Nella quasi totalità delle banche centrali il capitale è di proprietà esclusiva dello Stato, riconducendo quindi gli aspetti patrimoniali nell'alveo dei più complessi rapporti con le autorità politiche. Questa situazione trae la propria origine da un lungo processo di nazionalizzazioni, iniziato negli anni Trenta del secolo scorso ed esauritosi in massima parte attorno alla metà degli anni Settanta. Permane però un piccolo ma significativo campione di istituzioni, tra le quali si ricordano la Federal Reserve e la Banca d'Italia, che contempla la presenza di investitori privati nel proprio capitale. Il volume fornisce un modello di analisi degli equilibri gestionali dell'azienda bancaria centrale, sia perché questi possono interagire con la politica monetaria sia, e soprattutto, perché sono di interesse per alcune categorie di stakeholder. Crowdinvesting hat durch die Finanzierung von Start-ups das Potential ein starker Innovationstreiber zu werden. Es kann gerade in Zeiten, in denen Banken aufgrund von regulatorischen Vorgaben nur äußerst restriktiv in riskante Neugründungen investieren, eine Finanzierungslücke in der Frühphase füllen. Das finanzielle Risiko eines Start-ups wird durch Crowdinvesting auf eine Vielzahl von Investoren verteilt und damit für jeden einzelnen verringert. Im Gegenzug profitieren die Kleinanleger von einer jährlichen Gewinnbeteiligung und dem Wertzuwachs am Unternehmen am Ende der Laufzeit. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht die Motivation und das Investitionsverhalten von österreichischen Mikroinvestoren. Dazu wurde eine empirische Untersuchung in Form eines online Fragebogens unter österreichischen Crowdinvestoren durchgeführt. Es wurden speziell Fragen zur Zielgruppe, zur Motivation, zum Investitionsverhalten und zur Selbstreflexion bzw. Kommunikation gestellt. Das Ergebnis der Studie sind Erfolgsfaktoren, die von den Antworten der befragten Mikroinvestoren abgeleitet wurden. Die Erfolgsfaktoren sollen dem Konzept des Crowdinvesting in Österreich eine höhere Erfolgschance einräumen und damit allen Beteiligten helfen das Modell Crowdinvesting hinsichtlich der Akzeptanz der Investoren zu verbessern.
