This article presents information on efforts undertaken by lawyers in the United States to get Mohammed Munaf, an American citizen who has been sentenced to death by an Iraqi court, come out of Iraq. Munaf was an accused of having involved in a conspiracy hatched to kidnap three Romanian journalists in Iraq. Munaf's Attorneys filed papers in a federal court in Washington in an attempt to prevent his transfer to the Iraqi government.
