determine the location information of neurons and reduce the influence of image noise in the data. Specifically, we adapt our neuron dataset based on UNet by using convolution with BN fusion and multi-input feature fusion. The method is named REDAFNet. The model simplifies the model structure and enhances the generalization ability by fusing the convolution layer and BN layer. The noise interference in the data was reduced by multi-input feature fusion, and the ability to understand and express the data was enhanced. The method takes a neuron image as input and its pixel segmentation map as output. Experimental results show that the segmentation accuracy of the proposed method is 91.96%, 93.86% and 80.25% on the ISBI2012 dataset, U-RISC retinal neuron dataset and N2DH-GOWT1 stem cell dataset, respectively. With the development of artificial intelligence, deep-learning-based log anomaly detection proves to be an important research topic. In this paper, we propose LogCSS, a novel log anomaly detection framework based on the Context-Semantics-Statistics Convolutional Neural Network (CSSCNN). It is the first model that uses BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to extract the semantic, temporal, and correlational features of the logs. We combine the features with the statistic information of log templates for the classification model to improve the accuracy. We also propose a technique, DOOT (Deals with the Out-Of-Templates), for online template matching. The experimental research shows that our framework improves the average F1 score of the six best algorithms in the industry by more than 5% on the open-source dataset HDFS, and improves the average F1 score of the six best algorithms in the industry by more than 8% on the BGL dataset, LogCSS also performs better than other similar methods on our own constructed dataset. Military object military object detection technology serves as the foundation and critical component for reconnaissance and command decision-making, playing a significant role in information-based and intelligent warfare. However, many existing military object detection models focus on exploring deeper and more complex architectures, which results in models with a large number of parameters. This makes them unsuitable for inference on mobile or resource-constrained combat equipment, such as combat helmets and reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a lightweight detection framework. A CSP-GhostnetV2 module is proposed in our method to make the feature extraction network more lightweight while extracting more effective information. Furthermore, to fuse multiscale information in low-computational scenarios, GSConv and the proposed CSP-RepGhost are used to form a lightweight feature aggregation network. As a list of remotely sensed data sources is available, the effective processing of remote sensing images is of great significance in practical applications in various fields. This paper proposes a new lightweight network to solve the problem of remote sensing image processing by using the method of deep learning. Specifically, the proposed model employs ShuffleNet V2 as the backbone network, appropriately increases part of the convolution kernels to improve the classification accuracy of the network, and uses the maximum overlapping pooling layer to enhance the detailed features of the input images. Finally, Squeeze and Excitation (SE) blocks are introduced as the attention mechanism to improve the architecture of the network. Experimental results based on several multisource data show that our proposed network model has a good classification effect on the test samples and can achieve more excellent classification performance than some existing methods, with an accuracy of 91%, and can be used for the classification of remote sensing images. Our model not only has high accuracy but also has faster training speed compared with large networks and can greatly reduce computation costs. Overall, text summarization addresses the fundamental need to distill large volumes of information into more manageable and digestible forms, making it a crucial technology in the era of information abundance. It benefits individuals, businesses, researchers, and various other stakeholders by enhancing efficiency and comprehension in dealing with textual data. In this paper, proposed a novel Modified Generative adversarial network (MGAN) for summarize the text. The proposed model involves three stages namely pre-processing, Extractive summarization, and summary generation. In the first Phase, the Text similarity dataset is pre-processed using Lowering Casing, Tokenization, Lemmatization, and, Stop Word Removal. In the second Phase, the Extractive summarization is done in three steps Generating similarity metrics, Sentence Ranking, and Sentence Extractive. In the third stage, a generative adversarial network (GAN) employs summary generation to jointly train the discriminative model D and the generative model G. To classify texts and annotate their syntax, Generative Model G employs a convolutional neural network called Bidirectional Gated Recursive Unit (CNN-BiGRU). The performance analysis of the proposed MGAN is calculated based on the parameters like accuracy, specificity, Recall, and Precision metrics. The proposed MGAN achieves an accuracy range of 99%. Accurate segmentation of knee cartilage in MR images is crucial for early diagnosis and treatment of knee conditions. Manual segmentation is time-consuming, leading researchers to explore automatic deep learning methods. However, the choice between 2D and 3D networks for organ segmentation remains debated. In this paper, we propose a hybrid 2D and 3D deep neural network approach, named UVNet, which combines the strengths of both techniques to enhance segmentation performance. Within this network structure, the 3D segmentation network serves as the backbone for feature extraction, while the 2D segmentation network functions as an information supplement network. Local and global MIP images are generated by employing various maximum intensity projection modes of knee MRI volumes as input for the information supplement network. By constructing a local and global MIP feature fusion module, the supplementary information obtained from the 2D segmentation network is fully integrated into the backbone network. We assess the quality of the proposed method using the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) dataset and the 2010 Grand Challenge Knee Image Segmentation (SKI-10) dataset, comparing it to the Baseline Network and other advanced 2D and 3D segmentation methods. To solve the problem that individual visual features could not be accurately extracted from low-light and high-noise pig face images in intensive farming, the optimal fitting curve parameters of image brightness enhancement were defined, and the Zero-DCE model was improved and Denoise-Net was introduced to achieve brightness enhancement and high-noise suppression of a single low-light pig face image. The experimental results show that, compared with EnlightGAN, Zero-DCE, Retinex, and SSE, the algorithm in this paper (DCE-Denoise-Net) has good results on image quality metrics such as information entropy, Brisque, NIQE, and PIQE in the absence of reference images. The Central Nervous System (CNS) is one of the most crucial parts of the human body. Brain tumor is one of the deadliest diseases that affect CNS and they should be detected earlier to avoid serious health implications. As it is one of the most dangerous types of cancer, its diagnosis is a crucial part of the healthcare sector. A brain tumor can be malignant or benign and its grade recognition is a tedious task for the radiologist. In the recent past, researchers have proposed various automatic detection and classification techniques that use different imaging modalities focusing on increased accuracy. In this paper, we have done an in-depth study of 19 different trained deep learning models like Alexnet, VGGnet, DarkNet, DenseNet, ResNet, InceptionNet, ShuffleNet, NasNet and their variants for the detection of brain tumors using deep transfer learning. The performance parameters show that NASNet-Large is outperforming others with an accuracy of 98.03% for detection and 97.87% for classification. BACKGROUND: An effective method for achieving low-dose CT is to keep the number of projection angles constant while reducing radiation dose at each angle. However, this leads to high-intensity noise in the reconstructed image, adversely affecting subsequent image processing, analysis, and diagnosis. OBJECTIVE: This paper proposes a novel Channel Graph Perception based U-shaped Transformer (CGP-Uformer) network, aiming to achieve high-performance denoising of low-dose CT images. METHODS: The network consists of convolutional feed-forward Transformer (ConvF-Transformer) blocks, a channel graph perception block (CGPB), and spatial cross-attention (SC-Attention) blocks. The ConvF-Transformer blocks enhance the ability of feature representation and information transmission through the CNN-based feed-forward network. The CGPB introduces Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) for Channel-to-Channel feature extraction, promoting the propagation of information across distinct channels and enabling inter-channel information interchange. The SC-Attention blocks reduce the semantic difference in feature fusion between the encoder and decoder by computing spatial cross-attention. RESULTS: By applying CGP-Uformer to process the 2016 NIH AAPM-Mayo LDCT challenge dataset, experiments show that the peak signal-to-noise ratio value is 35.56 and the structural similarity value is 0.9221. CONCLUSIONS: Compared to the other four representative denoising networks currently, this new network demonstrates superior denoising performance and better preservation of image details. Osteosarcomas are a type of bone tumour that can develop anywhere in the bone but most typically do so around the metaphyseal growth plates at the ends of long bones. Death rates can be lowered by early detection. Manual osteosarcoma identification can be difficult and requires specialised knowledge. With the aid of contemporary technology, medical photographs may now be automatically analysed and categorised, enabling quicker and more effective data processing. This paper proposes a novel hyperparameter-tuned deep learning (DL) approach for predicting osteosarcoma on histology images with effective feature selection mechanism which aims to improve the prediction accuracy of the classification system for bone tumor detection. The proposed system mainly consists of '6' phases: data collection, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. Firstly, the dataset of histology images is gathered from openly available sources. Then Median Filtering (MEF) is utilized as the preprocessing step that enhances the quality of the input images for accurate prediction by eliminating unwanted information from them. Afterwards, the pre-processed image was segmented using Harmonic Mean-based Otsu Thresholding (HMOTH) approach to obtain the tumor-affected regions from the pre-processed data. Then the features from the segmented tumor portions are extracted using the Self-Attention Mechanism-based MobileNet (SAMMNet) model. A Van der Corput sequence and Adaptive Inertia Weight included Reptile Search Optimization Algorithm (VARSOA) is used to select the more relevant features from the extracted features. Finally, a Hyperparameter-Tuned Deep Elman Neural Network (HTDENN) is utilized to diagnose and classify osteosarcoma, in which the hyperparameters of the neural network are obtained optimally using the VARSOA. The proposed HTDENN attains the higher accuracy of 0.9531 for the maximum of 200 epochs, whereas the existing DENN, MLP, RF, and SVM attains the accuracies of 0.9492, 0.9427, 0.9413, and 0.9387. Likewise, the proposed model attains the better results for precision (0.9511), f-measure (0.9423), sensitivity (0.9345) and specificity (0.9711) than the existing approaches for the maximum of 200 epochs. In order to improve the accuracy of English online course teaching effect evaluation results, a paper proposed an English online course teaching effect evaluation method based on ResNet algorithm. The effect of College English online teaching was evaluated from five aspects: pre-class preparation, teaching content, basic skills, ability training, and teaching methods. Each evaluation item was set with seven levels of scoring standards. An evaluation model of the classroom teaching effect was constructed based on convolutional neural network according to the internal relationship between facial expression recognition and classroom teaching effect evaluation. Falls particularly among the older population has always been a matter of concern. With the steady rise of small families, the elderly is very often left alone at home. Dedicated nurses or caretakers are quite expensive. Thus, intelligent monitoring systems with automatic fall detection systems installed at home or nursing homes could be a game changer in such applications. In this paper, a simple yet effective fall detection system based on computer vision. Novelty of this paper is that it uses the Yolo v2 network on the depth videos for extracting the subject from cluttered background. The robust performance of the YOLOv2 network ensures accurate subject detection and removes the need for any complicated fall detection algorithm. With the rapid growth of Internet video image information, there is a large amount of redundancy in image data. Use less data stream information to transfer the image or the amount of information contained in the image. Its purpose is to reduce the redundancy of images, so as to store them at low bit rate and reduce the data storage space. In the general image compression method, the hybrid coding framework is adopted. Each algorithm adopts a fixed algorithm mode through a specific design algorithm, without global optimization. Image compression is mainly divided into prediction, transformation, quantization, digital entropy coding and other steps. At present, there are many researches on super-resolution network based on deep learning technology. The main function is to reconstruct high-resolution image replace image magnification low-resolution images such as linear interpolation, which has a great performance improvement image resolution, noise reduction, deblurring and so on, but there is no effective way to use super-resolution network applications to improve quality of compression reconstructed image quality. This paper involves a new method that using image super-resolution residual learning network to improve quality of compression image, our method, the reduced image is encoded into a content stream and a transmission corresponding parameter is encoded into a model stream. Firstly, the original image is scaled down 1/2 size of source image, then encode the small image into content stream with the existing codec. Secondly, the residual learning super-resolution (SR) network is used for image filtering to scale up reconstructed image with decode image resizing method and boost the quality of edge feature extraction of image. Human posture detection is easily affected by the external environment, resulting in blurred results of limb feature extraction. In order to improve the accuracy and speed of human motion detection, this paper proposes a deep learning-based motion detection method in competitive sports training. The double parallel convolution network algorithm in the depth learning algorithm is used to process the collected action information, extract the body action features, and greatly reduce the operation scale; With the help of the theory of motion mechanics, the mechanical parameters in the motion process are calculated to eliminate outliers and reduce feature dimensions; With the help of motion inertial sensors and joint degrees of freedom, the limb motion detection results are obtained. Glaucoma is a condition of the eye that is caused by an increase in the eye's intraocular pressure that, when it reaches its advanced stage, causes the patient to lose all of their vision. Thus, glaucoma screening-based treatment administered in a timely manner has the potential to prevent the patient from losing all of their vision. However, because glaucoma screening is a complicated process and there is a shortage of human resources, we frequently experience delays, which can lead to an increase in the proportion of people who have lost their eyesight worldwide. In order to overcome the limitations of current manual approaches, there is a critical need to create a reliable automated framework for early detection of Optic Disc (OD) and Optic Cup (OC) lesions. In addition, the classification process is made more difficult by the high degree of overlap between the lesion and eye colour. In this paper, we proposed an automatic detection of Glaucoma disease. In this proposed model is consisting of two major stages. First approach is segmentation and other method is classification. The initial phase uses a Stacked Attention based U-Net architecture to identify the optic disc in a retinal fundus image and then extract it. MobileNet-V2 is used for classification of and glaucoma and non-glaucoma images. This paper presents an automatic facial micro-expression recognition system (FMER) from video sequence. Identification and classification are performed on basic expressions: happy, surprise, fear, disgust, sadness, anger, and neutral states. The system integrates three main steps. The first step consists in face detection and tracking over three consecutive frames. In the second step, the facial contour extraction is performed on each frame to build Euclidean distance maps. The last task corresponds to the classification which is achieved with two methods; the SVM and using convolutional neural networks. Experimental evaluation of the proposed system for facial micro-expression identification is performed on the well-known databases (Chon and Kanade and CASME II), with six and seven facial expressions for each classification method. Speech Recognition and its potential applications in terms of "talking devices" have become indispensable in today's world. Technological advances like mobiles, smart home assistants or tablets extensively use the techniques of automatic speech recognition that works good for adults but cannot always follow and understand children's speech. The primary goal of this paper is to bridge the gap of communication between voice assistants and Indian children speaking English as secondary language. The issue of lack of children's speech corpora with English as non-native language, is addressed by creating a dataset of children in the age group of 5-15 years, speaking Hindi or Marathi as their mother tongue and English as their second language. The analysis and implementation of the proposed work shows the accuracy of approximately 96% and potential for further scope by increasing the size of dataset in lower age group. In the field of image classification, the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are effective. Most of the work focuses on improving and innovating CNN's network structure. However, using labeled data more effectively for training has also been an essential part of CNN's research. Combining image disturbance and consistency regularization theory, this paper proposes a model training method (PairTraining) that takes image pairs as input and dynamically modify the training difficulty according to the accuracy of the model in the training set. According to the accuracy of the model in the training set, the training process will be divided into three stages: the qualitative stage, the fine learning stage and the strengthening learning stage. Contrastive learning images are formed using a progressively enhanced image disturbance strategy at different training stages. The input image and contrast learning image are combined into image pairs for model training. The experiments are tested on four public datasets using eleven CNN models. These models have different degrees of improvement in accuracy on the four datasets. PairTraining can adapt to a variety of CNN models for image classification training. This method can better improve the effectiveness of training and improve the degree of generalization of classification models after training. Robust and reliable 3D multi-object tracking (MOT) is essential for autonomous driving in crowded urban road scenes. In those scenarios, accurate data association between tracked objects and incoming new detections is crucial. This paper presents a tracking system based on the Kalman filter that uses a deep learning approach to the association problem. The proposed architecture consists of three neural networks. First, a convolutional LSTM network extracts spatiotemporal features from a sequence of detections of the same track. Then, a Siamese network calculates the degree of similarity between all tracks and the new detections found at each new frame. Finally, a recurrent LSTM network is used to extract 3D and bounding box information. The task of cell segmentation in microscope images is difficult and popular. In recent years, deep learning-based techniques have made incredible progress in medical and microscopy image segmentation applications. In this paper, we propose a novel deep learning approach called Residual-Atrous MultiResUnet with Channel Attention Mechanism (RAMRU-CAM) for cell segmentation, which combines MultiResUnet architecture with Channel Attention Mechanism (CAM) and Residual-Atrous connections. The Residual-Atrous path mitigates the semantic gap between the encoder and decoder stages and manages the spatial dimension of feature maps. Furthermore, the Channel Attention Mechanism (CAM) blocks are used in the decoder stages to better maintain the spatial details before concatenating the feature maps from the encoder phases to the decoder phases. We evaluated our proposed model on the PhC-C2DH-U373 and Fluo-N2DH-GOWT1 datasets. The experimental results show that our proposed model outperforms recent variants of the U-Net model and the state-of-the-art approaches. Most methods for evaluating a company's financial performance currently focus on scoring, when there is a large amount of data, it is difficult to distinguish the company's financial status. To cluster and predict the financial performance of companies, a hybrid model based on the fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm (FCM) and convolutional neural network (CNN) is proposed in this paper. Pearson correlation analysis was first performed on the indicators to ensure that they are not correlated with each other and to avoid indicator redundancy. The entropy method determined the weight of each index and ensured the high validity of the selected indicators. Then, FCM clustering was carried out, and the performance of each company was clustered according to the indexes after data preprocessing with clustering labels. The processed data and labels were introduced into CNN to predict the level. The empirical study showed that the FCM-CNN model was superior to other machine learning models, which proved that this model has better clustering and forecasting ability, and could be applied to the prediction of corporate financial performance. The investigation on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) classification algorithm based on deep learning is particularly important in medical image analyses and has not been reported. This paper proposes an MRI classification algorithm based on convolutional neural network (MRINet), for accurately classifying CSVD and improving the classification performance. The working method includes five main stages: fabricating dataset, designing network model, configuring the training options, training model and testing performance. The actual training and testing datasets of MRI of CSVD are fabricated, the MRINet model is designed for extracting more detailedly features, a smooth categorical-cross-entropy loss function and Adam optimization algorithm are adopted, and the appropriate training parameters are set. The network model is trained and tested in the fabricated datasets, and the classification performance of CSVD is fully investigated. Experimental results show that the loss and accuracy curves demonstrate the better classification performance in the training process. The confusion matrices confirm that the designed network model demonstrates the better classification results, especially for luminal infarction. The average classification accuracy of MRINet is up to 80.95% when classifying MRI of CSVD, which demonstrates the superior classification performance over others. Masked face recognition embarks the interest among the researchers to find a better algorithm to improve the performance of face recognition applications, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic lately. This paper introduces a proposed masked face recognition method known as Principal Random Forest Convolutional Neural Network (PRFCNN). This method utilizes the strengths of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with the combination of Random Forest algorithm in Convolution Neural Network to pre-train the masked face features. PRFCNN is designed to assist in extracting more salient features and prevent overfitting problems. In today's world, Steel plates play essential materials for various industries like the national defense industry, chemical industry, automobile industry, machinery manufacturing, etc. However, some defects may occur in a few plates during the manufacture of stainless-steel plates which directly impact the quality of the stainless-steel plate. If the faulted plate detection can be done manually, then it leads to errors and a time-consuming process. Hence, a computerized automated system is necessary to detect the abnormalities. In this paper, a novel Adaptive Faster Region Convolutional Neural Networks (AFRCNN) scheme has been proposed for automatic fault detection of stainless-steel plates. The proposed AFRCNN scheme comprises three phases: identification, detection, and recognition. Primarily, the damaged plates are identified using Region Proposal Network and Fully Convolutional Neural Network functioning as a combined process under AFRCNN. In the next phase, the number corresponding to the particular plate is recognized through the standard Automated Plate Number Recognition approach with the support of the character recognition technique. The simulation results manifest that the proposed AFRCNN scheme obtains a superior classification accuracy of 99.36%, specificity of 99.24%, and F1-score of 98.18% as compared with the existing state-of-the-art schemes. The automation transformation of container lifting operations is one of the main technical issues in Rail-Truck intermodal transportation. To solve this problem, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of several existing container positioning methods, and proposed a container corner holes location detection method based on lightweight convolutional neural network and adaptive morphological image processing algorithm. This method locates the container through a visual sensor that shoots from top to bottom. In order to improve the positioning accuracy and calculation speed while maintaining a high recognition rate, this method first uses a lightweight SSD detector to quickly detect the rough coordinates of the container corner hole in the image. On this basis, the smallest rectangle detection method based on adaptive HSV filtering is used to detect the precise coordinates of the corner hole in the image. Experiments show that the recognition rate of this algorithm in the initial positioning process reaches 94.2%, the recognition rate of secondary positioning reaches 87.4%, and the final positioning error is lower than 3.765 pixels and 2.81 pixels in the heading and lateral directions, respectively. The overall calculation time of the algorithm can realize the positioning calculation of 30 frames per second, which shows that this method takes into account the characteristics of high measurement accuracy and high calculation speed on the basis of high recognition rate. In today's world, a Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) plays a vital role in order to secure the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). However, the traditional NIDS model faced critical constraints with network traffic data due to growth in the complexity of modern attacks. These constraints have a direct impact on the overall performance of the WSN. In this paper, a new robust network intrusion classification framework based on the enhanced Visual Geometry Group (VGG-19) pre-trained model has been proposed to prolong the performance of WSN. Primarily, the pre-trained weights from the ImageNet dataset are utilized to train the parameters of the VGG-19. Afterward, a Hybrid Deep Neural Network based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) will be employed to extract the influential features from network traffic data to enlarge the intrusion detection accuracy. The proposed VGG-19 + Hybrid CNN-LSTM model exploits both binary classification and multi-classification to classify attacks as either normal or attacked. A network intrusion benchmark dataset is used to assess the performance of the suggested system. Handwritten signature for the identification and authentication of an individual has been widely used in the biometric systems. Due to the intra-class and inter-class variabilities, signature verification has become one of the most challenging problem in the biometric technology. Furthermore, the offline handwritten signature can be forged by the skilled persons due to its static nature. Therefore, in this paper a deep learning-based method using convolutional neural network (CNN) for online signature verification has been developed. Different values of the convolutional kernels such as 1×1, 3×3 and 5×5 are used to extract the discriminative features at multi-scales. The features of the initial and middle layers of the CNN are combined to create more powerful features. An up-sampling method with bilinear interpolation has been used to add the features of convolutional layers with different spatial dimensions. Both the addition and concatenation methods have been used to aggregate the convolutional features. A convolutional transpose method is applied to increase the depth of the convolutional layers while performing an addition operation on the layers with different depths. Finally, the concatenated features are passed to the fully connected layers for high-level feature extraction and classification. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, an android application was developed where; a custom database of 985 online signatures collected from 197 users has been created. The problem of inadequate training data for online signature verification has been addressed through the data augmentation method. Because of the advantages of deep learning and information fusion technology, it has drawn much attention for researchers to combine them to achieve target recognition, positioning, and tracking. However, when the existing neural network process multichannel images (e.g., color images), multiple channels as a whole input into neural networks, which makes it hard for networks to fully learn information in R, G, and B channels of images. Therefore, it is not conducive to the final learning effect of the networks. To solve the problem, using different combinations of R, G, and B channels of color images for feature-level fusion, this paper proposes three fusion types as "R/G/B", "R+G/G+B/B+R", and "R+G+B/R+G+B/R+G+B" multichannel concat-fusional convolutional neural networks. Experimental results show that multichannel concat-fusional convolutional neural networks with fusional types of "R+G/G+B/B+R" and "R+G+B/R+G+B/R+G+B" achieve better performance than the corresponding non-fusional convolutional neural networks on different datasets. It shows that networks with fusion types of "R+G/G+B/B+R" and "R+G+B/R+G+B/R+G+B" can learn more fully information of R, G, and B channels of color images and improve the learning performance of networks. Hyperspectral Image (HSI) is usually composed of hundreds of capturing wavelength bands, which not only increase the size of the HSI rapidly but also impose various obstacles in classifying the objects accurately. Moreover, the traditional machine learning schemes utilize only the spectral features for HSI classification, which, therefore, neglect the spatial features that have a significant impact on the classification improvement. To address the aforementioned issues, in this paper, we propose to employ the principal component analysis (PCA), the baseline feature extraction method, and a thoughtfully designed stacked autoencoder, a deep learning-based feature extraction approach, for reducing the high dimensionality of the HSI and then propose a novel lightweight 3D-2D convolutional neural network (CNN) framework to concurrently exploit both spatial and spectral features from the dimensionality-reduced HSI for classification. In particular, PCA and stacked autoencoder are applied to reduce the high dimensionality of the original HSI and then the proposed 3D-2D CNN provides a combination of 3D and 2D convolution operations to extract the subtle spatial and spectral features for efficient classification. We well-adjust the proposed 3D-2D CNN architecture, and perform extensive experiments on three benchmark HSI datasets and compare our approach with the state-of-the-art classical and deep learning methods. Experimental results illustrate that we have achieved an overall accuracy of 99.73%, 99.90%, and 99.32% on Indian Pines, Pavia University, and Kennedy Space Center datasets, respectively, which outperform the classical machine learning and independent 2D and 3D CNN-based state-of-the-art methods. With the continuous development of sensor and computer technology, human-computer interaction technology is also improving. Gesture recognition has become a research hotspot in human-computer interaction, sign language recognition, rehabilitation training, and sports medicine. This paper proposed a method of hand gestures recognition which extracts the time domain and frequency domain features from surface electromyography (sEMG) by using an improved multi-channels convolutional neural network (IMC-CNN). The 10 most commonly used hand gestures are recognized by using the spectral features of sEMG signals which is the input of the IMC-CNN model. Firstly, the third-order Butterworth low-pass filter and high-pass filter are used to denoise the sEMG signal. Secondly, effective sEMG signal segment from denoised signal is applied. Thirdly, the spectrogram features of different channels' sEMG signals are merged into a comprehensive improved spectrogram feature which is used as the input of IMC-CNN to classify the hand gestures. Finally, the recognition accuracy of IMC-CNN model, three single channel CNN of IMC-CNN model, SVM, LDA, LCNN and EMGNET are compared. The experiment was carried out on the same dataset and the same computer. The experimental results showed that the recognition accuracy, sensitivity and accuracy of the proposed model reached 97.5%, 97.25% and 96.25% respectively. The occlusion in the real feedlot environment is ubiquitous, and the current research based on the cattle face recognition under occlusion conditions is almost non-existent. Thus, an attention mechanism module with high accuracy and low model complexity is designed to incorporate into MobileNet so that the cattle face under occlusion can be identify accurately, which is the RGB images captured in the ranch environment. In this paper, we also construct a Simmental cattle face image dataset for data modeling and method evaluation, which contains 10,239 images of 103 cattle. The experimental results show that when the occluder is in the upper left and lower right corner, if the occlusion rate is less than 30%, the value of Top_1 reaches more than 90%; if it is less than 50%, the value of Top_1 is more than 80%. Even if the middle part occludes lots of important information, the occlusion rate of 40% has an accuracy of more than 80%. Furthermore, comparing the proposal model with MobileNet, the parameter and model size are equal, and the amount of calculation as a cost increase a little. The need to detect and classify objects correctly is a constant challenge, being able to recognize them at different scales and scenarios, sometimes cropped or badly lit is not an easy task. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) have become a widely applied technique since they are completely trainable and suitable to extract features. However, the growing number of convolutional neural networks applications constantly pushes their accuracy improvement. Initially, those improvements involved the use of large datasets, augmentation techniques, and complex algorithms. These methods may have a high computational cost. Nevertheless, feature extraction is known to be the heart of the problem. As a result, other approaches combine different technologies to extract better features to improve the accuracy without the need of more powerful hardware resources. In this paper, we propose a hybrid pooling method that incorporates multiresolution analysis within the CNN layers to reduce the feature map size without losing details. To prevent relevant information from losing during the downsampling process an existing pooling method is combined with wavelet transform technique, keeping those details "alive" and enriching other stages of the CNN. The issue of detecting improvised explosive devices, henceforth IEDs, in rural or built-up urban environments is a persistent and serious concern for governments in the developing world. In many cases, such devices are plastic, or varied metallic objects containing rudimentary explosives, which are not visible to the naked eye and are difficult to detect autonomously. The most effective strategy for detecting land mines also happens to be the most dangerous. This paper intends to leverage the use of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to aid in the discovery of such IEDs. As part of a related project, an autonomous sensor array was used to detect the devices in terrains too hazardous for a human to survey. This paper presents a CNN and its training methodology, suitable to make use of the sensor system. This convolutional neural network can accurately distinguish between a potential IED and surrounding undergrowth and natural features of the environment in real-time. The training methodology enabled the CNN to successfully recognise the IEDs with an accuracy of 98.7%, in well-lit conditions. The results are evaluated against other convolutional neural systems as well as against a deterministic algorithm, showing that the proposed CNN outperforms its competitors including the deterministic method. Malaria is one of the three major diseases with the highest mortality worldwide and can turn fatal if not taken seriously. The key to surviving this disease is its early diagnosis. However, manual diagnosis is time consuming and tedious due to the large amount of image data. Generally, computer-aided diagnosis can effectively improve doctors' perception and accuracy. This paper presents a medical diagnosis method powered by convolutional neural network (CNN) to extract features from images and improve early detection of malaria. The image sharpening and histogram equalization method are used aiming at enlarging the difference between parasitized regions and other area. Dropout technology is employed in every convolutional layer to reduce overfitting in the network, which is proved to be effective. The proposed CNN model achieves a significant performance with the best classification accuracy of 99.98%. Moreover, this paper compares the proposed model with the pretrained CNNs and other traditional algorithms. The results indicate the proposed model can achieve state-of-the-art performance from multiple metrics. In general, the novelty of this work is the reduction of the CNN structure to only five layers, thereby greatly reducing the running time and the number of parameters, which is demonstrated in the experiments. Identification/recognition of assault, fighting, shooting, and vandalism from video sequence using deep 2D and 3D convolutional neural networks (CNNs) is explored in this paper. Recent wave of extensive unrestricted urbanization has not only uplifted the standard of living, but has also threatened the safety of a common man leading to an extraordinary rise in crime rate. Although Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage provides a monitoring framework, yet, it's useless without an auto volume crime detection system. The system proposed in this work is an effort to eradicate volume crimes through accurate detection in real-time. Firstly, a fine-grained annotated dataset including instance and activity information has been developed for real-world volume crimes. Secondly, a comparison between 3D CNN and 2D CNN network has been presented to identify the malicious event from the video sequence. This is carried out to explore the significance of spatial and temporal information present in the video for event recognition. It has been observed that 2D CNN even with lesser parameters achieved a promising classification accuracy of 91.2%and Area under the curve (AUC) of 95.2%on four classes. Single biometric modalities like facial features and vein patterns despite being reliable characteristics show limitations that restrict them from offering high performance and robustness. Multimodal biometric systems have gained interest due to their ability to overcome the inherent limitations of the underlying single biometric modalities and generally have been shown to improve the overall performance for identification and recognition purposes. This paper proposes highly accurate and robust multimodal biometric identification as well as recognition systems based on fusion of face and finger vein modalities. The feature extraction for both face and finger vein is carried out by exploiting deep convolutional neural networks. The fusion process involves combining the extracted relevant features from the two modalities at score level. BACKGROUND: The noise in magnetic resonance (MR) images causes severe issues for medical diagnosis purposes. OBJECTIVE: In this paper, we propose a discriminative learning based convolutional neural network denoiser to denoise the MR image data contaminated with noise. METHODS: The proposed method incorporates the use of depthwise separable convolution along with local response normalization with modified hyperparameters and internal skip connections to denoise the contaminated MR images. Moreover, the addition of parametric RELU instead of normal conventional RELU in our proposed architecture gives more stable and fine results. The denoised images were further segmented to test the appropriateness of the results. The network is trained on one dataset and tested on other dataset produces remarkably good results. RESULTS: Our proposed network was used to denoise the images of different noise levels, and it yields better performance as compared with various networks. The SSIM and PSNR showed an average improvement of (7.2 ± 0.002) % and (8.5 ± 0.25) % respectively when tested on different datasets without retaining the network. An improvement of 5% and 6% was achieved in the values of mean intersection over union (mIoU) and BF score when the denoised images were segmented for testing the relevancy in biomedical imaging applications. The statistical test suggests that the obtained results are statistically significant as p < 0.05. CONCLUSION: The denoised images obtained are more clinically suitable for medical image diagnosis purposes, as depicted by the evaluation parameters. This system also employs relevant pre-processing techniques to convert RGB to text and image to Canny image. Techniques such as Multi-Label Classification of images and Segmentation are used for getting the probability of occurrence. The dataset is created, on our own, that consists of 1000 images. The dataset has the training data and testing data in the proportion of 9 : 1. Each time a different database is used, a different combination of the hyperparameters is required. This paper introduces two COVID-19 diagnosing systems using both Residual Network and Xception Network optimized by random search in the purpose of finding optimal models that give better diagnosis rates for COVID-19. The proposed systems showed that hyperparameters tuning for the ResNet and the Xception Net using random search optimization give more accurate results than other techniques with accuracies 99.27536% and 100 % respectively. We can conclude that hyperparameters tuning using random search optimization for either the tuned Residual Network or the tuned Xception Network gives better accuracies than other techniques diagnosing COVID-19. The correct identification of gene recombination cold/hot spots is of great significance for studying meiotic recombination and genetic evolution. However, most of the existing recombination spots recognition methods ignore the global sequence information hidden in the DNA sequence, resulting in their low recognition accuracy. A computational predictor called iRSpot-DCC was proposed in this paper to improve the accuracy of cold/hot spots identification. In this approach, we propose a feature extraction method based on dinucleotide correlation coefficients that focus more on extracting potential DNA global sequence information. Then, 234 representative features vectors are filtered by SVM weight calculation. Finally, a convolutional neural network with better performance than SVM is selected as a classifier. The experimental results of 5-fold cross-validation test on two standard benchmark datasets showed that the prediction accuracy of our recognition method reached 95.11%, and the Mathew correlation coefficient (MCC) reaches 90.04%, outperforming most other methods. Therefore, iRspot-DCC is a high-precision cold/hot spots identification method for gene recombination, which effectively extracts potential global sequence information from DNA sequences.
