And so do you!” —Penn Jillette, half of the Emmy-winning magic-comedy duo Penn & Teller Years ago, Alex and Emma's parents disappeared trying to protect magic. Now Alex thinks he knows how to find them—if only his sister, their talking rabbit Pimawa, and their friend Savachia would trust fate to guide the way. The problem: Alex's “fate” keeps leading the group straight into danger. Specifically, into an enchanted jungle where a tree-like creature named Awen seems intent on doing them harm. But Alex is certain Awen knows more than she is letting on. And when she is captured, the kids follow the trail to the city of magic: Las Vegas. In the desert, sleight-of-hand runs the show, and at the center of it all is Angel Xavier, an evil conjurian who will stop at nothing to seize power. - Abstract
In today's turbulent technological environment, it's becoming increasingly crucial for companies to know about the principle of least privilege. These organizations often have the best security software money can buy, with equally developed policies with which to execute them, but they fail to take into account the weakest link in their implementation: human nature. Despite all other efforts, people can sway from what they should be doing. Preventing Good People from doing Bad Things drives that concept home to business executives, auditors, and IT professionals alike. Instead of going through the step-by-step process of implementation, the book points out the implications of allowing users to run with unlimited administrator rights, discusses the technology and supplementation of Microsoft's Group Policy, and dives into the different environments least privilege affects, such as Unix and Linux servers, and databases. Readers will learn ways to protect virtual environments, how to secure multi-tenancy for the cloud, information about least privilege for applications, and how compliance enters the picture. The book also discusses the cost advantages of preventing good people from doing bad things. Each of the chapters emphasizes the need auditors, business executives, and IT professionals all have for least privilege, and discuss in detail the tensions and solutions it takes to implement this principle. Each chapter includes data from technology analysts including Forrester, Gartner, IDC, and Burton, along with analyst and industry expert quotations.

- Shipwrecks--North Atlantic Ocean--Bibliography
- Abstract
Titanic scholars contend that the demise of'the unsinkable ship'left more behind than a memory of April 15, 1912, as an important point in history. Through books, films, stories, and songs, the archetypal shipwreck has endured as a metaphor for the perils of mankind's hubris and the fallibility of technology. In 1985, the discovery of the long-missing wreckage two miles below the surface of the Atlantic revitalized interest in the Titanic and spawned a new generation of books, films, and, for the first time, websites, and computer games. James Cameron's blockbuster Titanic became the biggest movie of all time and engendered still greater popular interest in the tragic event. This bibliography is a survey of the immense volume of literary, dramatic, and commercial endeavors that came out of history's most compelling shipwreck. Organized by genre in accessible categories and short entries, the book includes Titanic-inspired documentaries, narrative films, children's books, histories, short stories, novels, plays, articles, essays, software, websites, poems, and songs. Each entry includes a brief review, bibliographic information, and the technical details of the specific source. The reviews include subjective analysis designed to reflect the usefulness of the source and to be of benefit to researchers and scholars. Five appendices include lists of the actors appearing in more than one Titanic film, brief film and television appearances of the Titanic, films never or not yet released, books that survived the wreck, and books written by passengers.
