Recently, with the emergence of many image editing tools (photoshop, Topaz studio, etc.), the authenticity of images has been severely challenged. However, the performance of some existing traditional feature extraction methods and detection methods based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is poor, and the information provided by the features extracted from the network is limited and single. In this paper, an end-to-end ringed residual U-Net is proposed to detect image splicing forgery by blending features of non-natural regions. Some regions with significant differences from the image background are defined as non-natural regions(such as the irregular border at the splicing of images). In this paper, a feature enhancement module for non-natural regions is constructed, which the image through the pooling of four different scales, and these features are then combined with the original image and input to the backbone network for processing, aiming to highlight regions of the image that differ significantly from the background. Therefore, after adding the feature enhancement module for non-natural regions to the end-to-end ring residual U-Net, more attention will be paid to the tampering regions in the feature extraction stage, image manipulation detection and localization will also become more accurate. Compared with some mainstream methods, this method achieves better performance on the three standard datasets(CASIA2.0, NIST2016, COLUMBIA). Object detection has made significant strides in recent years, but it remains a challenging task to accurately and quickly identify and detect objects. While humans can easily recognize objects in images or videos regardless of their appearance, computers face difficulties in this task. Object detection plays a crucial role in computer vision and finds applications in various domains such as healthcare, security, agriculture, home automation and more. To address the challenges of object detection, several techniques have been developed including RCNN, Faster RCNN, YOLO and Single Shot Detector (SSD). In this paper, we propose a modified YOLOv5s architecture that aims to improve detection performance. Our modified architecture incorporates the C3Ghost module along with the SPP and SPPF modules in the YOLOv5s backbone network. We also utilize the Adam and Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) optimizers. The paper also provides an overview of three major versions of the YOLO object detection model: YOLOv3, YOLOv4 and YOLOv5. We discussed their respective performance analyses. For our evaluation, we collected a database of pig images from the ICAR-National Research Centre on Pig farm. We assessed the performance using four metrics such as Precision (P), Recall (R), F1-score and mAP @ 0.50. The computational results demonstrate that our method YOLOv5s architecture achieves a 0.0414 higher mAP while utilizing less memory space compared to the original YOLOv5s architecture. This research contributes to the advancement of object detection techniques and showcases the potential of our modified YOLOv5s architecture for improved performance in real world applications. Previously, single classification models were mainly studied to classify human protein cell images, i.e., to identify a certain protein based on a set of different cells. However, a classifier can identify only one protein, in fact, a single cell usually consists of multiple proteins, and the proteins are not completely independent of each other. In this paper, we build a human protein cell classification model by multi-label learning. The logical relationship and distribution characteristics among the labels are analyzed to determine the different proteins contained in a set of different cells (i.e., containing multiple elements in the output space). In this paper, using human protein image data, we conducted comparison experiments on pre-trained Xception and InceptionResnet V2 to optimize the two models in terms of data augmentation, channel settings, and model structure. The results show that the Optimized InceptionResnet V2 model achieves high performance in the classification task. With the rapid development of information technology, electronic signature plays an increasingly important role in people's production practice. However, there are a large number of hackers maliciously stealing information in the network. In order to avoid this phenomenon, we urgently need to strengthen the research on online electronic signature recognition technology. Based on the sparse classification technology of neural model, this paper constructs an online electronic signature recognition model by using convolutional neural network and sparse classification technology. We first extract the local features of online electronic signatures, construct feature vectors and perform sparse representation. Sub-model we construct a scheme for online electronic signature recognition based on neural models and sparse classification techniques using a combination of algorithms. In this paper, we study online electronic signature recognition technology, using neural model and sparse classification to construct an efficient and accurate recognition model. Experiments show that the model is effective and the number of training samples affects the recognition accuracy. This paper provides a new approach for the development of this technique. When the training samples are greater than 1300, the recognition accuracy is stable at 95%. Millions of traffic accidents occur worldwide each year, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths. The primary cause is the distracted behavior of drivers during the driving process. If the distracted behaviors of drivers during driving can be detected and recognized in time, drivers can regulate their driving and the goal of reducing the number of traffic fatalities can be achieved. A deep learning model is proposed to detect driver distractions in this paper. The model can identify ten behaviors including one normal driving behavior and nine distracted driving behaviors. The proposed model consists of two modules. In the first module, the cross-domain complementary learning (CDCL) algorithm is used to detect driver body parts in the input images, which reduces the impact of environmental factors in vehicles on the convolutional neural network. Then the output images of the first module are sent to the second module. The Resnet50 and Vanilla networks are ensembled in the second module, and then the driver behavior can be classified. The ensemble architecture used in the second module can reduce the sensitivity of only a single network on the data, and then the detection accuracy can be improved. The rapid development of deep learning techniques has greatly improved the performance of medical image segmentation, and medical image segmentation networks based on convolutional neural networks and Transformer have been widely used in this field. However, due to the limitation of the restricted receptive field of convolutional operation and the lack of local fine information extraction ability of the self-attention mechanism in Transformer, the current neural networks with pure convolutional or Transformer structure as the backbone still perform poorly in medical image segmentation.In this paper, we propose FDB-Net (Fusion Double Branch Network, FDB-Net), a double branch medical image segmentation network combining CNN and Transformer, by using a CNN containing g n Conv blocks and a Transformer containing Varied-Size Window Attention (VWA) blocks as the feature extraction backbone network, the dual-path encoder ensures that the network has a global receptive field as well as access to the target local detail features. We also propose a new feature fusion module (Deep Feature Fusion, DFF), which helps the image to simultaneously fuse features from two different structural encoders during the encoding process, ensuring the effective fusion of global and local information of the image.Our model achieves advanced results in all three typical tasks of medical image segmentation, which fully validates the effectiveness of FDB-Net. Enforcing vehicle speed limits is paramount for road safety. This paper pioneers an innovative approach by synergizing signal processing and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to detect speeding violations, addressing a critical aspect of traffic management. While traditional methods have shown efficacy, the potential synergy of signal processing and AI techniques remains largely unexplored. We bridge this gap by harnessing Mel spectrograms extracted from vehicle recordings, representing intricate audio features. These spectrograms serve as inputs to a tailored CNN architecture, meticulously designed for pattern recognition in speeding-related audio cues. An altered variant of the crayfish optimization algorithm (COA) was employed to tune the CNN model. Our methodology aims to discriminate between normal driving sounds and instances of speed limit breaches. Notably absent from previous literature, our fusion method yields promising initial results, demonstrating its potential to accurately identify speeding violations. Deformable medical image registration is a fundamental and critical task in medical image analysis. Recently, deep learning-based methods have rapidly developed and have shown impressive results in deformable image registration. However, existing approaches still suffer from limitations in registration accuracy or generalization performance. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a pure convolutional neural network module (CVTF) to implement hierarchical transformers and enhance the registration performance of medical images. CVTF has a larger convolutional kernel, providing a larger global effective receptive field, which can improve the network's ability to capture long-range dependencies. In addition, we introduce the spatial interaction attention (SIA) module to compute the interrelationship between the target feature pixel points and all other points in the feature map. This helps to improve the semantic understanding of the model by emphasizing important features and suppressing irrelevant ones. Based on the proposed CVTF and SIA, we construct a novel registration framework named PCTNet. We applied PCTNet to generate displacement fields and register medical images, and we conducted extensive experiments and validation on two public datasets, OASIS and LPBA40. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and generality of our method, showing significant improvements in registration accuracy and generalization performance compared to existing methods. BACKGROUND: Thyroid tumor is considered to be a very rare form of cancer. But recent researches and surveys highlight the fact that it is becoming prevalent these days because of various factors. OBJECTIVES: This paper proposes a novel hybrid classification system that is able to identify and classify the above said four different types of thyroid tumors using high end artificial intelligence techniques. The input data set is obtained from Digital Database of Thyroid Ultrasound Images through Kaggle repository and augmented for achieving a better classification performance using data warping mechanisms like flipping, rotation, cropping, scaling, and shifting. METHODS: The input data after augmentation goes through preprocessing with the help of bilateral filter and is contrast enhanced using dynamic histogram equalization. The ultrasound images are then segmented using SegNet algorithm of convolutional neural network. The features needed for thyroid tumor classification are obtained from two different algorithms called CapsuleNet and EfficientNetB2 and both the features are fused together. This process of feature fusion is carried out to heighten the accuracy of classification. RESULTS: A Multilayer Perceptron Classifier is used for classification and Bonobo optimizer is employed for optimizing the results produced. The classification performance of the proposed model is weighted using metrics like accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, F1-score, and Matthew's correlation coefficient. CONCLUSION: It can be observed from the results that the proposed multilayer perceptron based thyroid tumor type classification system works in an efficient manner than the existing classifiers like CANFES, Spatial Fuzzy C means, Deep Belief Networks, Thynet and Generative adversarial network and Long Short-Term memory. Breast cancer is one of the cancers with high morbidity and mortality in the world, which is a serious threat to the health of women. With the development of deep learning, the recognition about computer-aided diagnosis technology is getting higher and higher. And the traditional data feature extraction technology has been gradually replaced by the feature extraction technology based on convolutional neural network which helps to realize the automatic recognition and classification of pathological images. In this paper, a novel method based on deep learning and wavelet transform is proposed to classify the pathological images of breast cancer. Firstly, the image flip technique is used to expand the data set, then the two-level wavelet decomposition and reconfiguration technology is used to sharpen and enhance the pathological images. Secondly, the processed data set is divided into the training set and the test set according to 8:2 and 7:3, and the YOLOv8 network model is selected to perform the eight classification tasks of breast cancer pathological images. Finally, the classification accuracy of the proposed method is compared with the classification accuracy obtained by YOLOv8 for the original BreaKHis dataset, and it is found that the algorithm can improve the classification accuracy of images with different magnifications, which proves the effectiveness of combining two-level wavelet decomposition and reconfiguration with YOLOv8 network model. For the power generation prediction of traditional hydropower stations, most of them only use time series prediction and neglect to study the spatial topological relationship of hydropower stations in the river basin, so that it is difficult to fully explore the characteristic relationship of space power stations. In this paper, a research method for power generation prediction of hydropower in river basin hydropower stations based on multi-head attention map convolutional neural network is proposed. This method establishes a first-level node neighborhood feature map based on the spatial geographic distribution information of hydropower stations in the basin, and uses the method of graph convolution to carry out node feature mining and feature learning, so as to transform the power generation capacity evaluation problem of the hydropower station in the basin into the node prediction problem in the graph, which is different from the global normalization rule. the multi-head attention mechanism introduced further improves the information aggregation quality of the graph node, and uses the historical temperature, power generation, electricity price, unit status and other data of each hydropower station in the basin for training. The reasoning results show that the proposed method achieves higher accuracy than other schemes, and the power prediction method is conducive to the formulation of power plans of hydropower stations in the basin, and can also play a positive role in guiding the site selection of hydropower plants. Adverse weather conditions, such as snow-covered roads, represent a challenge for autonomous vehicle research. This is particularly challenging as it might cause misalignment between the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the actual direction of travel. In this paper, we extend previous work in the field of autonomous vehicles on snow-covered roads and present a novel approach for side-slip angle estimation that combines perception with a hybrid artificial neural network pushing the prediction horizon beyond existing approaches. We exploited the feature extraction capabilities of convolutional neural networks and the dynamic time series relationship learning capabilities of gated recurrent units and combined them with a motion model to estimate the side-slip angle. Subsequently, we evaluated the model using the 3DCoAutoSim simulation platform, where we designed a suitable simulation environment with snowfall, friction, and car tracks in snow. The results revealed that our approach outperforms the baseline model for prediction horizons ⩾ 2 seconds. This extended prediction horizon has practical implications, by providing drivers and autonomous systems with more time to make informed decisions, thereby enhancing road safety. Detection and classification methods for the melt pool state in laser direct energy deposition (L-DED) can significantly help predict defects and mechanical properties of L-DED metal parts. Although traditional machine learning algorithms based on physical modeling methods and convolutional neural networks have recently been introduced into melt pool state identification, these methods rely on complex artificially designed features or cannot simultaneously detect defects in multiple dimensions. In this paper, a novel bilateral stream neural network was designed for melt pool identification, which performs defect identification in two label dimensions simultaneously. Two sets of single-channel experiments were designed to collect the dataset captured by a high-speed camera. By cutting the metal parts and marking them with professional equipment operated by professionals, the dataset was labeled according to the bonding condition and dilution rate criteria. Without an additive model structure, the model achieved 95.2% accuracy in identifying defects in the bonding condition and 92.8% in determining deficiencies in the dilution rate. In order to explain the identification mechanism of the model, the CAM method was utilized for the visual display of the model recognition process, which provides a potential application solution for the online monitoring method of the L-DED. Efficient feature representation is the key to improving crowd counting performance. CNN and Transformer are the two commonly used feature extraction frameworks in the field of crowd counting. CNN excels at hierarchically extracting local features to obtain a multi-scale feature representation of the image, but it struggles with capturing global features. Transformer, on the other hand, could capture global feature representation by utilizing cascaded self-attention to capture remote dependency relationships, but it often overlooks local detail information. Therefore, relying solely on CNN or Transformer for crowd counting has certain limitations. In this paper, we propose the TCHNet crowd counting model by combining the CNN and Transformer frameworks. The model employs the CMT (CNNs Meet Vision Transformers) backbone network as the Feature Extraction Module (FEM) to hierarchically extract local and global features of the crowd using a combination of convolution and self-attention mechanisms. To obtain more comprehensive spatial local information, an improved Progressive Multi-scale Learning Process (PMLP) is introduced into the FEM, guiding the network to learn at different granularity levels. The features from these three different granularity levels are then fed into the Multi-scale Feature Aggregation Module (MFAM) for fusion. Finally, a Multi-Scale Regression Module (MSRM) is designed to handle the multi-scale fused features, resulting in crowd features rich in high-level semantics and low-level detail. The segmentation of neuronal morphology in electron microscopy images is crucial for the analysis and understanding of neuronal function. However, most of the existing segmentation methods are not suitable for challenging datasets where the neuronal structure is contaminated by noise or has interrupted parts. In this paper, we propose a segmentation method based on deep learning to determine the location information of neurons and reduce the influence of image noise in the data. Specifically, we adapt our neuron dataset based on UNet by using convolution with BN fusion and multi-input feature fusion. The method is named REDAFNet. The model simplifies the model structure and enhances the generalization ability by fusing the convolution layer and BN layer. The noise interference in the data was reduced by multi-input feature fusion, and the ability to understand and express the data was enhanced. The method takes a neuron image as input and its pixel segmentation map as output. Experimental results show that the segmentation accuracy of the proposed method is 91.96%, 93.86% and 80.25% on the ISBI2012 dataset, U-RISC retinal neuron dataset and N2DH-GOWT1 stem cell dataset, respectively. Parkinson disease (PD) is a type of neurodegenerative disorder that affects the motor movement of the patient. But each technique has its own advantages or disadvantages. In gene, speech and handwriting data model, the feature extraction and reduction is an important step for efficient classification. These two steps require proper attention for selection and also require high processing time as compared to other data model like images. Because in image modality, the deep learning algorithm can be applied that can perform all process and automate the classification. As compared to these domains, the signal produces better and best results. Because the electroencephalogram (EEG) signal are taken from the brain using electrodes and it helps to observe the brain signals effectively and immediately as compared to the other data modals. Hence, in this paper, the wavelet transform will be used to decompose the signals and statistical features will be extracted from the transformed signal. Here, the satin bower bird optimization will be used for both type of wavelet selection and feature reduction process for final classification. The reduced feature set will be classified using Ensemble Neural Network type including InceptionV3, DenseNet, MobileNet, Xception, and NasNet) recently proposed for medical image classification. The whole process will be realized using MATLAB R2021a software and its performance will be evaluated in terms of Accuracy and is compared against Automated Tunable Q-wavelet transform performance. The proposed ensemble method, employing EEG signal processing and neural networks, achieved a 97% success rate in discriminating PD datasets, surpassing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Machine Learning (ML) classifications (88% –92%). With the development of artificial intelligence, deep-learning-based log anomaly detection proves to be an important research topic. In this paper, we propose LogCSS, a novel log anomaly detection framework based on the Context-Semantics-Statistics Convolutional Neural Network (CSSCNN). It is the first model that uses BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to extract the semantic, temporal, and correlational features of the logs. We combine the features with the statistic information of log templates for the classification model to improve the accuracy. We also propose a technique, DOOT (Deals with the Out-Of-Templates), for online template matching. The experimental research shows that our framework improves the average F1 score of the six best algorithms in the industry by more than 5% on the open-source dataset HDFS, and improves the average F1 score of the six best algorithms in the industry by more than 8% on the BGL dataset, LogCSS also performs better than other similar methods on our own constructed dataset. Pedestrian detection plays a crucial role in ensuring traffic safety within the domain of computer vision. However, accurately detecting pedestrians in complex environments proves to be a challenge due to issues such as occlusion. To address this issue, this paper presents an end-to-end pedestrian detection model founded on the DEtection TRansformer (DETR) architecture, effectively managing occlusion scenarios. The proposed model comprises a backbone Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and a Transformer network. The backbone CNN incorporates variable convolution and U-Net design principles to enhance feature extraction capabilities, particularly for occluded pedestrians. Additionally, our innovative Adaptive Occlusion-Aware Attention Mechanism (AOAM) is embedded within the Transformer network, allowing the model to dynamically adjust attention weights and enhance the localization and identification of occluded pedestrians. Extensive experiments on the Caltech and ETH datasets demonstrate the superior performance of our model compared to state-of-the-art approaches across four key evaluation metrics. Military object military object detection technology serves as the foundation and critical component for reconnaissance and command decision-making, playing a significant role in information-based and intelligent warfare. However, many existing military object detection models focus on exploring deeper and more complex architectures, which results in models with a large number of parameters. This makes them unsuitable for inference on mobile or resource-constrained combat equipment, such as combat helmets and reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a lightweight detection framework. A CSP-GhostnetV2 module is proposed in our method to make the feature extraction network more lightweight while extracting more effective information. Furthermore, to fuse multiscale information in low-computational scenarios, GSConv and the proposed CSP-RepGhost are used to form a lightweight feature aggregation network. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed lightweight model has significant advantages in detection accuracy and efficiency compared to other detection algorithms. As a list of remotely sensed data sources is available, the effective processing of remote sensing images is of great significance in practical applications in various fields. This paper proposes a new lightweight network to solve the problem of remote sensing image processing by using the method of deep learning. Specifically, the proposed model employs ShuffleNet V2 as the backbone network, appropriately increases part of the convolution kernels to improve the classification accuracy of the network, and uses the maximum overlapping pooling layer to enhance the detailed features of the input images. Finally, Squeeze and Excitation (SE) blocks are introduced as the attention mechanism to improve the architecture of the network. Experimental results based on several multisource data show that our proposed network model has a good classification effect on the test samples and can achieve more excellent classification performance than some existing methods, with an accuracy of 91%, and can be used for the classification of remote sensing images. Text summarizing (TS) takes key information from a source text and condenses it for the user while retaining the primary material. When it comes to text summaries, the most difficult problem is to provide broad topic coverage and diversity in a single summary. Overall, text summarization addresses the fundamental need to distill large volumes of information into more manageable and digestible forms, making it a crucial technology in the era of information abundance. It benefits individuals, businesses, researchers, and various other stakeholders by enhancing efficiency and comprehension in dealing with textual data. In this paper, proposed a novel Modified Generative adversarial network (MGAN) for summarize the text. The proposed model involves three stages namely pre-processing, Extractive summarization, and summary generation. In the first Phase, the Text similarity dataset is pre-processed using Lowering Casing, Tokenization, Lemmatization, and, Stop Word Removal. In the second Phase, the Extractive summarization is done in three steps Generating similarity metrics, Sentence Ranking, and Sentence Extractive. In the third stage, a generative adversarial network (GAN) employs summary generation to jointly train the discriminative model D and the generative model G. To classify texts and annotate their syntax, Generative Model G employs a convolutional neural network called Bidirectional Gated Recursive Unit (CNN-BiGRU). The performance analysis of the proposed MGAN is calculated based on the parameters like accuracy, specificity, Recall, and Precision metrics. The proposed MGAN achieves an accuracy range of 99%. The accurate detection of traffic signs is a critical component of self-driving systems, enabling safe and efficient navigation. In the literature, various methods have been investigated for traffic sign detection, among which deep learning-based approaches have demonstrated superior performance compared to other techniques. However, the current research challenge lies in addressing the need for high accuracy rates and real-time processing requirements. In this study, we propose a convolutional neural network based on the YOLOv8 algorithm to overcome the aforementioned research challenge. Our approach involves generating a custom dataset with diverse traffic sign images, followed by conducting training, validation, and testing sets to ensure the robustness and generalization of the model. Experimental results and performance evaluation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Now, the Cyber security is facing unprecedented difficulties as a result of the proliferation of smart devices in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. The rapid growth in the number of Internet users over the past two decades has increased the need for cyber security. Users have provided new opportunities for attackers to do harm. Limited security budgets leave IoT devices vulnerable and easily hacked to launch distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, with disastrous results. Unfortunately, due to the unique nature of the Internet of Things environment, most security solutions and intrusion detection systems (IDS) cannot be directly adapted to the IoT with acceptable security performance and are vulnerable to various attacks that do not benefit. In this paper we propose an optimal secure defense mechanism for DDoS in IoT network using feature optimization and intrusion detection system (OSD-IDS). In OSD-IDS mechanism, first we introduce an enhanced ResNet architecture for feature extraction which extracts more deep features from given traffic traces. An improved quantum query optimization (IQQO) algorithm for is used feature selection to selects optimal best among multiple features which reduces the data dimensionality issues. The selected features have given to the detection and classification module to classify the traffic traces are affected by intrusion or not. For this, we design a fast and accurate intrusion detection mechanism, named as hybrid deep learning technique which combines convolutional neural network (CNN) and diagonal XG boosting (CNN-DigXG) for the fast and accurate intrusion detection in IoT network. Finally, we validate the performance of proposed technique by using different benchmark datasets are BoNeSi-SlowHTTPtest and CIC-DDoS2019. The simulation results of proposed IDS mechanism are compared with the existing state-of-art IDS mechanism and analyze the performance with respects to different statistical measures. Hand-drawn is one of the few visual descriptors that can directly represent visual content, and has significant research in the area of computer vision. Aiming at the problem of sparse features in the realm of hand-drawn image retrieval, hand-drawn images, and the easy deformation of hand-drawn images, this paper proposes a feature extraction method of grid resource sharing collaborative algorithm, which can be obtained utilizing precisely extracted semantic characteristics from hand-drawn images through computer multimedia-aided design Efficient and accurate retrieval results. First, the fundamental framework for obtaining semantic features is algorithm; then the attention model mechanism is the grid resource sharing collaborative introduced in the process of supervised training, and the attention structure block is introduced after the convolutional neural network's bottom layer. To locate effective semantic features, In order to accomplish high-precision retrieval, the attention structure block combines channel attention structure and spatial attention structure to build the attention structure block. The last feature descriptor is then created by combining various semantic feature levels. Ultrasound is one of the non-invasive techniques that are used in clinical diagnostics of carotid artery disease. This paper presents software methodology that can be used in combination with this imaging technique to provide additional information about the state of patient-specific artery. Overall three modules are combined within the proposed methodology. A clinical dataset is used within the deep learning module to extract the contours of the carotid artery. This data is then used within the second module to perform the three-dimensional reconstruction of the geometry of the carotid bifurcation and ultimately this geometry is used within the third module, where the hemodynamic analysis is performed. The obtained distributions of hemodynamic quantities enable a more detailed analysis of the blood flow and state of the arterial wall and could be useful to predict further progress of present abnormalities in the carotid bifurcation. The performance of the deep learning module was demonstrated through the high values of relevant common classification metric parameters. Also, the accuracy of the proposed methodology was shown through the validation of results for the reconstructed parameters against the clinically measured values. The presented methodology could be used in combination with standard clinical ultrasound examination to quickly provide additional quantitative and qualitative information about the state of the patient’s carotid bifurcation and thus ensure a treatment that is more adapted to the specific patient. Accurate segmentation of knee cartilage in MR images is crucial for early diagnosis and treatment of knee conditions. Manual segmentation is time-consuming, leading researchers to explore automatic deep learning methods. However, the choice between 2D and 3D networks for organ segmentation remains debated. In this paper, we propose a hybrid 2D and 3D deep neural network approach, named UVNet, which combines the strengths of both techniques to enhance segmentation performance. Within this network structure, the 3D segmentation network serves as the backbone for feature extraction, while the 2D segmentation network functions as an information supplement network. Local and global MIP images are generated by employing various maximum intensity projection modes of knee MRI volumes as input for the information supplement network. By constructing a local and global MIP feature fusion module, the supplementary information obtained from the 2D segmentation network is fully integrated into the backbone network. We assess the quality of the proposed method using the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) dataset and the 2010 Grand Challenge Knee Image Segmentation (SKI-10) dataset, comparing it to the Baseline Network and other advanced 2D and 3D segmentation methods. In recent years, UNet and its derivative networks have gained widespread recognition as major methods of medical image segmentation. However, networks like UNet often struggle with Point-of-Care (POC) healthcare applications due to their high number of parameters and computational complexity. To tackle these challenges, this paper introduces an efficient network designed for medical image segmentation called MCU-Net, which leverages ConvNeXt to enhance UNet. 1) Based on ConvNeXt, MCU-Net proposes the MCU Block, which employs techniques such as large kernel convolution, depth-wise separable convolution, and an inverted bottleneck design. To ensure stable segmentation performance, it also integrates global response normalization (GRN) layers and Gaussian Error Linear Unit (GELU) activation functions. 2) Additionally, MCU-Net introduces an enhanced Multi-Scale Convolution Attention (MSCA) module after the original UNet's skip connections, emphasizing medical image features and capturing semantic insights across multiple scales. 3)The downsampling process replaces pooling layers with convolutions, and both upsampling and downsampling stages incorporate batch normalization (BN) layers to enhance model stability during training. The experimental results demonstrate that MCU-Net, with a parameter count of 2.19 million and computational complexity of 19.73 FLOPs, outperforms other segmentation models. The overall performance of MCU-Net in medical image segmentation surpasses that of other models, achieving a Dice score of 91.8% and mIoU of 84.7% on the GlaS dataset. In the current industry, quality inspection in semiconductor manufacturing is of immense significance. Significant achievements have been made in fault diagnosis in fabricated semiconductor wafer manufacturing due to the development of machine learning. Since real-time intermediate signals are non-linear and time-varying, the signals undergo various distortions due to changes in equipment, material, and process. This leads to a drastic change in information in intermediate signals. This paper presents a fault diagnosis model for semiconductor manufacturing processes using a generative adversarial network (GAN). The study aims to address the challenges associated with efficient and accurate fault identification in these complex processes. Our approach involves the extraction of relevant components, development of a paired generator model, and implementation of a deep convolutional neural network. Experimental evaluations were conducted using a comprehensive dataset and compared against six existing models. The results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed model, showcasing higher accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity across various shift tasks. This research contributes to the field by introducing a novel approach for fault diagnosis, paving the way for improved process control and product quality in semiconductor manufacturing.
