Simple Summary: In the sorting process of Chinese softshell turtles, it is necessary to classify them based on their weight and accurately identify their plastron and carapace. This process requires heavy manual labor and complex mechanical processing methods. To improve processing efficiency and reduce costs, this article introduces machine vision technology, and a new image processing method is proposed. This method can estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and accurately locate the positions of their plastron and carapace. The automation level of aquaculture can be greatly enhanced, and hardware costs can be reduced through software optimization through this approach. With the rapid development of the turtle breeding industry in China, the demand for automated turtle sorting is increasing. The automatic sorting of Chinese softshell turtles mainly consists of three parts: visual recognition, weight prediction, and individual sorting. This paper focuses on two aspects, i.e., visual recognition and weight prediction, and a novel method for the object detection and weight prediction of Chinese softshell turtles is proposed. In the individual sorting process, computer vision technology is used to estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and classify them by weight. For the visual recognition of the body parts of Chinese softshell turtles, a color space model is proposed in this paper to separate the turtles from the background effectively. By applying multiple linear regression analysis for modeling, the relationship between the weight and morphological parameters of Chinese softshell turtles is obtained, which can be used to estimate the weight of turtles well. An improved deep learning object detection network is used to extract the features of the plastron and carapace of the Chinese softshell turtles, achieving excellent detection results. Due to budget and sensor technology constraints, a single sensor cannot simultaneously provide observational images with both a high spatial and temporal resolution. To solve the above problem, the spatiotemporal fusion (STF) method was proposed and proved to be an indispensable tool for monitoring land surface dynamics. There are relatively few systematic reviews of the STF method. Bibliometrics is a valuable method for analyzing the scientific literature, but it has not yet been applied to the comprehensive analysis of the STF method. Therefore, in this paper, we use bibliometrics and scientific mapping to analyze the 2967 citation data from the Web of Science from 1991 to 2023 in a metrological manner, covering the themes of STF, data fusion, multi-temporal analysis, and spatial analysis. The results of the literature analysis reveal that the number of articles displays a slow to rapid increase during the study period, but decreases significantly in 2023. Research institutions in China (1059 papers) and the United States (432 papers) are the top two contributors in the field. The keywords "Sentinel", "deep learning" (DL), and "LSTM" (Long Short-Term Memory) appeared most frequently in the past three years. In the future, remote sensing spatiotemporal fusion research can address more of the limitations of heterogeneous landscapes and climatic conditions to improve fused images' accuracy. Background: With potential of deep learning in musculoskeletal image interpretation being explored, this paper focuses on the common site of rotator cuff tears, the supraspinatus. It aims to propose and validate a deep learning model to automatically extract the supraspinatus, verifying its superiority through comparison with several classical image segmentation models. Method: Imaging data were retrospectively collected from 60 patients who underwent inpatient treatment for rotator cuff tears at a hospital between March 2021 and May 2023. A dataset of the supraspinatus from MRI was constructed after collecting, filtering, and manually annotating at the pixel level. This paper proposes a novel A-DAsppUnet network that can automatically extract the supraspinatus after training and optimization. The analysis of model performance is based on three evaluation metrics: precision, intersection over union, and Dice coefficient. Results: The experimental results demonstrate that the precision, intersection over union, and Dice coefficients of the proposed model are 99.20%, 83.38%, and 90.94%, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed model exhibited significant advantages over the compared models. Conclusion: The designed model in this paper accurately extracts the supraspinatus from MRI, and the extraction results are complete and continuous with clear boundaries. The feasibility of using deep learning methods for musculoskeletal extraction and assisting in clinical decision-making was verified. The existing prediction methods have complex model application, high requirements for data parameters, and are limited to the prediction of a single observation point. To address this problem, this paper proposes a deep learning-based surface subsidence prediction method. Taking Hefei City of China as the research area, the time-series surface deformation results of this area are obtained by using SBAS-InSAR, and then the SFLA intelligent algorithm and Elman neural network model are combined to predict the surface deformation of key urban areas, and the prediction results are compared and analyzed.The experimental results show that the prediction model proposed in this paper can not only accurately predict a single deformation point, but also predict regional land subsidence, and can be used for auxiliary decision-making of urban spatial planning, early warning of geological hazards and hazard mitigation. Before 2008, China lacked high-coverage regional surface observation data, making it difficult for the China Meteorological Administration Land Data Assimilation System (CLDAS) to directly backtrack high-resolution, high-quality land assimilation products. To address this issue, this paper proposes a deep learning model named UNET_DCA, based on the UNET architecture, which incorporates a Dual Cross-Attention module (DCA) for multiscale feature fusion by introducing Channel Cross-Attention (CCA) and Spatial Cross-Attention (SCA) mechanisms. This model focuses on the near-surface 10-m wind field and achieves spatial downscaling from 6.25 km to 1 km. We conducted training and validation using data from 2020–2021, tested with data from 2019, and performed ablation experiments to validate the effectiveness of each module. We compared the results with traditional bilinear interpolation methods and the SNCA-CLDASSD model. The experimental results show that the UNET-based model outperforms SNCA-CLDASSD, indicating that the UNET-based model captures richer information in wind field downscaling compared to SNCA-CLDASSD, which relies on sequentially stacked CNN convolution modules. UNET_CCA and UNET_SCA, incorporating cross-attention mechanisms, outperform UNET without attention mechanisms. Furthermore, UNET_DCA, incorporating both Channel Cross-Attention and Spatial Cross-Attention mechanisms, outperforms UNET_CCA and UNET_SCA, which only incorporate one attention mechanism. UNET_DCA performs best on the RMSE, MAE, and COR metrics (0.40 m/s, 0.28 m/s, 0.93), while UNET_DCA_ars, incorporating more auxiliary information, performs best on the PSNR and SSIM metrics (29.006, 0.880). Evaluation across different methods indicates that the optimal model performs best in valleys, followed by mountains, and worst in plains; it performs worse during the day and better at night; and as wind speed levels increase, accuracy decreases. Overall, among various downscaling methods, UNET_DCA and UNET_DCA_ars effectively reconstruct the spatial details of wind fields, providing a deeper exploration for the inversion of high-resolution historical meteorological grid data. Winter wheat is a significant global food crop, and it is crucial to monitor its distribution for better agricultural management, land planning, and environmental sustainability. However, the distribution style of winter wheat planting fields is not consistent due to different terrain conditions. In mountainous areas, winter wheat planting units are smaller in size and fragmented in distribution compared to plain areas. Unfortunately, most crop-mapping research based on deep learning ignores the impact of topographic relief on crop distribution and struggles to handle hilly areas effectively. In this paper, we propose a cross-modal segmentation network for winter wheat mapping in complex terrain using remote-sensing multi-temporal images and DEM data. First, we propose a diverse receptive fusion (DRF) module, which applies a deformable receptive field to optical images during the feature fusion process, allowing it to match winter wheat plots of varying scales and a fixed receptive field to the DEM to extract evaluation features at a consistent scale. Second, we developed a distributed weight attention (DWA) module, which can enhance the feature intensity of winter wheat, thereby reducing the omission rate of planting areas, especially for the small-sized regions in hilly terrain. Furthermore, to demonstrate the performance of our model, we conducted extensive experiments and ablation studies on a large-scale dataset in Lanling county, Shandong province, China. Wheat is a major grain crop in China, accounting for one-fifth of the national grain production. Drought stress severely affects the normal growth and development of wheat, leading to total crop failure, reduced yields, and quality. To address the lag and limitations inherent in traditional drought monitoring methods, this paper proposes a multimodal deep learning-based drought stress monitoring S-DNet model for winter wheat during its critical growth periods. Drought stress images of winter wheat during the Rise-Jointing, Heading-Flowering and Flowering-Maturity stages were acquired to establish a dataset corresponding to soil moisture monitoring data. The DenseNet-121 model was selected as the base network to extract drought features. Combining the drought phenotypic characteristics of wheat in the field with meteorological factors and IoT technology, the study integrated the meteorological drought index SPEI, based on WSN sensors, and deep image learning data to build a multimodal deep learning-based S-DNet model for monitoring drought stress in winter wheat. The results show that, compared to the single-modal DenseNet-121 model, the multimodal S-DNet model has higher robustness and generalization capability, with an average drought recognition accuracy reaching 96.4%. Research on wildlife monitoring methods is a crucial tool for the conservation of rare wildlife in China. However, the fact that rare wildlife monitoring images in field scenes are easily affected by complex scene information, poorly illuminated, obscured, and blurred limits their use. This often results in unstable recognition and low accuracy levels. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel wildlife identification model for rare animals in Giant Panda National Park (GPNP). We redesigned the C3 module of YOLOv5 using NAMAttention and the MemoryEfficientMish activation function to decrease the weight of field scene features. Additionally, we integrated the WIoU boundary loss function to mitigate the influence of low-quality images during training, resulting in the development of the NMW-YOLOv5 model. Our model achieved 97.3% for mAP50 and 83.3% for mAP50:95 in the LoTE-Animal dataset. When comparing the model with some classical YOLO models for the purpose of conducting comparison experiments, it surpasses the current best-performing model by 1.6% for mAP50:95, showcasing a high level of recognition accuracy. In the generalization ability test, the model has a low error rate for most rare wildlife species and is generally able to identify wildlife in the wild environment of the GPNP with greater accuracy. It has been demonstrated that NMW-YOLOv5 significantly enhances wildlife recognition accuracy in field environments by eliminating irrelevant features and extracting deep, effective features. Furthermore, it exhibits strong detection and recognition capabilities for rare wildlife in GPNP field environments. This could offer a new and effective tool for rare wildlife monitoring in GPNP. Online teacher professional development is a branch of online learning, which offers educators opportunities to refine their pedagogical skills and collaboratively construct knowledge within professional learning communities. During these interactions, teachers often engage in knowledge construction while exhibiting diverse role characteristics. Investigating these role characteristics and knowledge construction patterns can enhance the comprehension of the interaction process and contribute to online teacher professional development design, addressing challenges such as weak activity and low collaboration. This study examined the key roles that actively interact or contribute to the online community in online teacher professional development, analysing interactive participation characteristics and knowledge construction behaviour patterns. Data were collected from an online teacher professional development activity in China. Statistical, content and lag sequence analysis methods were employed. Results showed that the three key roles had weak interaction persistence and different content quality in interactive participation characteristics. Knowledge construction behaviours of key roles were generally at a high level, with different patterns observed. Finally, the study proposed practical implications based on key roles' interactive participation characteristics and knowledge construction behaviour patterns. Simple Summary: In response to the quantitative demand for the practical deployment of applications and the need to enhance the detection accuracy of wildlife in complex field environments in southwest China and neighboring regions, we have refined the wildlife detection algorithm based on re-parameterized convolution. This refinement is specifically targeted at addressing the challenges posed by the low quality of wildlife images captured by camera traps and the limitations of traditional object detection algorithms in feature extraction capability. To address these issues, we have introduced a series of improvement schemes. As a result of these enhancements, there has been a noteworthy improvement in both the accuracy of wildlife detection and the speed of model inference. This advancement offers a convenient and efficient method for the preliminary detection in the context of automated wildlife monitoring. To autonomously detect wildlife images captured by camera traps on a platform with limited resources and address challenges such as filtering out photos without optimal objects, as well as classifying and localizing species in photos with objects, we introduce a specialized wildlife object detector tailored for camera traps. This detector is developed using a dataset acquired by the Saola Working Group (SWG) through camera traps deployed in Vietnam and Laos. Utilizing the YOLOv6-N object detection algorithm as its foundation, the detector is enhanced by a tailored optimizer for improved model performance. We deliberately introduce asymmetric convolutional branches to enhance the feature characterization capability of the Backbone network. Additionally, we streamline the Neck and use CIoU loss to improve detection performance. For quantitative deployment, we refine the RepOptimizer to train a pure VGG-style network. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method empowers the model to achieve an 88.3% detection accuracy on the wildlife dataset in this paper. This accuracy is 3.1% higher than YOLOv6-N, and surpasses YOLOv7-T and YOLOv8-N by 5.5% and 2.8%, respectively. The model consistently maintains its detection performance even after quantization to the INT8 precision, achieving an inference speed of only 6.15 ms for a single image on the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX device. The improvements we introduce excel in tasks related to wildlife image recognition and object localization captured by camera traps, providing practical solutions to enhance wildlife monitoring and facilitate efficient data acquisition. Pine wilt disease (PWD), caused by pine wood nematodes, has brought a great loss in ecology and economy all over the world. In China, the forest health status is also significantly affected by PWD since 1980, especially in coniferous forests and mixed forest regions. The PWD spreads very fast and can cause a healthy pine wood tree to die within a very short time. An effective way to protect other healthy pine wood trees is to discover PWD trees early. Using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) images can help people discover the PWD tree quickly and accurately, and a few automatical methods have been developed to monitor PWD trees including the deep learning methods. Because of the robust spatial-temporal transferability, deep learning methods have become the mainstream algorithms to monitor PWD trees. As we know, the training dataset is the most important material to train a deep learning model. However, there is still a lack of a PWD segmentation dataset so far. To fill this gap, in this paper, we have generated the first open-sourced PWD segmentation dataset based on very high-resolution UAV images to help the community conduct PWD monitor research conveniently. This dataset has 994 training samples, and each sample has visible bands with 512 × 512 pixels, and the spatial resolution of this dataset is 0.05 m. In order to train an advanced segmentation model, we have designed a lightweight deep-learning model for mobile devices or edge devices in this manuscript, named MobileSeg. The main feature of MobileSeg is its decoupling, which uses the re-parameterization technology to improve the model performance. Finally, a large-scale real-world scenario experiment with very high-resolution UAV images was utilized to validate the performance of MobileSeg, the experiment result indicated that MobileSeg has achieved the best performance compared with the recent lightweight segmentation models, and the experiment also proved the effectiveness of the proposed PWD dataset. It is of great significance to accurately grasp ground-level ozone concentration on a wide scale in order to cope with the increasingly serious ground-level ozone pollution problem. Currently, satellite technology can be used to monitor ground-level ozone concentration on a wide scale, but there is the problem of insufficient spatial resolution. The use of ground monitoring stations to detect ground-level ozone concentration can obtain more accurate ozone concentration around the station, but there are problems of limited number of stations and sparse distribution. Therefore, it is still a challenge to accurately grasp the ground-level ozone concentration at a large scale and high spatial resolution. To address this issue, this paper proposes a ground-level ozone concentration inversion algorithm based on deep learning methods, incorporating data from remote sensing satellites, ground monitoring stations, meteorological conditions, geography, and land use. Taking Yunnan Province in China as the experimental region and utilizing five-fold cross-validation, the model's Mean Square Error (MSE) reached 340.45 and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) reached 18.45. Compared to machine learning models, the error decreased by 14.53%, outperforming Random Forest models, Convolution Neural Networks, and Vision Transformers. Government censorship—internet shutdowns, blockages, firewalls—impose significant barriers to the transnational flow of information despite the connective power of digital technologies. In this paper, we examine whether and how information flows across borders despite government censorship. We develop a semi-automated system that combines deep learning and human annotation to find co-occurring content across different social media platforms and languages. We use this system to detect co-occurring content between Twitter and Sina Weibo as Covid-19 spread globally, and we conduct in-depth investigations of co-occurring content to identify those that constitute an inflow of information from the global information ecosystem into China. We find that approximately one-fourth of content with relevance for China that gains widespread public attention on Twitter makes its way to Weibo. Unsurprisingly, Chinese state-controlled media and commercialized domestic media play a dominant role in facilitating these inflows of information. However, we find that Weibo users without traditional media or government affiliations are also an important mechanism for transmitting information into China. These results imply that while censorship combined with media control provide substantial leeway for the government to set the agenda, social media provides opportunities for non-institutional actors to influence the information environment. The accurate estimation of forest aboveground biomass is of great significance for forest management and carbon balance monitoring. Remote sensing instruments have been widely applied in forest parameters inversion with wide coverage and high spatiotemporal resolution. In this paper, the capability of different remote-sensed imagery was investigated, including multispectral images (GaoFen-6, Sentinel-2 and Landsat-8) and various SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data (GaoFen-3, Sentinel-1, ALOS-2), in aboveground forest biomass estimation. In particular, based on the forest inventory data of Hangzhou in China, the Random Forest (RF), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Convolutional Neural Networks Long Short-Term Memory Networks (CNN-LSTM) algorithms were deployed to construct the forest biomass estimation models, respectively. The estimate accuracies were evaluated under the different configurations of images and methods. The results show that for the SAR data, ALOS-2 has a higher biomass estimation accuracy than the GaoFen-3 and Sentinel-1. Moreover, the GaoFen-6 data is slightly worse than Sentinel-2 and Landsat-8 optical data in biomass estimation. In contrast with the single source, integrating multisource data can effectively enhance accuracy, with improvements ranging from 5% to 10%. The CNN-LSTM generally performs better than CNN and RF, regardless of the data used. The combination of CNN-LSTM and multisource data provided the best results in this case and can achieve the maximum R2 value of up to 0.74. It was found that the majority of the biomass values in the study area in 2018 ranged from 60 to 90 Mg/ha, with an average value of 64.20 Mg/ha. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Writing is a fundamental skill linked closely with academic achievement, day‐to‐day communication, formal negotiations, and more. However, due to their lack of contextual experience, learning to write has been a demanding and complex cognitive process for most learners. As a result, learners struggle to exhibit positive learning behaviours and cognitive engagement in writing, let alone embrace deep and autonomous learning. To solve these problems, in the present study, a spherical video‐based virtual reality (SVVR) learning environment is developed to provide students with a contextual learning experience. Moreover, a peer feedback strategy is used to guide students in deep learning in writing. A quasi‐experimental study was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. A total of 79 students from one primary school in southeast China were recruited. The students were assigned to either the experimental group (EG) exposed to the peer‐feedback‐based SVVR (PF‐SVVR) approach or the control group (CG) exposed to the conventional SVVR (C‐SVVR) approach. The results show that PF‐SVVR had more positive effects than C‐SVVR in terms of students' writing performance, cognitive engagement and autonomous learning tendency. In addition, the PF‐SVVR approach was found to be more beneficial for triggering deep learning in writing than the C‐SVVR approach. This study further found that students in the PF‐SVVR group tended to exhibit less disorderly behaviours than those in the C‐SVVR group. This study proposes a novel method, which is a U‐shaped convolutional neural network that combines non‐local attention mechanisms, Res2net residual modules, and terrain information (UNR‐Net). The original U‐Net method and the linear regression (LR) method are conducted as benchmarks. Generally, the UNR‐Net has demonstrated promise in performing a 10× downscaling for daily 2‐m temperature over North China with lead times of 1–7 days and shows superiority to the U‐Net and LR methods. To be specific, U‐Net and UNR‐Net demonstrate higher Nash‐Sutcliffe Efficiency coefficient values compared to LR by 0.052 and 0.077, respectively. The corresponding improvements in pattern correlation coefficient are 0.013 and 0.016, while the root mean square error values are higher by 0.22 and 0.338, respectively. Additionally, the structural similarity index metric is higher by 0.033 and lower by 0.015. Furthermore, regions with significant errors are primarily distributed in complex terrain areas such as the Taihang Mountains, where UNR‐Net exhibits noticeable improvements. In addition, the 12 components‐based error decomposition method is proposed to analyze the error source of different models. Generally, the smallest errors are observed during the summer season and the sequence error component is proven to be the main source error of 2‐m temperature forecasts. Furthermore, UNR‐Net consistently demonstrates the lowest errors among all 12 error components. Therefore, combining the numerical weather prediction model and deep learning method is very promising in downscaling temperature forecasts and can be applied to routine forecasting of other atmospheric variables in the future. The method uses a specific type of neural network called UNR‐Net, which combines attention mechanisms, residual modules, and terrain information. Based on these findings, combining numerical weather prediction models with deep learning methods holds great promise for generating high‐resolution temperature forecasts. In China, tea products made from fresh leaves characterized by one leaf with one bud (1L1B) are classified as "Famous Tea", which has better taste and higher economic value, but suffers from a labor shortage. Aiming at picking automation, existing studies focus on visual detection of 1L1B, but algorithm validation is limited to a specific variety of tea sprouting in a certain harvest season at a certain location, which limits the engineering application of developed tea picking robots working in various natural tea fields. To address this gap, a deep learning model DMT (detecting multispecies of tea) based on YOLOX-S was proposed in this paper. The DMT network takes YOLOX-S as a baseline and adds ECA-Net to the CSP Darknet and FPN of YOLOX-S. The average precision (AP), precision, and recall of DMT are 94.23%, 93.39%, and 88.02%, respectively, for detecting 1L1B sprouting in spring; 93.92%, 93.56%, and 87.88%, respectively, for detecting 1L1Bsprouting in autumn. These experimental results are better than those of the five current object detection models. After fine-tuning the DMT network with another dataset composed of multiple tea varieties, the DMT network can detect 1L1B for different varieties of tea in multiple picking seasons. In many buildings with wooden structures, the service life and comfort of the floor will be affected by the walking load of the human body. The vibration effect generated by the human walking on the floor will affect the comfort that the floor brings to people. This article primarily focuses on the study of the correlation between floor vibration and human walking load in wooden buildings. It provides an analysis and summary of research findings from both domestic and international sources. Furthermore, the data collected is utilized to establish a model for estimating human walking load. The advent of information technology has witnessed significant transformative changes spurred by shifts in societal needs. Notably, the establishment of wireless sensor networks stands as a significant milestone within the field of information technology, highlighting advancements in science and technology. The evolution of wireless sensor networks has proven instrumental in various sectors within China, including but not limited to the military, environmental monitoring, biological research and medical systems, disaster monitoring, and energy allocation. This paper uses deep learning algorithms to analyze the node deployment problems of wireless sensor networks, summarizes a reasonable node deployment plan through specific research and practice, and uses collaborative deep learning methods to improve the operating efficiency of the network. In addition, this article also tested the vibration effect of wood structure buildings, analyzed different influencing factors, and provided a good reference point for the formulation of wood structure comfort standards. Due to the periodic changes of climate, cracks are widely developed in expansive soils, leading to the destruction of soil integrity, the deterioration of physical strength, and eventually the instability of the expansive soil slope and other disasters. In this paper, a deep learning-based modeling method was proposed for soil crack networks characterization through steps of segmentation, quantification and simulation. Inspired by the U-Net convolutional neural network, a dilated convolution module was added to the backbone to enhance the crack segmentation capability and a subpixel edge detection algorithm was followed for accurate crack edge detection. Then, a deterministic or stochastic method was designed for crack network simulation. A case study of an expansive soil slope on the bank of Wadong Main Canal in the Pi-Shi-Hang Irrigation District, China, was conducted. Results show that the dilated U-Net model gained 0.24 and 0.25 improvement in F1-score and IoU (Intersection over Union) comparing to the conventional segmentation method (Otsu) and crack edge precision was further improved by 5.38%. The performances of proposed method including the image labeling, effect of crack thickness and environmental conditions, etc., are also explored. To validate the simulated crack network, crack areas at different depths were measured through X-ray images. Comparing with the simulation result, mean error rate of 1.05% was achieved. Machine learning models have been widely used in landslide susceptibility prediction. However, landslide multidimensional feature extraction, model generalization ability, and prediction quantification of deep learning are still challenging. This paper proposes a new approach, the landslide density-based bidirectional long short-term memory (LD-BiLSTM) model with multichannel input and an optimized sampling strategy to predict and map landslide susceptibility in active seismic mountainous areas of Sichuan Province, China. First, to ensure the generalization ability of the LD-BiLSTM model, other regions in Sichuan were selected as the model training area independent of the prediction area (Luding County). Multichannel landslide datasets were constructed to extract high-dimensional geospatial features of landslides. Subsequently, the landslide density of each grid cell was utilized as the label for the corresponding input sample. The LD-BiLSTM model was improved by using transfer learning and sampling optimization strategies, which makes our method attenuate the impact of historical landslide inventory deviation on the spatial susceptibility mode compared with the existing DL model, which usually uses landslide objects (LO) as input sample labels. Model performance evaluation results show that the LD-BiLSTM model (precision = 0.903, recall = 0.899, F1-score = 0.901, Area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) = 0.940) outperformed the LO-BiLSTM model (precision = 0.812, recall = 0.815. F1-score = 0.813, AUC = 0.910) in the case areas. Meanwhile, the performance of the LD-BiLSTM model (AUC = 0.9407) significantly outperformed both the information value (IV) (AUC = 0.7207) model and the random forest (RF) (AUC = 0.8116) models in the landslide prediction area (Luding), which confirms that the proposed LD-based method is superior to traditional LO-based methods. Groundwater level (GWL) prediction is important for ecological protection and resource utilization; it helps in formulating policies for artificial groundwater recharge, modifying the number of extraction wells, etc., and can support sustainable human development as well as inform water resource management decisions. However, climate change, anthropogenic impacts, and the complex coupling between surface water and groundwater increase the difficulty of predicting groundwater levels. The model proposed in this paper combines external data as well as multiple models. The method leverages long and short-term memory (LSTM) and convolutional neural network (CNN) models, combined with secondary modal decomposition and slime mould algorithm (SMA), together with an adaptive weight module (AWM). The study applies this method to predict GWL for three different hydrological conditions in China, specifically for the Jinan Baotu Spring, Heihu Spring, and Zhongtianshe watershed of Taihu Lake. A comparison of metrics such as mean absolute error and Nash efficiency coefficient for single and hybrid models shows that the model in this paper is more advantageous than the single model and other hybrid models. The interpretability of the model is enhanced by SHAP values that demonstrate the degree of contribution of the input variables. This paper uses SHAP analyses to identify the key drivers affecting groundwater levels. These factors must be detected in order to develop groundwater resource protection measures. In this paper, we propose a new deformable convolutional network with attention mechanism to deal with the Chinese character of various dynasties. These ancient Chinese characters are hieroglyph with special spatial structure and gradually evolving into modern Chinese characters. However, because of the intrinsic limitations of traditional convolutional networks in the model, the geometric structure of the convolutional module is fixed. Therefore, we build a new architecture called attention-based deformable networks for this task. Besides, we construct a new dataset called the Chinese characters from Various Dynasties Dataset (CCDD), which includes the evolution of Chinese characters between major dynasties. Deformable convolution based on attention mechanism can obtain those more important offsets, resulting in better performance than the original deformable convolution. In the experimental stage, extensive experiments validate the performance of our approach. Firstly, the effectiveness of this network was verified on two text datasets, Mnist(99.38%) and notMnist(98.22%) both comparing with several modules. Finally, the best performance was achieved on the CCDD dataset(91.50%) compared to other classical deep learning networks. This is the first paper to apply deep learning methods to recognize and classify the characters of major dynasties in China. And archaeological workers need to be able to recognize Chinese characters from various periods in China, and our algorithm can assist them in completing this task to a certain extent. The Aerial Building Machine (ABM) is a complex construction equipment used in high-rise building construction, facing challenges due to environmental uncertainties. This paper introduces a multi-condition generative design framework to improve ABM's visualization, operability, and intelligence. It seamlessly integrates real-time data between geometric and physical models and employs an ensemble deep learning model for objective value prediction, using a snapshot strategy. Combining structural reliability concepts with Latin hypercube sampling-based stochastic optimization, an optimal design scheme is obtained for uncertain loads. An ABM case study in China illustrates the approach's feasibility, showing it meets reliability requirements across different conditions and achieves significant improvements (16.59% under normal conditions and 16.91% under extreme wind conditions). Additionally, ensemble deep learning outperforms existing methods for ABM structural reliability estimation. China's coastal region is the major geographical unit for the future development of China's industrial sector. The transformation of basic structure to high-class development in China's coastal places is a significant tool for promoting the changes related to quality, power and efficiency in regional economic development. In the 21st century, environmental and energy issues have increased worldwide, and challenges related to environmental pollution, energy crises, and ecological imbalances have emerged. To climate change and energy utilization, the sustainable progress of clean energy is the new route of future energy development. Based on China's non-polluting energy growth process in the last ten years, this article explores China's clean/green energy policies and economic growth development plans. Clean energy utilization is crucial for sustainable development in the context of high-quality economic growth and climate change. However, the monetary evolution and carbon emission are not investigated whole from the clean energy aspects. Using Wind energy sources as the acceptable variable, this paper employs threshold regression and impulse functions to assess the energy consumption and economic growth on carbon emission in 30 Chinese provinces over the 2000 to 2020 period. The Deep Belief Network (DBN) model predicts wind energy utilization and efficiency. The results show that economic development and carbon emissions are connected. Further, growth influences promote the offset of carbon emissions. Green innovation alters the nexus of carbon emissions, and China's economy reduces carbon usage. The purpose of video process detection is to identify key processes of interest and associated semantic categories, which is an important computer vision task for localizing key processes in space science experiments. To detect experimental processes in space electrostatic suspension material experiment on China's Space Station, we propose a Slow-and-Fast Dual-Stream Network. It extracts multi-scale temporal semantic information by designing a Slow-and-Fast Temporal Stream structure and effectively detects the experimental processes with various temporal scales. In addition, the Two Path Temporal Pyramid Network (TP2N) enhances the bi-direction flow among multi-scale features on the temporal dimension to alleviate boundary sensitivity. The validation experiments on our established dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method with 62.43% mAP, outperforming the related state-of-the-art temporal action localization methods with nearly 7% mAP gain. Accurate photovoltaic (PV) power forecast is crucial for carbon neutrality. Current researches on PV power forecast mainly focus on using temporal information from single PV station, and the spatial information in multiple PV power stations are often neglected. To address this problem, this paper introduces Moran index to verify the spatial autocorrelation of PV power for the first time, uses Granger causality test and transfer entropy to reveal the spatial information gain in PV power forecast for the first time, and proposes a novel spatial–temporal probabilistic PV forecast method using deep Graph Gated Recurrent Unit (GraphGRU) network-based spatial–temporal multi-task learning and Kernel Density Estimation (KDE). Deep GraphGRU combines the advantages of Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) in spatial feature extraction and the advantages of Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) network in temporal feature extraction, and thus has strong ability to extract spatial–temporal information in historical data of multiple different PV power stations. Through GraphGRU, temporal dependency information extracted from historical data of multiple PV stations can promote each other to improve the forecast accuracy of each PV stations. KDE is used for estimating the joint probabilistic density function and giving the spatial–temporal probabilistic confidence interval of PV power. Experiments were performed in the five-year actual PV power data from 11 provinces of Belgium and the three-year solar irradiation data from 12 places in China to verify the superiorities of the proposed method. Comparison with conventional spatial–temporal and temporal forecast methods show that the proposed GraphGRU-based spatial–temporal forecast method can extract the spatial–temporal information from multiple PV power stations well and significantly outperform conventional temporal forecast methods. Accurately predicting carbon trading prices using deep learning models can help enterprises understand the operational mechanisms and regulations of the carbon market. This is crucial for expanding the industries covered by the carbon market and ensuring its stable and healthy development. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the predictions in practical applications, it is important to evaluate the model's robustness. In this paper, we built models with different parameters to predict carbon trading prices, and proposed models with high accuracy and robustness. The accuracy of the models was assessed using traditional survey indicators. The robustness of the CNN-LSTM model was compared to that of the LSTM model using Z-scores. The CNN-LSTM model with the best prediction performance was compared to a single LSTM model, resulting in a 9% reduction in MSE and a 0.0133 shortening of the Z-score range. Furthermore, the CNN-LSTM model achieved a level of accuracy comparable to other popular models such as CEEMDAN, Boosting, and GRU. It also demonstrated a training speed improvement of at least 40% compared to the aforementioned methods. These results suggest that the CNN-LSTM enhances model resilience. Various satellite sensors have provided a huge amount of observations of Earth's environment at variable spatial and temporal resolutions. Many global coarse-resolution land products have been generated from single-satellite data, but global temporally regular land products at fine spatial resolutions (say 10-30 m) are scarce because of infrequent observations. An ideal inversion framework can estimate multiple global continuous land variables at different spatial resolutions by combining all sources of satellite data. This paper proposes a new framework that can estimate five land variables simultaneously from the top-of-atmosphere (TOA) reflectance acquired by seven satellite sensors based on a multi-scale and multi-depth convolutional neural network (MSDCNN). This framework enables us to estimate temporally regular land variables at as fine as 10 m spatial resolution by transforming information from satellite data at coarser spatial resolutions. The estimated land variables include Leaf Area Index (LAI), Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR), shortwave albedo, visible albedo, and spectral reflectance. Seven sensors that acquire data at different spatial resolutions, include Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) (750 m), Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) (500 m), Fengyun-3 (FY-3) Medium Resolution Spectral Imager (MERSI) (250 m), China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite 04 (CBERS-04) Wide Field Imager (WFI) (73 m), Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) (30 m), Gaofen-1 (GF-1) Wide-Field-of-View (16 m) and Sentinel 2 A/B Multispectral Imager (MSI) (10 m). This framework is mainly composed of four steps. First, a Shuffled Complex Evolution (SCE) optimization method is adopted to estimate these variables from VIIRS TOA reference. Second, a joint-output random forest regression (RF) method is used to link the satellite observations and the estimated values from step 1. Third, the six-type multi-resolution satellite observations are used to downscale the VIIRS TOA reflectance to six different spatial resolutions by using the MSDCNN. Finally, the downscaled six-resolution VIIRS TOA reflectance is fed into the multiple-variable RF model to estimate land variables. The framework was validated, and the results based on high-resolution reference maps from ImagineS network and time series shortwave albedo field values from Surface Radiation (SURFRAD) and Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) network show that the retrieved variables had high validation accuracy, with root mean square error (RMSE) ranges of 0.361–0.489 (LAI), 0.023–0.120 (FAPAR), 0.013–0.026 (snow-free shortwave albedo), respectively. Comparison results of the retrieved multi-scale variables with the Sentinel 2 A/B (10 m), Landsat 8 (30 m), Global LAnd Surface Satellite (GLASS, 250 m, 500 m), MODIS (500 m), and VIIRS (750 m) products show that their values were close, with RMSE ranges of 0.107–0.273 (LAI), 0.015–0.027 (FAPAR), 0.003–0.007 (shortwave albedo), 0.001–0.007 (visible albedo), and 0.003–0.025 (spectral reflectance), respectively.
