Teachers in traditional English education devote a great deal of time and effort to developing excellent English teaching courseware and other teaching materials. However, because the network's powerful sharing capability was not fully utilized, poor resource sharing hampered the school's overall teaching efficiency. The goal of this paper is to investigate how to use a ubiquitous learning resource sharing platform and a neural network to analyze the method of English major education resource sharing. Because the BP neural network algorithm has better classification and prediction functions, it was proposed because it can classify and predict information in the sharing of teaching resources for English majors. This allows for seamless sharing of teaching materials. According to the findings of this study, there were 562.13 million people learning English in China in 2015, accounting for 37% of the population. By 2018, 945.61 million people were learning English, accounting for 85 percent of the population. Almost every student is learning English, demonstrating the language's importance. Deep neural network is a complex network method to analyze the structure of the human brain, which plays a core role in the field of sports planning and performance prediction and can know the future performance of athletes or students in advance in sports competitions. This paper establishes the autoregressive summation model prediction model, the complex neural network prediction model, and the improved complex neural network prediction model. It is concluded that only the improved BP neural network model has a remarkable effect on performance prediction, and the prediction value obtained by this prediction model can reduce the systematic error of prediction, so that it can better infer the performance prediction of sports competitions in China and plan which sports events are suitable for which prediction model. There are many thyroid diseases affecting people all over the world. Many diseases affect the thyroid gland, like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid cancer. Thyroid inefficiency can cause severe symptoms in patients. Effective classification and machine learning play a significant role in the timely detection of thyroid diseases. This timely classification will indeed affect the timely treatment of the patients. Automatic and precise thyroid nodule detection in ultrasound pictures is critical for reducing effort and radiologists' mistake rate. Medical images have evolved into one of the most valuable and consistent data sources for machine learning generation. In this paper, various machine learning algorithms like decision tree, random forest algorithm, KNN, and artificial neural networks on the dataset create a comparative analysis to better predict the disease based on parameters established from the dataset. Also, the dataset has been manipulated for accurate prediction for the classification. The classification was performed on both the sampled and unsampled datasets for better comparison of the dataset. The relationship between financial development and economic growth has become a hot topic in recent years and for China, which is undergoing financial liberalisation and policy reform, the efficiency of the use of digital finance and the deepening of the balance between quality and quantity in financial development are particularly important for economic growth. This paper investigates the utility of digital finance and financial development on total factor productivity in China using interprovincial panel data decomposing financial development into financial scale and financial efficiency; an interprovincial panel data model is used to explore the utility of digital finance on total factor productivity. This involves the collection and preprocessing of financial data, including feature engineering, and the development of an optimised predictive model. We preprocess the original dataset to remove anomalous information and improve data quality. This work uses feature engineering to select relevant features for fitting and training the model. In this process, the random forest algorithm is used to effectively avoid overfitting problems and to facilitate the dimensionality reduction of the relevant features. In determining the model to be used, the random forest regression model was chosen for training. The empirical results show that digital finance has contributed to productivity growth but is not efficiently utilised; China should give high priority to improving financial efficiency while promoting financial expansion; rapid expansion of finance without a focus on financial efficiency will not be conducive to productivity growth. At present, the number of enterprises in financial crisis in China is rising sharply, and the ability of enterprises to resist risks is generally weak. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a corporate financial crisis early warning system, to detect the signs of corporate financial crisis before it arrives and to inform managers in advance, so that effective measures can be taken as soon as possible to eliminate hidden dangers. This paper selects the two-year data of 40 companies from 2017 to 2019 as training samples and the data of 20 companies as prediction samples. After testing, 12 index variables that can reflect the financial problems of energy companies are finally selected as the basis for modeling. Then, we use Logistic and BP neural network modeling, respectively, to study and compare the data from 2017 to 2019 to predict the financial risk in the following year. The results show that the BP neural network model in the two models is better than the Logistic model in terms of fitting degree or prediction accuracy for enterprise financial early warning. With the downward pressure of China's economy and the impact of the epidemic, the accumulated market risk has increased the liquidity pressure of the banking industry, and the mismatch between deposit maturity and loan maturity is the main cause for the increase of liquidity risk. The twenty-first century is the era of rapid and in-depth development of data management technology. The explosive growth of massive financial data makes the information data related to the liquidity risk of commercial banks present the characteristics of complexity, diversity, and heterogeneity. The traditional risk early warning model cannot deal with the influence between a large number of influencing factors and the nonlinear factors of commercial bank liquidity risk. Based on this transformation, the circular neural network model is introduced into the field of liquidity risk early warning of commercial banks from the perspective of the mismatch risk of financing maturity of commercial banks, and the driving factors and risk warning signs of liquidity risk of commercial banks are further analyzed from the institutional level, policy level, industry level, and micro commercial bank level. This paper uses network crawler technology, text analysis, and grounded analysis technology to intelligently identify the liquidity risk of commercial banks and establishes an early warning index system based on the influencing factors of commercial banks and internal liquidity risk. Also, it constructs an intelligent early warning model of commercial bank liquidity risk based on deep learning and uses the data of commercial banks from 2000 to 2020 for early warning. The results show that the constructed model has high accuracy, which can provide support for banks and relevant government departments to formulate and resolve bank liquidity risk. With the intensification of global market competition and the continuous development of the information technology, competition in the apparel market has become increasingly fierce. The key to whether China's garment industry can maintain its advantage in the international market competition in the future lies in whether it can promote and realize the informatization of the garment industry or not. After all, under the context of increasingly developed information technologies and growing competition in the garment market, mass customization of garments has become a future trend in the garment industry. As custom-made clothing is more in line with consumers' individual needs in terms of style, fabric, and size, the focus of development for clothing companies is increasingly on the grasp of the fit of clothing. However, with China's large population and the wide variety of body types, traditional hand-made garments are time-consuming and cannot meet the differentiated needs of consumers in the modern market. The design of garment samples is an important part of the industrial production of garments and is highly dependent on the skills and experience of the operators. In other words, the level of technical expertise can determine the quality and shape of a garment product to a certain extent. As a result, in order to further improve the efficiency and quality of garment sample design and to reduce the dependence on operator skills and experience, this study proposes an intelligent garment paper sample design system based on BP neural networks. The system mainly utilizes the self-learning, self-organizing, and adaptive as well as nonlinear mapping functions of artificial neural networks to design clothing samples autonomously, thus improving the design efficiency. The global economy appears the trend of anti-globalization under the influence of COVID-19. Based on the input-output table of lead database from 2006 to 2020, this paper divides the factors that affect the development of financial industry in China, the United States and Russia into six aspects: price, intermediate input, household consumption, government consumption, export and import. ADGA-BP neural network model is proposed in this paper, which is based on six aspects of price, intermediate input, consumer, government consumption, export and import. The intermediate input is decomposed from the perspective of industrial structure to study the interrelationship between financial industry and other industries in the three countries. The results show that the intermediate input is the main factor in the development of financial industry in the three countries, but the source industries of the intermediate input are not the same; the two factors of household consumption and price are closely related to the development of financial industry in the three countries, and they all play a role in promoting China, while the relationship between household consumption and the United States and between price and Russia is reverse; Government consumption only has a significant impact on Russia; from the perspective of mutual influence, the mutual investment between the financial industry of China and the United States is relatively large, while the relationship between the Russian financial industry and the two countries is relatively weak. This paper compared the expected accuracy of the gray GM (1, 1) model and the combined GMBP model using a data set for major road traffic accidents. A combined GMBP prediction model composed of the very first parameter gray model GM (1, 1) is able to make exact predictions for forecasting dreary type of processes, and BP (back-propagation) neural network for a major traffic accident is proposed to overcome the limitations of a single prediction model for a major traffic accident. The method first obtains predicted data using the gray GM (1, 1) model, then trains the BP neural network using the GM (1, 1) model's predicted data and the original data as input and output data, respectively, and finally the trained BP neural network can be considered a combined GMBP prediction model. The predicted data of the digit of major traffic accidents, the digit of fatalities, and the digit of damages from 2008 to 2020 were obtained using the combined GMBP prediction model, and it is compared with the expected data of the single gray GM (1, 1) model. The grades showed that the exactitude of the combined GMBP prediction model was significantly higher than that of the single gray GM (1, 1) model. Finally, from 2021 to 2033, the combined GMBP prediction model is used to forecast the number of significant road traffic incidents, mortalities, and damages. Extraterrestrial solar radiation (ESR) is the essential basic background for solar radiation, which determines the occurrence of the weather and atmospheric phenomena. Since the influence of ESR variation on actual rugged terrain is a diverse, complex, and dynamic process, simulating ESR over a large spatial-temporal span, especially with a high-resolution digital elevation model (DEM), is a significant challenge. In this paper, we developed a new scheme for simulating ESR over the entirety of China using a DEM with a resolution of 30 m. To fully consider regional terrain status, the feature variables used were elevation, slope, and aspects of the located grid and the surrounding four grids to reveal the topography. In addition, latitude was used as a feature variable to consider the geographical location, and the month number was used to consider the duration. On the basis of different geographical locations, the training dataset was established from 20,000 grids. With the feature variable composition and training dataset, a backpropagation artificial neural network (BP ANN) was found to have the best performance compared with the other three machine learning methods in simulating ESR for a DEM. In terms of the proposed scheme and BP ANN, we drew an ESR map of China with a resolution of 30 m. The determination coefficient of the simulation result achieved 0.99 and the root-mean-square error was less than 50 MJ/m2 in all sample areas, confirming its remarkable accuracy. In terms of efficiency, the time consumption of ESR simulated using the proposed scheme shrinks over 150 times in all sample areas compared to that simulated via the theoretical model. Simultaneously, the developed scheme was also used to simulate an ESR for a DEM with a resolution of 90 m to verify the universality and robustness of the developed scheme. In addition, we used the proposed scheme to derive the direct solar radiation and global solar radiation, thereby further proving the reliability and applicability of our study. Overall, our work convincingly proved that the proposed scheme is a potential and effective approach for quickly simulating ESR with high accuracy. This study provides the basis for different solar radiation inversions of long time series and large spatial scales, offering additional insights for simulating ESR on a large spatial-temporal span. Fault section diagnosis (FSD) is significant for the power system dispatching. Artificial neural network (ANN)‐based FSD method has strong fault tolerance but it looks like a black box and lacks the interpretability to the diagnosis outputs. In addition, when the topology of power systems changes, the ANN structure needs to be reconstructed and retrained, and thus has low adaptive capability. In order to tackle these challenges, in this paper, an ANN‐based FSD method by constructing universal transparent diagnosis models is proposed. The diagnosis models are constructed for the transmission line, transformer, and bus types rather than for a specific power system section. They can express the logical relations among sections, protective relays (PRs) and circuit breakers (CBs) clearly and intuitively. In addition, fuzzy values are used to model the uncertainties of PRs and CBs, and to determine the inputs of diagnosis models. Furthermore, the differential evolution algorithm is employed to optimize the network parameters of diagnosis models. Different from traditional algorithms and model, machine learning is a systematic and comprehensive application of computer algorithms and statistical models, and it has been widely used in many fields. In the field of finance, machine learning is mainly used to study the future trend of capital market price. In this paper, to predict the time-series data of stock, we applied the traditional models and machine learning models for forecasting the linear and non-linear problem, respectively. First, stock samples that occurred from year 2010 to 2019 at the New York Stock Exchange are collected. Next, the ARIMA (autoregressive integrated moving average model) model and LSTM (long short-term memory) neural network model are applied to train and predict stock price and stock price subcorrelation. Finally, we evaluate the proposed model by several indicators, and the experiment results show that: (1) Stock price and stock price correlation are accurately predicted by the ARIMA model and LSTM model; (2) compared with ARIMA, the LSTM model performance better in prediction; and (3) the ensemble model of ARIMA-LSTM significantly outperforms other benchmark methods. As a result of the fast rise of globalization, people in China are learning English at a rapid pace. However, there is a severe shortage of English teachers in the region, which is a major hindrance. To address these concerns, a deep learning-based algorithm is proposed that can not only check English pronunciation but also help learners distinguish between phonemic and quality phonemic while listening and differentiating, as well as correct phonemic errors, thereby increasing their language learning capacity. In order to study the application of nonlinear network identification technology in English learning, this paper evaluates the English pronunciation quality through the deep learning algorithm of deep learning combined with the related contents of neural network data model, and the experimental results of speech recognition structure are analyzed and discussed in detail. The concordance between machine and manual intonation evaluation is 80%, the concordance rate of adjacent intonation evaluation is 98.33%, and the Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.627 that shows the technique is reliable. The method of English pronunciation and speech identification model is sensible and dependable, which can give beginners a punctual, exact and impartial judgment and response guidance, assist learners to get on the differences between their phonemic and standard phonemic, and correct phonemic mistakes, in order to enhance the ability of oral English learning. Drought prediction plays an important guiding role in drought risk management. The standardized precipitation index (SPI) is a popular meteorological drought indicator to measure the degree of drought. The SPI time series is non-stationary, whereas the conventional artificial neural network (ANN) model has limitations to predict non-stationary time series. To overcome this limitation, it is essential to investigate input data preprocessing to improve the ANN model. In this paper, a hybrid model coupled with singular spectrum analysis (SSA) and backpropagation ANN is proposed (SSA-BP-ANN). The advantage of this model is that the SSA of finite-length SPI sequences does not require the adoption of boundary extensions to suppress boundary effects, while the most predictable components of the SPI can be efficiently extracted and incorporated into the model. The proposed SSA-BP-ANN model is tested in case studies at three meteorological stations in Northern Shannxi Province, China. The results show that the SSA-BP-ANN model can produce more accurate predictions than the BP-ANN model. In addition, the performance improvement of SSA on the BP-ANN model is slightly better than wavelet decomposition and empirical mode decomposition. Pu'er tea is a Yunnan geographical indication product, and its brand value ranks first in China. At present, qualitative and quantitative methods with low prediction accuracy are used to predict price. In this paper, based on the current situation and industry characteristics, a differential autoregressive integrated moving average model (ARIMA) is used to predict the short-term price. From the perspective of macro and micro, back-propagation neural network model (BP) was established to predict the long-term price based on the weight ranking of 16 factors affecting the price by technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution method (TOPSIS). The future price is predicted and analyzed, and then based on the empirical results, suggestions are put forward for the industry in terms of reducing production capacity, increasing consumer demand and combining with the publicity and promotion of Internet. With the rapid development of China's electrical industry, the safe operation of electrical facilities is very important for social stability and people's property safety. The failure detection method of conventional electrical equipment is hand detection, which has high experience of the detection person, lacks detection and error detection, and the detection efficiency is low. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, computer-assisted substation inspection is now possible, and substation inspection using an intelligent inspection robot equipped with an infrared device is one of the main substation inspection methods. In this paper, experiments are carried out using several neural network models. For example, if a faster region convolutional neural networks (RCNN) infrared detection model is employed, a good vg16 in the feature region of the extracted image takes into account the quality of the infrared image and the presence of multiple devices. Infrared images can be used to determine the basic features of various electronic devices. In order to detect targets in infrared images of electrical equipment, the fast RCNN target detection algorithm is used, and the overall recognition accuracy reaches 83.1%, and a good application effect is obtained. Aftershocks can cause disasters again after mainshocks, which result in threat to life and economic loss. In order to avoid secondary disasters, it is necessary to predict whether aftershocks would happen in a given region. There have been studies using different features and methods to predict aftershocks spatial distribution. However, it is still unclear which are more important for aftershock prediction, input features or models; which type of features is more predictive for the prediction task. In this paper, we predict aftershock spatial distribution by combining different types of features and applying different machine learning methods. We introduce five different types of features and combine them together for prediction: the stress change sensors, their logarithmic values, the physical quantities, the magnitude of mainshocks, and the distance between the grid cell and the epicenter of mainshocks. We train different classifiers: Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine,Gradient Boosting Decision Tree, k-Nearest Neighbors, Logistic regression, and DMAP (a Deep Neural Network model). Based on the 62,811 aftershocks of 171 distinct mainshocks in the past about 40 years in China, we conduct comprehensive experiments and analyses. We find that features play a more important role for this prediction task. Using the same feature type, different classifiers obtain quite similar performance. With different features, the same model performs differently. Taking the combined features as input, we achieve the state-of-the-art performance, with an AUC of 0.9530, about 4% higher than that of DeVries et al., showing the superiority of the combined features. Among all the features, adding the distance to the stress change sensors contributes the most to improve the prediction performance. As a supplement to the financing of small- and medium-sized enterprises, bank microfinance companies are nonbank financial institutions, and it has played an active role in maintaining the stability of financial markets. The purpose of this paper is to study the microfinance risk based on polygenic artificial neural network, and it provides theory and practice application for risk management of microcredit enterprises. Taking the risk management of China's microfinance companies as the research object, on the basis of previous studies, this paper analyzes the risks of bank microfinance companies. Secondly, the basic theory of neural network model and its transformation function are introduced, and the learning method of neural network. At the same time, the learning algorithm of neural network and its improved algorithm are mainly introduced. It lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up empirical research. Then, through the empirical study of data-based risk assessment of microcredit of farmers, the sample data are divided into training samples and test samples for comparison. Then, we use MATLAB software to establish a neural network model for farmers' microcredit risk assessment. Finally, in order to make the neural network model of farmers' credit risk assessment better popularize and apply, and effectively reduce the credit risk of farmers' microcredit. The corresponding policy suggestions are put forward, which proves the validity and applicability of the neural network in the field of farmers' microcredit risk assessment. Background: With the character of high incidence, high prevalence and high mortality, stroke has brought a heavy burden to families and society in China. In 2009, the Ministry of Health of China launched the China national stroke screening and intervention program, which screens stroke and its risk factors and conducts high-risk population interventions for people aged above 40 years old all over China. In this program, stroke risk factors include hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, smoking, lack of exercise, apparently overweight and family history of stroke. People with more than two risk factors or history of stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) are considered as high-risk. However, it is impossible for this criterion to classify stroke risk levels for people with unknown values in fields of risk factors. The missing of stroke risk levels results in reduced efficiency of stroke interventions and inaccuracies in statistical results at the national level. In this paper, we use 2017 national stroke screening data to develop stroke risk classification models based on machine learning algorithms to improve the classification efficiency.Method: Firstly, we construct training set and test sets and process the imbalance training set based on oversampling and undersampling method. Then, we develop logistic regression model, Naïve Bayesian model, Bayesian network model, decision tree model, neural network model, random forest model, bagged decision tree model, voting model and boosting model with decision trees to classify stroke risk levels.Result: The recall of the boosting model with decision trees is the highest (99.94%), and the precision of the model based on the random forest is highest (97.33%). Using the random forest model (recall: 98.44%), the recall will be increased by about 2.8% compared with the method currently used, and several thousands more people with high risk of stroke can be identified each year.Conclusion: Models developed in this paper can improve the current screening method in the way that it can avoid the impact of unknown values, and avoid unnecessary rescreening and intervention expenditures. Extreme value theory can analyze the extreme changes of financial market returns, and it is an effective financial risk management model. The distribution characteristics of financial assets' returns are the core content of all financial models. The assumptions about the fluctuation behavior of returns and its distribution characteristics are of great theoretical and practical significance for the measurement and management of financial risks. We compare the estimates of value at risk by the peak over threshold model with that by the traditional variance-covariance method. During downturns, the peak over threshold model based value at risk estimates is higher relative to that by the traditional variance-covariance approach. At the same time, this paper conducts statistical analysis of basic data through data collection and combines the establishment of statistical methods to study the practical effects of various factors on carbon productivity in China. In addition, this paper constructs a low-carbon economic neural network model based on particle swarm optimization to study carbon emissions. Finally, on the basis of analysis and research, this paper puts forward policy recommendations for China's future low-carbon development model, and then provides reference for guiding the development of China's future low-carbon model and provides theoretical basis for subsequent related research. Ice clouds are mostly composed of different ice crystal habits. It is of great importance to classify ice crystal habits seeing as they could greatly impact single‐scattering properties of ice crystal particles. The single‐scattering properties play an important role in the study of cloud remote sensing and the Earth's atmospheric radiation budget. However, there are countless ice crystals with different shapes in ice clouds, and the task of empirical classification based on naked‐eye observations is unreliable, time consuming and subjective, which leads to classification results having obvious uncertainties and biases. In this paper, the images of ice crystals observed from airborne Cloud Particle Imager in China are used to establish an ice crystal data set called Ice Crystals Database in China, which consists of 10 habit categories containing over 7,000 images. We propose an automatic classification model of ice crystal habits, called TL‐ResNet152, which is a deep convolutional neural network based on the newly developed method of transfer learning. The results show that the TL‐ResNet152 model could achieve reliable performance in ice crystal habits classification with the accuracy of 96%, which is far more accurate than traditional classification methods. Achieving high‐precision automatic classification of ice crystal habits will help us better understand the radiation characteristics of ice clouds. In this paper, we propose an automatic classification model of ice crystal habits called TL‐ResNet152, which is a deep CNN based on a newly developed method of transfer learning. Using the TL‐ResNet152 model, high precision and automatic classification of ice crystal habits could be achieved, furthering our understanding of radiation characteristics of ice clouds. We have set up an ice crystal data set, called Ice Crystals Database in China, which consists of 10 habit categories with 7,282 images. As far as we know, it is the first publicly available ice crystals data set in China, pertaining to ice crystals observed in natural ice clouds. This paper attempts to apply recurrent neural networks (RNN) to price forecasts and financial trading. Compared with previous neural networks models, the recurrent neural network can better use the previous information to infer subsequent events, which is more suitable for price time series analysis. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) has made structural changes to the RNN to avoid long-term dependency problems. The empirical research uses the 2010–2017 price panel data of four kinds of soybean futures in China's futures market, and confirms the model's improved predictive ability through statistical tests. The empirical analysis of futures trading verifies the practice of these model strategies in terms of risked return. This paper improves and expands the application of recurrent neural networks model, and provides a new idea for applying artificial neural network algorithm to futures trading. The ''last mile'' service experience of catering O2O determines user satisfaction and user loyalty of catering O2O platforms. Evaluating user experience of catering O2O distribution link will help catering O2O platforms find problems in the distribution link and provide theoretical support for the improvement of user experience and user satisfaction. From the perspective of distribution link, based on the user experience theory, this paper uses the literature research method, Delphi method, and questionnaire survey method to establish user experience evaluation index system of catering O2O distribution link, including browsing experience, tangible experience, empathic experience, responsiveness experience, reliability experience, and assurance experience 6 factors, and also establishes the BP neural network model. On the basis, the paper selects the data of well-known platform users in East China coastal regions, and trains and simulates the model. The results show that the model can achieve the evaluation of user experience in O2O distribution link. The coastal area of South China is a frequent seismic activity area. To improve the seismic performance of architectural structures in the coastal areas of South China, this paper proposed a Niche Bat Algorithm (NBA) Wavelet Neural Network (WNN) constitutive model of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA), and compared it with WNN model and BA-optimized WNN (BA-WNN). The paper applied SMA to the seismic control of truss structure, and the obtained SMA control system can more effectively reduce the interlayer displacement of the structure and alleviate the seismic response of the structure, it provided a new method for seismic resistance of coastal structures. In recent years, sustainable digital economy development goals have received increasing attention because of the serious influence environment with the development of the rapid economy. Meanwhile, Multiple Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods are efficient ways to measure sustainable developments, which can controls environmental pollution and protects sustainability improvement. However, assessment results are unconvincing by using the common MCDM methods because various areas that caused pollution conditions are inconsistent. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to design an interpretable MCDM method with uncertain weights for various areas evaluation. In particular, MCDM can be used to evaluate environmental sustainability development efficiently, and deep neural networks can supply credible weights to MCDM. Interpretability is used to understand key factors in the decision-making process. Referring to the national policy and urgent areas from central areas in China, six areas are conducted to assess the sustainable digital economy problem, which could be interpreted as demonstrating the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach. Microseismic technology has been widely used in geological hazard monitoring. However, the effective identification and classification of microseismic events in mines have always been a challenge in hazard monitoring. In this paper, a new method combining the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) algorithm and artificial neural network is proposed for the classification and identification of microseismic waveforms. This is the first study to explore such a model in the microseismic monitoring of coal mines. The data for this study were collected from a coal mine in northern China. A total of 2768 microseismic events and 2435 non-microseismic events were manually selected from a large amount of data. Firstly, the microseismic waveform reconstruction was performed using the 4th to 8th Intrinsic Mode Function (IMF) obtained by the EMD algorithm. Secondly, the peak factor, clearance factor, impulse factor, kurtosis, skewness, and waveform factor of each reconstructed microseismic waveform were used as features. Subsequently, the convolutional neural network (CNN) was used to classify microseismic events. Among them, data from 3600 microseismic events were used as the training set, and data from 1603 microseismic events were used as the test set. Finally, the original waveform data were used as input and compared with the classification results processed with the EMD algorithm. The classification methods of the BP neural network and Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network were used for verification. The results of the processed features showed a significant increase in accuracy. The classification accuracy of CNN, BP neural network, and RBF neural network are 97.37%, 91.99%, and 94.23%, respectively. Learning analytics (LA) has been widely adopted in research on education. However, most studies in the area have conducted LA after computer‐supported collaborative learning (CSCL) activities rather than during CSCL. To address this problem, this study proposed a LA‐based real‐time feedback approach based on a deep neural network model to improve CSCL performance. In total, 72 university students participated in the study and were randomly assigned to an experimental or control group. The students in the experimental group learned with the LA‐based real‐time feedback approach, whereas the students in the control group learned with the conventional online collaborative learning approach. To analyse the data, both quantitative and qualitative methods were adopted. The results indicated that the LA‐based real‐time feedback approach significantly promoted knowledge convergence, knowledge elaboration, interactive relationships and group performance. The interview results also confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Accurate electricity load forecasting is an important prerequisite for stable electricity system operation. In this paper, it is found that daily and weekly variations are prominent by the power spectrum analysis of the historical loads collected hourly in Tai'an, Shandong Province, China. In addition, the influence of the extraneous variables is also very obvious. For example, the load dropped significantly for a long period of time during the Chinese Lunar Spring Festival. Therefore, an artificial neural network model is constructed with six periodic and three nonperiodic factors. The load from January 2016 to August 2018 was divided into two parts in the ratio of 9 : 1 as the training set and the test set, respectively. The economic environment has changed dramatically around the world in recent years, generating favorable conditions for the growth of small- and medium-sized firms. The socioeconomic development and international integration of China are greatly influenced by the growth in both quality and quantity, the scale of operations, and the internal force of small- and medium-sized businesses. Moreover, in comparison with other developed countries around the world, Chinese small- and medium-sized enterprises continue to face many limitations in terms of size and contribution levels and have not yet fully realized their potentials due to difficulties and poor quality; human resources in this field are still lacking. This study defines the current state of human resources in small and medium firms, the factors that impede development, and the steps that can be taken to overcome these obstacles in order to assist human resource development in this sector during the current period. This study uses machine learning (ML) techniques to manage and analyze human resource data in modern enterprises. The ML techniques realize the functions of the human resource system and reduce the business volume in human resource in order to improve the efficiency and management of the human resource work. In this paper, we designed and implemented the wage forecasting model in human resources that uses a gradient descent algorithm, its types, and backpropagation (BP) neural network to improve the accuracy of the forecasting model. We performed multiple experiments by using a various number of neurons in the hidden layers, different number of iterations, and several types of gradient descent algorithms. The BP neural network model was performed brilliantly by attaining the training accuracy of 89.98% and validation accuracy of 84.05%. Optimal operation of hydropower reservoir systems is a classical optimization problem of high dimensionality and stochastic nature. A key challenge lies in improving the interpretability of operation strategies, i.e., the cause–effect relationship between system outputs (or actions) and contributing variables such as states and inputs. This paper reports for the first time a new deep reinforcement learning (DRL) framework for optimal operation of reservoir systems based on deep Q-networks (DQNs), which provides a significant advance in understanding the performance of optimal operations. DQN combines Q-learning and two deep artificial neural networks (ANNs), and acts as the agent to interact with the reservoir system through learning its states and providing actions. Three knowledge forms of learning considering the states, actions, and rewards were constructed to improve the interpretability of operation strategies. The impacts of these knowledge forms and DRL learning parameters on operation performance were analyzed. The DRL framework was tested on the Huanren hydropower system in China, using 400-year synthetic flow data for training and 30-year observed flow data for verification. The discretization levels of reservoir water level and energy output yield contrasting effects: finer discretization of water level improved performance in terms of annual hydropower generated and hydropower production reliability; however, finer discretization of hydropower production can reduce search efficiency, and thus the resulting DRL performance. Compared with benchmark algorithms including dynamic programming, stochastic dynamic programming, and decision tree, the proposed DRL approach can effectively factor in future inflow uncertainties when determining optimal operations and can generate markedly higher hydropower. This study provides new knowledge of the performance of DRL in the context of hydropower system characteristics and data input features, and shows promise for potentially being implemented in practice to derive operation policies that can be updated automatically by learning from new data. Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) plays an irreplaceable role in the monitoring of marine oil spills. However, due to the limitation of its imaging characteristics, it is difficult to use traditional image processing methods to effectively extract oil spill information from SAR images with coherent speckle noise. In this paper, the convolutional neural network AlexNet model is used to extract the oil spill information from SAR images by taking advantage of its features of local connection, weight sharing, and learning for image representation. The existing remote sensing images of the oil spills in recent years in China are used to build a dataset. These images are enhanced by translation and flip of the dataset, and so on and then sent to the established deep convolutional neural network for training. The prediction model is obtained through optimization methods such as Adam. During the prediction, the predicted image is cut into several blocks, and the error information is removed by corrosion expansion and Gaussian filtering after the image is spliced again. The landslide caused a huge disaster to the living environment and seriously threatened the lives and property safety of nearby residents. Assess or predict landslide-susceptible the landslide displacement through monitoring are great beneficial to guide landslide control and mitigate these hazards by taking appropriate preparatory measures. In this paper, a new water cycle algorithm optimization BP neural network (BPNN) dynamic prediction model (WCA-BPNN) was established to make up for the shortcoming of BPNN convergence speed. A typical step-wise landslide——Langshuwan Landslide happened in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of China is taken as a case, and the displacement monitoring data of 4 years was used for time series analysis and modeling. The long-term creep effect of the landslide and the short-term acceleration effect of the climate are considered in the model, and the accumulative displacement is divided into two kinds of trend displacement and periodic displacement. The key influencing factors of landslide periodic displacement were screened by gray relational grade analysis method, and then used as learning data. In addition to comparing the predicted value of the model with the measured value, it also compares the accuracy of the three models of BPNN, support vector machine, extreme learning machine under the training conditions of the same learning data set. The results show that the WAC-BPNN model has faster convergence speed and higher prediction accuracy than the traditional BPNN model, and it is also the most accurate of the four models. The severity and harmfulness of a rockburst event are significantly correlated with the scale of rock mass ejection, especially when the rock mass are not supported. This paper presents a microseismicity-based method for the early estimation of rockburst occurrence and its potential scale, which is graded according to the volume of the rockburst pit (Rv). The establishment of the estimation method involves a rockburst database, a grading scheme of the rockburst scale, selection and clustering analysis of rockburst samples, training of an artificial neural network (ANN) model, and dynamic updating. Firstly, a rockburst database is established from cases that were collected from the tunnels at depths of 1900–2525 m in the Jinping II hydropower station, located in southwest China. A grading scheme regarding the rockburst scale is preliminarily proposed on the basis of statistical analysis. Next, seventy-four rockburst cases, collected in tunnels with microseismic (MS) monitoring from October 2010 to March 2011, are selected as typical rockburst samples by using cluster analysis, and the relationships between the microseismicity and rockburst scale are deeply revealed. Then, three MS parameters, namely, the cumulative number of events, the cumulative energy, and the cumulative apparent volume, are determined and used together as input indicators for the identification of the rockburst scale. The estimation model is trained and cross-validated by the ANN optimized through genetic algorithm (GA). Finally, the performance of this microseismicity-based method has been validated by thirty-one cases that occurred in the tunnels with a cumulative length of 1.85 km, excavated from April 2011 to November 2011. The result indicates that approximately 83.9% of the rockburst cases could be reliably estimated. This study provides a new and feasible method for rockburst scale estimation, which can be used separately or applied as a complementary approach to current prediction methods for risk assessment and management of rockbursts in drill-and-blast tunneling. Accurate Origin-Destination (OD) prediction is significant for effective traffic monitor, which can support operation decision in traffic planning and management field. The enclosed expressway network system like toll gates system in China can collect mounts of trip records which can be gathered for OD prediction. The paper develops a novel neural network, which is named Expressway OD Prediction Neural Network (EODPNN) for toll data-based prediction. The network consists of the following three modules: The Feature Extension Module, the Memory Module, and the Prediction Module. In the process, the attributes data which can reflect the city attribute such as GDP, population, and the number of vehicles are considered to embeded into the notwork to increase the accuracy of the model. For the applicability improvment of the model, we categorize the cities in multiple classes based on their economy and population scales in this paper, which can provide a higher accurate prediction of OD by EODPNN. The results shows that, comparing to the traditional model like ARIMA and SVM, or typical neural networks like Bidirectional Long Short-term Memory, the EODPNN delivers a better prediction performance. Reasonable and scientific prediction for railway freight volume has an important impact on railway network planning and railway transportation resources allocation. However, to predict the future railway freight volume is complicated and difficult, because it is influenced by many factors, such as macro economy, industrial structure, and supply capacity, etc. In this paper, an improved prediction model is proposed, named as GCA-GA-GNN. GCA is short for grey correlation analysis, which was adopted to select the key factors which have great influence on railway freight volume instead of subjective factors. GNN is the main body of the prediction model, which combines grey prediction model and neural networks to take the advantages of linear and nonlinear modeling capabilities. Moreover, genetic algorithm is used in GNN to improve calculating speed. Then, the validity of the model was verified by the empirical case of China. The results of five different prediction models showed that the model proposed in this paper has faster convergence speed and higher prediction accuracy. Moreover, according to the downward trend of China railway freight volume from the year 2017 to 2020, some suggestions are proposed to reverse the downward trend and increase railway corporation's profits. As we know, AI is deeply integrated with all walks of life. While upgrading traditional products and transforming traditional industries, a large number of new products, new industries and new formats have emerged in large numbers, and new industrial space has been further expanded. The potential for steady economic growth remains huge. However, the influence of merelygrowing capital asset and labor force dimension in terms of boosting economic progress has been waning globally. Considering the China's data panel data outlying areas during 1978–2017 as the research sample, possible economic growing rate of Chinahas been calculated in detail according to the labor-intensive structural time-varying elastic model. It shows a U-shaped development track during 2018–2027, with an average growth rate between 5.00%and 6.00%. There are also great variances in the probable economy growing rates in different regions in China. It shows that relying solely on traditional factors of production to drive potential economic growth, China has been unable to maintain the prosperity of stable development over the past few decades. Chinese Sign Language (CSL) offers the main means of communication for the hearing impaired in China. Sign Language Recognition (SLR) can shorten the distance between the hearing-impaired and healthy people and help them integrate into the society. Therefore, SLR has become the focus of sign language application research. Over the years, the continuous development of new technologies provides a source and motivation for SLR. This paper aims to cover the most recent approaches in Chinese Sign Language Recognition (CSLR). With a thorough review of superior methods from 2000 to 2019 in CSLR researches, various techniques and algorithms such as scale-invariant feature transform, histogram of oriented gradients, wavelet entropy, Hu moment invariant, Fourier descriptor, gray-level co-occurrence matrix, dynamic time warping, principal component analysis, autoencoder, hidden Markov model (HMM), support vector machine (SVM), random forest, skin color modeling method, k-NN, artificial neural network, convolutional neural network (CNN), and transfer learning are discussed in detail, which are based on several major stages, that is, data acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification. CSLR was summarized from some aspect as follows: methods of classification and feature extraction, accuracy/performance evaluation, and sample size/datasets. The advantages and limitations of different CSLR approaches were compared. It was found that data acquisition is mainly through Kinect and camera, and the feature extraction focuses on hand's shape and spatiotemporal factors, but ignoring facial expressions. HMM and SVM are used most in the classification. CNN is becoming more and more popular, and a deep neural network-based recognition approach will be the future trend. However, due to the complexity of the contemporary Chinese language, CSLR generally has a lower accuracy than other SLR. The carbon trading market has become a powerful weapon in alleviating carbon emissions in China, and the carbon price is at the core of its operation. Hence, the carbon trading market serves as an indispensable component in forecasting the carbon price accurately in advance. This paper innovatively explores an ensemble‐driven long short‐term memory network (LSTM) model based on complementary ensemble empirical mode decomposition (CEEMD) for carbon price forecasting, applying it to all eight carbon trading pilots in China. The CEEMD was initially implemented for mode transformation in order to decompose the original complicated mode into a set of simple modes. Then, the partial autocorrelation function selected time‐lagged features as inputs for each mode. Subsequently, the LSTM was used to model the mapping between time‐lagged factors as well as each mode's target values, constructing multiple LSTM models for ensemble learning. Finally, the inverse CEEMD computation was introduced to integrate the anticipated results of the multi‐mode into the final results. Its practical application simultaneously embraced all eight carbon pilots in China, covering their corresponding carbon price data over a considerably long period. The obtained results illustrated that the proposed model driven by ensemble learning possessed sufficient accuracy in carbon price forecasting in China compared with the single LSTM model as well as other conventional artificial neural network models. Wet-AMD has two similar subtypes, Neovascular AMD and Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy (PCV). However, due to the difficulty in data collection and the similarity between images, most studies have only achieved the coarse-grained classification of wet-AMD rather than a fine-grained one of wet-AMD subtypes. Therefore, designing and building a deep learning model to diagnose neovascular AMD and PCV is a great challenge. To solve this issue, in this paper, we propose a Knowledge-driven Fine-grained Wet-AMD Classification Model (KFWC) to enhance the model's accuracy in the fine-grained disease classification with insufficient data. We innovatively introduced a two-stage method. In the first stage, we present prior knowledge of 10 lesion signs through pre-training; in the second stage, the model implements the classification task with the help of human knowledge. With the pre-training of priori knowledge of 10 lesion signs from input images, KFWC locates the powerful image features in the fine-grained disease classification task and therefore achieves better classification. To demonstrate the effectiveness of KFWC, we conduct a series of experiments on a clinical dataset collected in cooperation with a Grade III Level A ophthalmology hospital in China. The AUC score of KFWC reaches 99.71%, with 6.69% over the best baseline and 4.14% over ophthalmologists. KFWC can also provide good interpretability and effectively alleviate the pressure of data collection and annotation in the field of fine-grained disease classification for wet-AMD. The model proposed in this paper effectively solves the difficulties of small data volume and high image similarity in the wet-AMD fine-grained classification task through a knowledge-driven approach. Besides, this method effectively relieves the pressure of data collection and annotation in the field of fine-grained classification. The study of forest fire prediction is of great environmental and scientific significance. China's Guangxi Autonomous Region has a high incidence rate of forest fires. At present, there is little research on forest fires in this area. The application of the artificial neural network and support vector machines (SVM) in forest fire prediction in this area can provide data for forest fire prevention and control in Guangxi. In this paper, based on Guangxi's 2010–2018 satellite monitoring hotspot data, meteorology, terrain, vegetation, infrastructure, and socioeconomic data, the researchers determined the main forest fire driving factors in Guangxi. They used feature selection and backpropagation neural networks and radial basis SVM to build forest fire prediction models. Finally, the researchers use the accuracy, precision, and area under the characteristic curve (ROC-AUC) and other indicators to evaluate the predictive performance of the two models. The results showed that the prediction accuracy of the BP neural network and SVM is 92.16% and 89.89%, respectively. As both results are over 85%, the requirements of prediction accuracy is met. These results can be used for forest fire prediction in the Guangxi Autonomous Region. Specifically, the accuracy of the BP neural network was 0.93, which was higher than that of the SVM model (0.89); the recall of the SVM model was 0.84, which was lower than the BANN model (0.92), and the AUC value of the SVM model was 0.95, which was lower than the BP neural network model. The obtained results confirm that the BP neural network model can provide more prediction accuracy than support vector machines and is therefore more suitable for forest fire prediction in Guangxi, China. This paper develops a hierarchical deep learning machine (HDLM) to efficiently achieve both quantitative and qualitative online transient stability prediction (TSP). For the sake of improving its online efficiency, multiple generators’ fault-on trajectories as well as the two closest data-points in pre-/post-fault stages are acquired by PMUs to form its raw inputs. An anti-noise graphical transient characterization technique is tactfully designed to transform multiplex trajectories into 2-D images, within which system-wide transients are concisely described. Then, following the divide-and-conquer philosophy, the HDLM trains a two-level convolutional neural network (CNN) based regression model. With stability margin regressions hierarchically refined, it manages to perform reliable and adaptive online TSP almost immediately after fault clearance. Test results on the IEEE 39-bus test system and the real-world Guangdong Power Grid in South China demonstrate the HDLM's superior performances on both stability status and stability margin predictions. To address the problems of high overflow rate of pipe network inspection well and low drainage efficiency, a rainwater control optimization design approach based on a self-organizing feature map neural network model (SOFM) was proposed in this paper. These problems are caused by low precision parameter design in various rainwater control measures such as the diameter of the rainwater pipe network and the green roof area ratio. This system is to be combined with the newly built rainwater pipe control optimization design project of China International Airport in Daxing District of Beijing, China. Through the optimization adjustment of the pipe network parameters such as the diameter of the rainwater pipe network, the slope of the pipeline, and the green infrastructure (GI) parameters such as the sinking green area and the green roof area, reasonable control of airport rainfall and the construction of sustainable drainage systems can be achieved. This research indicates that compared with the result of the drainage design under the initial value of the parameter, the green roof model and the conceptual model of the mesoscale sustainable drainage system, in the case of a hundred-year torrential rainstorm, the overflow rate of pipe network inspection wells has reduced by 36% to 67.5%, the efficiency of drainage has increased by 26.3% to 61.7%, which achieves the requirements for reasonable control of airport rainwater and building a sponge airport and a sustainable drainage system. In order to improve the prediction accuracy and modeling speed of railway freight volume, this paper combines the cargo floating price prediction model with the neural network algorithm (hereinafter referred to as NNA) to establish a prediction model. The railway cargo floating price based on neural network (hereinafter referred to as PMBCFP) relies on the random forest regression algorithm (hereinafter referred to as RFRA). Through the neural network operator in the prediction model of the floating price of goods, the randomness of the original sequence is weakened, and the implicit rules in the series are mined. The characteristics of neural networks are computationally very simple. In addition, a random forest regression algorithm is applied to the optimization, RFRA's choice. Case studies of China's rail freight volume show that RMSE and other indicators are faster. The MAE, MPE and Tell inequality coefficients obtained from this model were 0.0628, 0.0523, 0.0162 and 0.0107, respectively. This model has good prediction results. The time to search for the best parameters of RFRA using the NNA algorithm is 55.656 s, which is 10.462 s less than the time required for traditional cross-validation methods.
